Minamoto-no-TametomoWP (源為朝WP?), Class Name Archer (アーチャー, Āchā?), is an Archer-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Identity
A robot created by the Minamoto clan from recycled Settsu Armor technology for the purpose of fighting oni and youkai. However the numbers of oni and youkai dropped dramatically before he was completed, and so he was put into storage while incomplete. He was awakened much later and finished with lesser technology from that later time, and used as a samurai warrior to battle armies. Due to the time between his sealing and unsealing, the engineer who finished Tametomo had to add a lot of original elements to his construction, and the source of the Settsu Armor technology was unknown to the people of the time.[1]
Historically Tametomo was born in 1139 to Minamoto-no-Tameyoshi and a prostitute. He was renowned for his military prowess from an early age, and his skill in archery exceeded even his ancestors. However, perhaps due to this, he had a falling out with his brothers and his father banished him to KyūshūWP. During his banishment he went by the name Chinzei Hachirō.[1]
When he he did not respond to the summons of the Imperial Court, his father was dismissed from his position of police and judicial chief. For his father's sake Tametomo led his forces to Kyoto and ended up getting dragged into the Hōgen rebellionWP, joining with his father on the Emperor's side. However their side lost; his father was executed and Tametomo was exiled to Izu ŌshimaWP.
In his exile Tametomo began to plunder nearby islands, which got the Imperial Court to send troops against him. Driven into a corner, Tametomo committed suicide -- he self-destructed.[1]
The Genji engineers who assembled Minamoto-no-Tametomo were a highly skilled group of craftsmen, gathered by Abe no Seimei.[2]

Role
Fate/Grand Order
Traum: Realm of the Thanatos Impulse
Summoned as a Servant of Specimen E, Tametomo is part of Kriemhild's army in the Traum Singularity, not having principles or critics between right or wrong he would normally have due to Specimen E's influence. He was used as a special weapon, being controlled by Kriemhild while using leylines to power him and his Noble Phatasm in the special towers made for him to shot from as fixed cannon, which was first time used to fire his Noble Phantasm at the retreating army of the Reinstatement Realm from the war against the Righteous Realm, aiming at Pope Johanna however Konstantine saved her from being shot, getting shot in the Spirit Core in the process. During the final war between the forces of what was left of the Righteous and Reinstatement Realms against the Revenge Realm, when he shot his Noble Phantasm, it was blocked by Siegfried's Balmung who was also unharmed by it, Tametomo couldn't understood it how it happened which caused him to get lose out of control, with him killing Caster who was monitoring him when the said Caster wanted to cut off his magical energy. Tametomo, now not restricted with how much magical energy he can use from the tower, shot his Noble Phantasm 3 times at once, however Siegfriend manage to blocked them, getting hit by only one but with not much of damage. When he understood how Siegfried's Noble Phantasm works and was about to fire again, Astolfo, blessed by Johanna before the fight, rushed and sacrifices himself to defeat Tametomo by using Trap of Argalia to disconnect Tametomo from the power source he stands on. With it, Tamenomo talks with Astolfo, praising him a bit for defeating him and when Astolfo reveals it was kinda cheated and that next time, he will defeat him fair and square, Tametomo replies that will not happen because he will be the victor before disappearing with Astolfo, both satisfied. Abilities
Minamoto-no-Tametomo is said to possess unrivaled skill, unmatched physical Strength, and a physique beyond Humanity. According to his father, Minamoto-no-Tameyoshi, Tametomo's skill with a bow and arrow surpassed all of his ancestors, and perhaps even all those after him as well. His bow was so sturdy that it couldn’t be drawn by the average person.[1] During the era of warfare, he was considered a person both out of his time and far from the Human World as well.[1][6] For all these reasons, Tametomo capabilities are far beyond that of any normal Servant.[4]

Personal Skills
- Chinzei Hachirou (A Rank): Another moniker given to Tametomo. After his rampage around Kyushu where he was exiled, he left behind numerous anecdotes. Using a massive bow that was unusable to the average person, killing several foes at once… he left behind several legends.[1]
- Indomitable Bowmanship (B Rank): After his defeat during the Hogen Rebellion, he had the sinews in his arm severed, but mysteriously recovered. One theory was that the hydraulic cables in his arms were simply replaced. No, that couldn’t be it.[1]
- Mechanical Archery (EX Rank): An example of the launch sequence as shown below. After detecting hostile reactions, a target is locked on and the automatic tracking system engages. Or, an arrow shot that can kill with maximum efficiency. It is undeniable archery.[1]

Noble Phantasm
Tametomo's Noble Phantasm is Instant Sinking Moonbow. The recreation of the anecdote where he split asunder and sunk a ship with a single arrow.[1][6] Interestingly, the arrow was not aimed at the ship, but rather, a single passenger. The reason he sank the entire ship is because he strove for maximum destructive power to ensure his target's death.[6] However, it is noted that because it was only a wooden ship, he wasn't taking it as seriously, so he’d prefer to give it his all now that he’s a Servant.[1]
Traum Heavy Bombardment Puppet
During the events of the Traum Singularity, Minamoto-no-Tametomo is employed by the Revenge Realm as a Heavy Bombardment Puppet Archer (極限砲撃用傀儡弓兵?).[6][7] He is stationed at the top of a tower as fixed cannon.[7] The tower is designed to suck up almost as much Magical Energy as a Holy Grail straight from the Leyline and supply it to Tametomo.[5] Each arrow he fires with his Noble Phantasm has the same destructive force as a Holy or demonic sword from the Age of Gods and travels faster than the Speed of soundWP.[7] Furthermore, its insane precision can hit through a gap the size of the eye of a needle in Constantine XI's Theodosios Constantinos from 21.3 kilometers away, destroying it completely and mortally wounding him.[6] However, there is trade-off to it.[7] His legs are restrained and locked to a stand that acts as the artillery battery.[6][7] Due to this, he is unable to move from his post and will die if he is rendered unable to receive a mana supply from his legs. Sherlock Holmes believes that he couldn't have pierced Constantine's defenses without such a severe trade-off.[7]
Based on Instant Sinking Moonbow's performance against Theodosios Constantinos, Charlemagne considers lashing Roland to a spear and use him as a human shield. However, they ultimately agree to have Siegfried block it with Balmung instead. While Tametomo isn't terribly surprised by a Servant being able to stop his arrow, he is puzzled by Siegfried's Armor of Fafnir enduring the tremendous energy liberated in the collision without taking a single scratch. In his own words, most swordfighters would have been annihilated by the incredible amount of Magical Energy packed into its shaft.[7]
The tower had only been intended to provide enough mana to fire one arrow at a time, however, once Tametomo witnesses Siegfried surviving it unscathed, he decides to remove that restriction by force. This allows him to split his arrow into three and fire them simultaenously. While Siegfried successfully blocks the first two with Balmung, he is forced to endure the final one. He is only able to slightly shift his body to avoid getting a fatal blow. Thanks to Armor of Fafnir, he survives the attack, however, unlike before, this time, he does take damage.[7]
Tametomo attacks Astolfo.
Astolfo blessed by Johanna is able to cross the 15.8 kilometers between Tametomo and him flying at the Speed of soundWP with Hippogriff. In this time, Tametomo fired hundreds of normal arrows to take him down. There were as many as a small army of Archers could manage at once. However, only a few of them managed to strike Astolfo in the intervals in which Hippogriff stops being intangible. While one of the arrows managed to damage his Spiritual Core, its effects were stave off by Johanna's miracle. This allowed Astolfo to deliver the final blow with Trap of Argalia, taking out Tametomo's legs and killing him in the process.[7]
