A Prime Species (霊長, Reichō?), or Primate (プライミッツ, Puraimittsu?), is the dominant species of a World. They are those who have achieved the Seat of Primacy (霊長の座, Reichō no Za?, lit: "Seat of the Primate") and become representatives of their planet.[1]

Characteristics

"Prime Species" refers simply to a world's dominant species, and does not necessarily imply the intelligence to form civilization.[2] Meanwhile, the various "subordinate" species, those below the Primates, are known as Lower Animals (下等動物, Katō Dōbutsu?). It is possible for the reigning Prime Species to lose the Seat of Primacy, as when humans took over from the gods;[3] however, it is also possible for a world to support multiple coexisting Prime Species.[2]

Humanity is the Prime Species within modern day Proper Human History. Within certain worlds divergent from Proper History like the British Lostbelt and South American Lostbelt, humans do not reign as the Prime Species.[4][5]

Tamamo Vitch Koyanskaya makes reference to forming her own Prime Species Ecosphere (霊長類圏, Reichōruiken?) in terms of manifesting her Reality Marble, the Tunguska Special Territory, over the real world.[6] However, once she does manifest it, it is instead called an Anti-Primate Lebensraum (非霊長生存圏, Hi-Reichō Seizonken?).[3] If given the time to properly establish upon the planet's surface, humanity would be reduced to Lower Animals. While humanity being threatened by complete extinction is a common endpoint deduced by Atlas, their removal from the Prime Species is rare.[3] However, even if humanity ceases to be the Prime Species, it will not necessarily devolve or die out immediately, and the timeline can continue without being pruned under the right circumstances.[7][8]

Primate Murder has a great advantage over Prime Species,[9] giving it complete authority over killing humans.[10]

The presence of a Prime Species is necessary for an Archetype of Creation to manifest an Archetype: Celestial Body and develop into an Ultimate One. Similarly, it is also needed to ensure that a Next Generation's Archetype can reach outer space, at which point its role as a Prime Species is deemed completed and it is no longer considered as such.

"When you humans attained the Seat of Primacy, the fairies foresaw that the state of the planet would change, and accepted it. The planet alters its physical laws according to the beings that live on its surface. As such, the era that was brimming with arcana and magical energy began to decline gradually upon humans becoming the greatest power. Gods, nature in the possession of personalities, became mere natural phenomena, and the ether in the air dispersed. The passing of Solomon, the King of Magecraft, accelerated this decline of the arcane.

And five hundred years ago, the Age of Gods finally came to an end. This planet became independent of nature, its ownership passed on to animals that could survive even outside of the natural cycle. Yes, to put it in simple terms, you humans. The intelligence... or the mentality that humans had acquired was directed towards illuminating the darkness of 'uncertain laws'.

As a result, the planet's rules were altered to become 'laws that best suit human life'. Both dragons and fairies are infringements of this rule. Because of that, they left to inhabit the Reverse Side of the World, ceding the surface to you. The only ones remaining are those who lacked the power to migrate or those who refused to accept their end. The former are harmless but the latter pose a grave threat to humans. These powerful individuals are able to survive despite the loss of the magical energy in the air, with the potential of being threats to mankind for centuries.

Anyway, you've become the representatives of this planet.

Q: Who would be stronger if Servants fought the 27 Ancestors?

Q: Who would be stronger if Servants fought the 27 Ancestors? Servant's also have superhuman battle ability, but the 27 Ancestors are also superhuman monsters.... I got the impression that ORT, Primate Murder, Altrouge Brunestud, and so on were obviously stronger than Servants.

A: All I can is they're both powerful.... They're both beings that live in mystery, so the only thing that can be said is that it all depends on the situation the moment it comes done to ""having the means of killing the other guy somehow". Among those, Earth rules won't even apply to ORT in the first place and Primate Murder has the super advantage against primates so they're in a league of their own, I suppose. Speaking of which, for one Primate Murder, seven Guardians would be the appropriate amount.

  24. [v] Notes - Hundred Subspecies [a-ray]

    Hundred Subspecies [a-ray]
Next generation primates that were created by the human species who used up all the planet's resource.
They were modeled after the living things that used to exist on the planet. They were modified/enhanced in order for them to survive on the corrupted planet. There were numerous branches to the A-rays, and they were categorized into about 100 major species. From 1 to 10 consists of only one type of A-rays each and not a mass.
Some carry the genes of humans and they look like us, but a large part of them are mix/evolved form of various creatures and primates.
