KukulkanWP (ククルカン, Kukurukan?, localized as "Kukulcan"), Class Name Foreigner (フォーリナー, Fōrinā?), is a Foreigner-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in Fate/Grand Order. She is the Lostbelt King of the South American Lostbelt, where she also acts as both Archetype: Mictlan (アーキタイプ:ミクトラン, Ākitaipu: Mikutoran?) and Archetype: ORT (アーキタイプ:ORT?).
Profile
Background
Kukulkan is the Lostbelt King of the South American Lostbelt and the Heart of ORT.[1] In the history of the Lostbelt, a change in the trajectory of the Yucatán Peninsula Meteorite, the comet that carried the Malla, caused it to arrive to Earth 250 million years sooner than in Proper Human History, roughly 316 million years before present time.[2][3][4] Similarly, ORT also arrived earlier than it should have, making it the meteorite responsible for that world's Third Mass Extinction, 66 million years before present day. 60 million years later, ORT reactivated and attempted to destroy Mictlan, the underground World Malla had created to shelter the surviving dinosaurs of the previous Mass Extinction. However, thanks to the efforts of the Ka'an Kingdom and Mictlan's Nature Spirits, they were able to empower the former's ruler, Camazotz, enough to gouge out ORT's heart.[4][5] With ORT defeated, Malla decided to transform its heart into a new artificial miniature Sun for Mictlan.[5] Kukulkan is the resulting Archetype born from the union of those two Foreigners,[6] giving her attributes as both Archetype: Mictlan and Archetype: ORT.[1][4]
For millions of years, Kukulkan didn't have a physical body. She was a formless wind known as the Teachings of the Sun (太陽の教え?). It wasn't until Daybit Sem Void and Tezcatlipoca arrived to Mictlan that Malla used their knowledge from Proper Human History to give Kukulkan a new form modeled after the god Quetzalcoatl. This is how Kukulkan became regarded as the Deinos' goddess.

Personality
Diplomatic and active. In short, an “impeccable and integrous goddess”. Extremely frank, and yet elegant, close to others, and philanthropic. Just by being present, she sparkles. She will hear out your various woes, cheer you on, ensure you’re in good health, and bring you good luck. She will sparkle, even when silent. She even feels a cosmic (overloading) affection. In other words, she’s physically sparkling.
But in the end, she’ll say
“Well then, we’ll just have to fight!”
She’s an unreasonable goddess who will force you to go out, fight, and triumph, no matter how harsh the battlefield may be.
Instantly, everyone will understand;
“Ah, this lady fundamentally doesn’t understand human hearts.”
She loves hard-working living beings, wishes to safeguard the lives of those who have possibilities, and dreams of fighting alongside such lifeforms, so in a sense, she is a sheltered young lady. In combat, she says “Yahoo, it’s a battle!” before rocketing in like a cruise missile.
• Motive and Attitude towards her Master
As Kukulkan was born from love aimed at all living things, she is brimming with affection. However, she cannot express “human-like love”, as her decisions are global in scale.
“You’re someone I’ll protect and watch over, just like any other human on the earth... But would it be that bad if I put you a bit higher on the priority list?”
Kukulkan, who never knew of a special being, a partner who would influence her life, is thoroughly thrilled to have met someone ‘who can give cooperative aid’ for the very first time. She wants to know more. She wants to talk more. She wants to feel more. She wants to experience even more. Kukulkan doesn’t know that this is love for a lifeform “different from oneself”. Once she does, there will be no backsies.
Relationships
- Tezcatlipoca
- "Tezcatlipoca? Are you asking me about him? He's Kukulkan's rival in Proper Human History! So when I went to see him he was different from what I thought! He was docile and rational. When I said that, what do you think he said? "Of course I am. Compared to you, anyone would be rational, Birdie". Isn't that mean? I'm confident in my memory, you know?"[6]
- "Tezcatlipoca, huh. I can go kill him whenever you want. We're mutual enemies. It's not that I don't like that he can do anything, unlike me, you know?"[6]
- Quetzalcoatl / Quetzalcoatl (Samba/Santa)
- "That's Quetzalcoatl. A free wind who not only cunningly changed her name when she moved from the Maya to the Azteca and became very popular, but also became obsessed with Mexican culture after becoming a Servant. Oh no, I feel dizzy from this astounding feeling of affinity. Please let me call you Old Sister! Eh? If anything, I'd be the old sister? No way!"[6]
- "Quetzalcoatl, the real free wind who I admired and envied. May I someday become a wind who loves the future like her."[6]
- Tenochtitlan
- "A soul resides in the city. My origins are the same. I want to get along with her, but… For some reason she hates me. She says things like how annoying it is that Quetzalcoatl is an airhead even if she becomes a different person. Don't you think there's nothing to worry if I'm a different person, huh?"[6]
- Minamoto-no-Tametomo
- "A robust body. A sharp insight. And most importantly, a noble soul. I wanted to meet you! You must be Orion-san, right? I've been a great fan since I heard your anecdote with Artemis-san! Please let me have one match with you! Eh, I'm wrong? Tametomo-san? Then, Orion-san is… "It's better if you don't know him", you say?"[6]
- Orion
- "Artemis-san is my shopping pal. I owe her for showing me that even gods can enjoy shopping, and we both can talk ednlessly about love. But, she won't bring the rumored Orion-san with her. There's a weird bear, though."[6]
- Jaguar Man
- "Today I had a pleasant talk with Jaguar Man-san too. She's friendly, energetic, considerate, incomprehensible, and incredibly like-minded. Eh? Tezcatlipoca's Divided Spirit? That person? Again with the jokes. As distant from Proper Human History as I am, you won't deceive me, you know?"[6]
- Archetype: Earth
- "Huh? No need to guess, that princess is an Archetype? I see, so she's like that in Proper Human History. Her personality's different from Ixquik, though. She's totally my kind! Looks like we'll get along really well!"[6]
- Melusine
- "Please, listen! Just now, I had a rendezvous with this girl called Melusine, and it was super exciting! "You're good in your own way. If you're my opponent, next time I may get serious. If you don't mind, let's bet Master. That's nice. Let's do that.", she said! Whoa! A sudden windfall! Look at me, Master! I won't lose in an aerial battle!"[6]
- Tamamo-no-Mae / Tamamo-no-Mae (Swimsuit)
- "Tamamo no Mae. I know it. That despite her hiding her true identity, she's also a Divine Spirit overflowed from the Sun. Eh? Good Wife Miko Fox? Tamamo Nine? Japanese mythology is more complicated and mysterious than Mayan mythology…"[6]
- Kiara Sessyoin (Alter Ego) / Kiara Sessyoin (MoonCancer)
- "There's a star eater. Give me your orders, Master. That's a rational lifeform that should be killed while we can. She'll become a shame for the Earth, you know?"[6]
- Other Female Foreigners
- "I'm not surprised that there's another descended one other than me, but there's an inside and an outside for Foreigners. A threat from the outside. Is this also a Lostbelt created by Chaldea?"[6]

Kukulkan attacks U-Olga Marie and the Storm Border.[7]
Kukulkan fights Kingprotea Alter.[2][9]
Kukulkan fights Ereshkigal Alter.[3]
Kukulkan and Chaldea visit Xquic.[4][10] [11][12][13][5][14]
Kukulkan kills ORT Xibalba.[17]
Abilities
Kukulkan is a hybrid created from two Foreigners: Malla, which was the Sea of Trees itself, and ORT's heart, which was used as the Sun.[1][6] Furthermore, she is Mictlan's a god of wind, water, and the Sun.[8] Due to this, she is an incredibly powerful entity. She is considered one of the only three characters from the South American Lostbelt strong enough to oppose U-Olga Marie, the other two being ORT and Camazotz.[10] However, Tezcatlipoca believes Camazotz to be the strongest in that Lostbelt, implying he is stronger than Kukulkan.[13] Nevertheless, Huitzilopochtli claims that Kukulkan could have overturned the situation during the fight against UFO ORT in Chichén Itzá. However, since she didn't lift a finger, all the deinos were massacred. It should also be noted that ORT was weakened at the time, due to Beni-enma Alter severing its organ in charge of producing the Galactica Supercell.[17]
Due to being native to a Lostbelt, Kukulkan's Human Order Foundation has a negative value.[7]
Archetype: Mictlan
Originally, Kukulkan was a mechanism created by Malla to guard and oversee all of Mictlan.[3][11][16] She normally acts as Malla's representative, following its orders to exterminate foreign threats.[2][4][11][12] Furthermore, she holds memories from the Carboniferous Period and the Lostbelt's Third Mass Extinction,[2] millions of years before her Sun was constructed.[5] While her origins are similar to Xquic's, the latter's knowledge about Mictlan surpasses Kukulkan's.[9] On the other hand, the comet Malla arrived on could be considered a Living Planet, meaning it would have had a Mind of its own just like Earth.[4] For these reasons, Kukulkan is initially identified as Archetype: Mictlan (アーキタイプ:ミクトラン, Ākitaipu: Mikutoran?).[4][12] Unlike Xquic, who is Mictlan's new land, Kukulkan is Mictlan's new sun.[9]
However, Kukulkan being Mictlan's Archetype has never been strongly confirmed, and some characters have alluded to this having been a misunderstanding on their end.[12][15] For example, Leonardo da Vinci doubted whether Kukulkan was truly an agent of Malla, as she had sometimes gone along her own interests rather than Mictlan's.[12] Similarly, when ORT first started moving down in Xibalba, Kukulkan went against Malla's last directive, which was to eliminate Novum Chaldea. She chose to confront ORT rather than Chaldea, which made her believe that she might not be Mictlan's representative.[15] Furthermore, Kukulkan's physical body is humanoid, which doesn't resemble Mictlan's Prime Species, the Deinos.[4] This should normally be impossible, as an Archetype: Celestial Body only gains a physical form once the dominant species' civilization on their respective planet has evolved enough. Once that happens, they use the Prime Species as a reference to define their own "mold."[18] Kukulkan, on the other hand, is a Divine Spirit-copy of the original Quetzalcoatl created by Malla using the knowledge of Proper Human History carried by Tezcatlipoca and Daybit Sem Void.[4][13] Deinos didn't originally have gods, so their idea that "gods can only be born from intelligent humanoid beings" forced Kukulkan to look that way.[4] For these reasons, it is possible that Kukulkan wasn't actually Archetype: Mictlan, and that she just resembled it by virtue of how Malla's special properties work and Kukulkan's own hidden status as Archetype: ORT.[citation needed]
Archetype: ORT

Combat
Compared to other gods from Proper Human History who can use many "tricks," Kukulkan can only control wind and solar power.[6] However, she boasts incredible physical Strength, to the point she has trouble controlling it and is considered a brute.[2][13] Furthermore, Kukulkan claims that she can carry just about anything as long as she can get a hold of it.[2] For example, she has been shown carrying a box with a weight of 20 tons,[2] a mountain-worth of obsidian swords,[3] and the entire Storm Border while hopping through the jungle like a rabbit.[8] Her strength can also be applied offensively, as shown when she defeated Huitzilopochtli with a single punch. Her attack was so powerful that it pierced through Tezcatlipoca's smoke, knocked out Huitzilopochtli, sent her flying, and shattered the entire temple in Mexico City.[8]
According to Goredolf Musik, Kukulkan would have no trouble defeating hundreds or thousands of Camazotz's invulnerable skeletons.[9] Moreover, Grigori Rasputin states that she is a more powerful fighter than weakened U-Olga Marie, which was proven by the fact Kukulkan defeated Kingprotea Alter,[2] who U-Olga Marie lost to.[citation needed] While Kukulkan describes their fight as a splendid match, Kingprotea wishes to avoid fighting Kukulkan ever again.[2] On the other hand, Kukulkan claims that if she confronted Tezcatlipoca, she wouldn't hold back, so she can't guarantee the safety of people nearby.[8] Tezcatlipoca initially believed that if Daybit Sem Void and him ran into her, one of them would need to sacrifice himself to keep her at bay while the other reached ORT. However, he later considers Kukulkan's nature as an imitation of Quetzalcoatl. Due to this, he claims that he should have good compatibility against her. He claims that Kukulkan is a "newbie" and that her brute-force approach wouldn't hold a candle to his expert evasion.[13]
While Kukulkan is very strong, she's not all-powerful. For example, even with assistance from other Servants, Kukulkan was forced to withdraw during her first fight against Ereshkigal Alter. However, Ritsuka Fujimaru points out that she had been holding back by not using her Noble Phantasm.[3] Meanwhile, Beryl Gut believes Morgan to be superior to Kukulkan, as he stated that with Beast VII out of the picture after the events of the fifth Lostbelt, his Lostbelt King was now the strongest being left on the planet.[19]
Space Suit
In her second Ascension, Kukulkan wears a High-Performance Spacesuit (宇宙服?),[3] also called a Battle Uniform (戦闘服?).[6] According to Kukulkan, it might be a memory from distant ancient times.[6] In this form, she fights using her own style,[3] and she can fire what she calls a Mini Mini SupercellWP (ミニミニスーパーセル?).[6]
Kukulkan was able to manifest this form during the South American Lostbelt after forming a temporary Servant contract with Ritsuka Fujimaru. She first used it to attack Ereshkigal Alter with a long-ranged surprise attack, which she blocked.[3] Kukulkan easily defeated two of Daybit Sem Void's Dark Star Familiars, which had overpowered Ikusautsuwa-no-Oomikami and were attacking the Shadow Border. She also destroyed Satellite-Class ORT's metallic threads forming a spider web. She went on to help Mash Kyrielight and Ritsuka Fujimaru fight ORT until the latter stopped moving to finish rebooting.[15]
Wakchan claims that he could evade one or two of Kukulkan's attacks.[13]
Skills
Class Skills
- Territory Creation (- Rank): In Proper Human History, Kukulkan is a god of the winds and of civilisation, and at times is regarded as being the same being as the supreme god Itzamna. As the name Itzamna (House of Itzam) would suggest, Itzamna is the creator of the World, so Kukulkan, who is in turn identified with him, holds a high Territory Creation rank. But that’s the story of Proper Human History Kukulkan. The Kukulkan of the Lostbelt holds no such skill.[1]
- Civilization Creation (EX Rank): The Proper Human History Kukulkan has a supreme rank in Item Construction, but this Lostbelt Kukulkan has relatively poor control over her fingers’ fine movements, so she’s rather lacking in Item Construction. As a substitute, she has a talent called “Civilization Creation”, which furnishes her with the ability to give advice on the best “livelihood” to primordial creatures.[1]
- Divine Core of the Benevolent God (- Rank): A composite skill that contains Divinity. The Proper Human History Kukulkan would have the highest rank, but Lostbelt Kukulkan has no Divinity. The person herself tilts her head and asks “What would a god do?”, so it’s doubtful that she even understands what the concept of a “god” is to humans.[1]
- Water of Life (- Rank): A skill owned by Proper Human History Kukulkan. She can manipulate the principles and the origin of lifeforms through water. Water is one of the domains from the legend that the world was created from the skies and the waters (seas). On a waterside field, many ability improvements could be expected, but Lostbelt Kukulkan lacks this.[1]
- Existence Outside the Domain (- Rank): Already mourned for, as the Earth is her home.[1]
Personal Skills
- Charisma of the Jade (A+ Rank): A Skill that combines the “water” and “wind” attributes that are held by Proper Human History Kukulkan. A subspecies Charisma skill. Wherever Kukulkan is, accidental crit-based deaths will vanish.[1]
- We are the Winged Serpent (EX Rank): In Proper Human History, Kukulkan is Qʼuqʼumatz, and also Quetzalcoatl. These gods have a name meaning “feathered” or “winged serpent” in each of their respective languages, and both the origin and nature of their Divinity is identical. Kukulkan, a god who is spoken of as one beyond the mythological systems of the local areas, can temporarily use the abilities of the other Feathered Serpents from other myths. This is an imaginative interpretation of such Authorities.[1]
- Golden Sea of Trees Travelogue (EX Rank): The dreams of all life that lived within the Sea of Trees, filled with a yearning for the endless skies, the immortal sun, and empty space. Kukulkan’s combat mode is designed to be the representation of the apex of a single World, although it is closed. It’s like she’s saying “Now I’m motivated!”, and then her motivation goes up, but at Kukulkan’s level, it’s not just her mentality, but the energy acceleration efficiency of the entire space around her that rises. “Seems like time and space are getting motivated too!” she really does say it.[1]
Noble Phantasm
Kinich Ahau Impact overpowering U-Olga Marie.
Kukulkan's Noble Phantasm is Kinich Ahau Impact. It gathers all the Magical Energy that runs through the Spirit Veins of an entire continent and outputs it as “Kukulkan”. While similar to a certain True Ancestor's "Luminous Body," Kukulkan is incapable of utilizing abilities related to the Inner Sea of the Planet, such as Event Storage.[1] Furthermore, despite being composed of plants, fire, and minerals, its physical characteristics like its internal pressure, temperature, or density, match that of the Sun. Its output is superior to that of U-Olga Marie, as shown when it overpowered her, sent her flying down to the ground, and shattered the Storm Border, all in a single strike.[7] U-Olga Maire spent so much energy trying to block it that she needed to rest right after getting hit by it, leaving her exposed enough for Tezcatlipoca to ambush her and gouge out her heart.[14] On the other hand, U-Olga Marie doesn't consider this a loss to Kukulkan, claiming that she had been focused solely on defense to protect the Storm Border during their fight. She sulks saying that she didn't even use her own Noble Phantasm.[20] On a separate occasion, Kukulkan used her Noble Phantasm to defeat Ereshkigal Alter. Her Noble Phantasm obliterated a six-legged Gugalanna summoned by Ereshkigal's Boundless Gorge - Heavenly Echo Shrine. After being defeated, Ereshkigal Alter claimed that Kukulkan not only sneak attacked her, but lured her into fighting mid-air. Ereshkigal is an earth goddess who fights firmly planted on the ground. Due to this, she claims that if they ever have a rematch, she will send off Kukulkan with a Noble Phantasm that surpasses Gugalanna and Meslamtaea.[3]
Other Capabilities
- Kukulkan is unable to track Daybit Sem Void because his heartbeat is completely inaudible to Malla's ears.[15]
- Kukulkan can eat over ten times her mass in corn. She greatly enjoys it, claiming she has been missing out on it for a hundred thousand years.[3]
Forms and Alternate Versions
ORT Kukulkan
ORT Kukulkan (オルト・ククルカン, Oruto Kukurukan?) is the name of Kukulkan's third Ascension, the form she takes when she shines as the Heart of ORT (ORTの心臓, Oruto no Shinzō?).[1][6][17] In other words, it is her Archetype: ORT (アーキタイプ:ORT?) form.[citation needed]
Personality
Her Lostbelt King counterpart (first and second Ascensions) was committed to preserving Mictlan from all foreign threats, specially those attempting to terminate ORT, its foundation. Due to this, she always tried to adhere to her role as Archetype: Mictlan, Malla's envoy. However, as Archetype: ORT, she fully internalizes the concept of godhood, becoming fully free to make her own choices and inspire awe to all deinos.[6][17]
Abilities
When Kukulkan reaches her third Ascension, she claims that her appearance is the newest human model created within the Sun when she acquired their knowledge. She considers herself the ultimate organism, one who possesses both the ideal power and the ideal speed.[6]
- Combat
Kukulkan was powerful enough to block Grand Foreigner ORT Xibalba's Solar Storm and defeat it, annihilating it.[17]
Kukulkan can fly at supersonic speed without breaking the Sound barrierWP.[17] In Chaldea, Melusine challenges Kukulkan to an aerial battle, claiming she can go all out against her. Kukulkan accepts the fight, claiming she won't lose.[6]
- Personal Skills
- Archetype (ORT Rank): In the World of Fate/Grand Order, the origins of the Latin American gods is said to be “Fibre-type Information Storage Bodies that were attached to a meteorite, crashed on Earth, and then fused with the Earth’s plantlife”. The plants grew far and wide, and eventually became a singular network that covered 70% of the Earth’s landmasses. This Kukulkan is the latest type of those Information Storage Bodies. She is a lifeform created (designed) by fusing their interstellar alien species with ORT’s heart, which was used to keep the South American Lostbelt alive. She possesses the characteristics of both “a Existence Outside the Domain” and those of a “Cerebral Corpus of the Lands”.[1]
- Noble Phantasm
ORT Kukulkan's Noble Phantasm is called Last Sun Xibalba, a variant of Kinich Ahau Impact.[1] According to her Voice Lines, it is activated by deploying her Interstellar Travel Engine (星間航行エンジン?), which releases a Galactica Supercell.[6] In the gameplay fight against Grand Foreigner ORT Xibalba, the Kukulkan NPC uses her Noble Phantasm and deals damage to it, implying she attacked him with it in the story as well.[17]
- Sun Detonation
During the South American Lostbelt, ORT Kukulkan was able to permanently kill ORT by destroying its Heart: Interstellar Travel Engine (星間航行心臓?), the Sun in Mictlan. Doing so not only destroyed Star Cell ORT, but all the Fantasy Trees it had created across the Lostbelt with its Reality Marble.[17]
While this attack resembles Last Sun Xibalba, it hasn't been confirmed whether they are, in fact, the same ability. For example, Kukulkan's NPC's assistance during the ORT Xibalba fight would suggest Kukulkan had already used her Noble Phantasm previously without detonating the Sun, making the two abilities different. On the other hand, Kukulkan's Voice Lines reference a deplyment of her Interstellar Travel Engine (星間航行エンジン?) when she activates Last Sun Xibalba, similar to when she referenced activating her Heart: Interstellar Travel Engine (星間航行心臓?) against ORT.[citation needed]
- Other Capabilities
- During her Valentine event, ORT Kukulkan compressed and refined three million tons of cacao inside a Solar Storm to create a transmitter capable of warpping space and time.[21]
