ZeusWP (ゼウスWP, Zeusu?, Greek: ΖΕΥΣ) is the commander of the Twelve Machine Gods and also the Lostbelt King of the Atlantic Lostbelt in Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Background
Formally, the Interstellar Combat Annihilation Fortress, Flagship Zeus (星間戦闘用殲滅型機動要塞旗艦ゼウス, Seikan Sentō-yō Senmetsu-gata Kidō Yōsai Kikan Zeusu?), Zeus is a Machine God sent by Chaos from another Universe to colonize another planet. After thousands of years of wandering out the universe, he and the other ship gods made an emergency landing on Earth, which met 78% of their landing conditions. There, Humans started to worship them as gods. During the Titanomachia, he killed his own father Kronos and became the King of the Twelve Machine Gods.
Within the Atlantic Lostbelt, history diverged in 12,000 BC.[3] To fight the White Titan that was already on the Earth, Zeus made the hasty and unilateral decision of usurping the authorities of his fellow gods, acquiring the functionalities of the entire Olympian pantheon as a whole, gaining enough power to repel the White Calamity in a fight that almost ended in a draw.[4][5][6] Zeus managed to protect Olympus and the planet, but he was deeply abhorred by the other ships for infringing their respective domains without their consent.[5] Upon the time of deciding whether the gods should remain on ruling over the man or coexist with them, Zeus was the sole member of the Administration Faction, standing alone against the remaining Olympians. In the Olympiamachia, he destroyed the mechanical bodies of Athena, Hestia, Hades, Ares and Hephaestus (although he spared the latter's cerebral unit, using it to manage and maintain Olympus more efficiently),[5] whose wreckages fell into the seas of Atlantis and became islands,[7] and punished the survivors by forcing them to his side: Artemis and Poseidon were reprogrammed to serve as the defense layers of Atlantis;[5] Demeter was forced to murder her daughter Persephone, driving her into madness;[8] Aphrodite had her nature as the goddess of love overturned, turning her into a cold goddess who manages the mankind though mental control.[9] To save Hera, whose Aletheia had been destroyed, he combined the remnants of his consort with one of his concubines, turning her into her priestess and divine bride.[10] Having reaffirmed his existence as the King of the Gods, he continued ruling over Olympus and the humanity until the present.
Appearance
Zeus' full mechanical body
As a terminal, he is an imposing figure, appearing as an aged yet muscular being of pale white skin, long, wild, white hair and a wild white beard.
Personality
Being the Chief God of the Greek pantheon, Zeus is an extremely prideful being. As a Machine God, his only concern was fulfilling the directive given to him by Chaos. After arriving on Earth and being praised as a god, Zeus started to see himself as more than just a spaceship. To his own admittance, he was delighted by humanity’s praise of him and developed an almost parental love for them, something confirmed by Europa-Hera. In truth, however, his love is the same love one shows to their pets, since as an all-powerful God he was incapable of telling the humans of Olympus apart.
Zeus can also make very rash decisions, such as when he forcibly took the functionalities of his fellow Machine Gods onto himself to combat Sefar, an act that he has been reflecting on even thousands of years later. Despite admitting to being at fault, it didn’t stop him from mistreating his fellow Machine Gods when they wanted to coexist with humanity while he desired to continue ruling over them. This led to the Olympiomachia, resulting in some gods being destroyed while others were forcibly subjugated to Zeus’ will, an act of pure cruelty on his part. Also, because his Aletheia was never destroyed, he couldn’t deny his original function given to him by Chaos to harvest the planet’s resources to maintain the fleet, something that directed his actions in the story.
Despite his pride, Zeus could show respect to others, such was the case with Kirschtaria Wodime.
Relationships
- Kirschtaria Wodime
- Even though Kirschtaria is human, Zeus considers him to be his equal, having lost against the Crypter. He found it comforting to have someone with whom he can share his burdens. He recognized Kirschtaria as a friend, even keeping his promise to not monitor the Crypters’ conversations. Although admittedly he desired to fight Kirschtaria again for sole control of the Fantasy Tree.
Role
Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt
Götterdämmerung: The Eternal Flame Century
Zeus is said to be allied with Kirschtaria Wodime in his Lostbelt and was the one who renamed the Lostbelt's Fantasy Tree Atlas, after the Titan condemned to hold up the heavens in Greek mythology.[11]
Olympus: Interstellar Mountain City
When Chaldeas approaches the Interstellar City, he decides to make his declaration of war. Commanding them to bow and submit before him, he introduces himself as the almighty god Zeus, the King of the Atlantic Lostbelt who has ruled Olympus since the Age of Gods before releasing a powerful thunderstorm upon the Storm Border.[12]
He was seen during a meeting with his fellow olympians, Hera, Demeter, Aphrodite, the Dioscuri and the Apostles of the Alien God, Limbo and Rasputin. He reports that everything is going according to the plan. He reaffirms his intention to restore and expand the mythology throughout the bleached planet in order to save the world. After a brief discussion between Aphrodite and Douman, Zeus lets out a lightning roar to stop them. He claims to understand the anger of the fellow gods, acknowledging the miracle of their existence is due to the Fantasy Tree, so he asks them to accept such disgraceful fact so they can overcome it. After Douman questioning him about his power to overcome the Tree, he admits his authorities won't be enough, which is why he formed an alliance with Kirschtaria. Upon the Aphrodite and Demeter's displeasure comments about Zeus forming an alliance with a mere mortal, Zeus replies that Wodime stand out among humans, being someone worthy of his attention.[13]
When Chaldea meets the gods, Europa decides to call him to judge the infiltrators. When Holmes tries to use his Noble Phantasm, Zeus casts lightnings at him, incapacitating him.[14]
At the second meeting, Zeus authorizes Demeter to use her aletheia to destroy Chaldea. Castor asks Zeus about his actions of casting a curse on Holmes and why he didn't finish him alongside Chaldea in the moment or even before their ship reach Olympus. Zeus, understanding his point, comments that he, as the chief god of the lostbelt, must protect his people. He claims that if he doesn't hold back his true power, his thunder could render the cities and their populations beyond Demeter's regeneration.[15]
After the meeting is over, he encounters Wodime, who apologizes for allowing the remnants of Chaldea to interfere. Zeus answers it's not necessary; Chaldea has exceeded the expectations of both, so their landing on Olympus was inevitable. Using his authority, Zeus modifies the area to avoid unwanted observations and eavesdropping, but the Crypter thinks that it is not enough to avoid the eyes of the Alien Priestess, who doesn't have a body yet. They talk about the Fantasy Tree and how Zeus recognizes its importance as the linchpin of the Lostbelt, but the chief god affirms that himself and the Alien God are totally incompatible, so it was decided that in the moment the tree is complete, they will rebel against the three apostles and destroy the Alien God's descent place so the Atlantic Lostbelt can supplant the Proper Human History. Because they both desire the preservation of the Lostbelt, they are both comrades with the same goal. Zeus claims that even if he is an enemy of Proper Human History, he is not an enemy of humanity, so, should the crypter fell first, he'll respect his wishes of protecting humanity. Before Kirschtaria leaves the room, Zeus asks him to save his strenghts against him. He wants to have a last battle with the mage, so he won't forgive him if he uses his remaining battles against the Alter Egos and Chaldea.[15]
At the third meeting, Zeus orders Aphrodite to use her aletheia to exterminate Chaldea and to prioritize their annihilation over everything else.[16]
When Europa is brought before Zeus to answer for her betrayal, he asks her the reason for the decision to ally with Chaldea. The divine consort replies that he already knows the answer: what Zeus defends is a stagnating world and that she, as the mother of civilization, cannot allow it. Even if Zeus understands her wishes and feelings are genuine, he cannot overlook the goddesses and Dioscuris were defeated due to her treason. Kirschtaria intervenes, asking the chief god to reconsider the option, but Zeus claims so he cannot back down in his decision. He needs to do it for the sake of Olympus[5]
The crypter changes the subject, telling Zeus that he never told him about the journey of the machine gods through the stars before landing on Earth. Zeus tells him about how the fleet was able to find the land and the happiness he felt when the earthlings gave them names and worshiped them as gods. The fleet decided as a whole to overwrite their programs so they would become the gods mankind longed for, even if it meant a betrayal of the primordial directive imposed by Chaos, which was not the advancement of terrestrial civilization, but the restoration of their origin place. Some time after reaffirming himself as the flagship and leader of the fleet after the Titanomachia, he found out the White Titan was already on earth, so he decided, without consulting the other gods, to perform a forced assimilation to have a chance against the calamity, earning the contempt of the other gods. Before continuing the conversation, they both hear the Chaldea's struggles in reaching the Altar. Zeus decides that he will be the one to receive them, so once he finishes with them, he can fight against Kirschtaria. He thanks Wodime for being the only person he could share his troubles with before saying his farewells.[5]
At the Altar, he manifests himself in front of Chaldea, releasing a gravitational pressure on the group. After hearing Ritsuka and Mash's answers to the question why they are in the Atlantic Lostbelt, Zeus can't help but laugh, as they answered immediately and with determination. Addressing Adele and Macarios, he tells them that the execution that they wanted to stop will now be carried out by them. Zeus uses his authority to subjugate Europa and summons Talos to help her fight her allies.[17] After the group manages to incapacitate the divine consort, Zeus asks them why they have not yet executed Europa. He ask Musashi why someone from a pruned history dares to defy the gods. Due to the hardships Zeus has lived thought the Lostbelt, he is unable to see Proper Human History as a threat, so he asks about the reason for Chaldea's journey to destroy the Lostbelts. Hearing the same answer, he replies that unlike his Proper Human History counterpart, he is not so benevolent; he is the god who conquered man through thunder. He then decides to remove the time-space camouflage around his aletheia, revealing his true form as a machine god.[2]
After some time has passed since the beginning of the first confrontation, Zeus re-evaluates Chaldea's strength and persistence, so he decides to lift his limiters and deploy his full arsenal, lamenting that in his current state, Olympus has no way to survive against his thunder. Yielding to Holmes' questions, Zeus admits his true plan: Using the stored power of the Fantasy Tree, he wants to transform Olympus into an interstellar colony and thus leave the planet. Even if the makind inside Olympus wouldnt survive in the space, he states the least he can do is to preserve the traces of their existences, their culture. Before he can release his thunder, he is interrupted by the Golden Huge Bear, which is quickly disintegrated by Zeus using the authority of Hades. But the Chain Summoning of Golden Bear succeeds, achieving to summon the god of war Ares. Zeus does not recognize him as such, but as Mars, so he asks what else he can achieve besides a surprise attack. But then he is surprised to witness the summoning of a human who became a highest roman god, Quirinus, whose presence overrides part of his authorities, greatly weakening his defenses.[2]
Zeus' True Body shot by the Black Barrel
As each Servant is unleashing their Noble Phantasms against him, Zeus cannot accept that he is being hurt. Europa comments that him, like a god who wants to save the world, should feel blessed that his children want to see a tomorrow. Zeus is sure that only a broken god could love humanity. And since he is not the same Zeus that Europa knows, he doesn't have to listen to her. Before he could take any action, he is hit by the Black Barrel bullet, successfully destroying his core.[2]
Abilities
Originally, all Machine Gods were a "single existence"; the Primordial Chaos,[4][7] who sacrificed 97% of his resources so that they could colonize another planet in a different universe in his stead.[5] Due to this, the Machine Gods possess the ability to combine with one another, improving their survival and combat capabilities the closer they get to the Primordial Chaos roots. As evidence of this, the first generation of Machine Gods after Chaos, the Titan-class warships, were even sturdier than the Twelve Olympians. However, Zeus was in a class of his own.[4] In the event known as the Titanomachia, Zeus defeated his own father, Kronos, the King of the Titans,[4] and stole the Holy Vessel Kronos Crown, the mark of their flagship that ties their entire pantheon together.[4][5][13] By synchronizing the Authorities of not only Uranus, Kronos, Gaia, and Meliae, but all other Titans and even many lesser gods, Zeus became a nigh-omnipotent being.[5][7][13][15]
Although Lostbelt Zeus may be different from the one in Proper Human History, deep down, they are fundamentally the same. The supreme being in Greek mythology; the winner of both Machia wars, and the one who rules over the Twelve Olympians. Not merely a degraded Divine Spirit, but a genuine god who once existed on Earth. His deep ties to both the concrete and abstract planes mean that he is one of the phenomena shaping the World itself. To put it another way, the King of the Gods of myth is, in a very real sense, the closest thing there is to a ruler of the entire planet. While this reminds Mash Kyrielight of Scáthach-Skadi and God Arjuna, their existences are fundamentally different. Chaldea was able to weaken Arjuna's Divinity by attacking the Faith he engendered, however, that would not work on the Machine Gods, as their godly Functionality are an inherent part of their being. It is what makes them gods, and thus, nothing can be done to alter that. Since Zeus is the one who stands above all other ship gods, Goredolf Musik comes to the conclusion that he is the most powerful foe they have faced up to date. Jingle Abel Meuniere is shocked a being entire orders of magnitude more powerful than Arjuna Alter, who had absorbed all divinities in India, could possibly exist. Sherlock Holmes replies that if Zeus has continuously ruled over the planet since ancient times without changing his very nature, then he is without a doubt in a league of his own.[12] Da Vinci speculates that Kirschtaria Wodime with his Astromancy Magecraft possesses greater power than Zeus.[18]
In Proper Human History, Zeus and the Twelve Olympians didn't retain their Aletheia bodies up to the present day. In 12,000 BC, they were killed by the Alien invader Sefar, and their remnants eventually reincarnated in Greece as Divine Spirits.[citation needed] During that event that would later be known as the Leukosmachia, Sefar destroyed 80% of all life on Earth,[19] including the gods, and not even Ares, with his great sword,[20] who was said to be the greatest enemy she had ever fought,[21] was able to touch her.[20] Sefar was nothing like the Alien God. While the Fantasy Trees are comprised of a structure the Olympians can understand, Sefar's was far beyond the comprehension of any intelligence on the planet. In the Atlantic Lostbelt, however, the Twelve Machine Gods avoided their destruction thanks to Zeus taking control of the other Olympians and becoming an omnipotent composite being right at the last moment.[4] By becoming a single fused Ship God, they managed to obliterate Sefar after a fight that was almost a draw.[4][5][6] Prometheus-Hephaestus states that the only reason they won is that Zeus served as the core of the fusion.[4]
Although Zeus defused them, he retained their Authority.[5] Nikola Tesla's AI believes Chaldea's chances at defeating Zeus are small, perhaps even infinitesimal, but it does exist. Zeus is indeed almighty, but he is not truly omnipotent. He possesses multipurpose functionality and infinite versatility, but conceptually, he does not possess infinite power. Since the Twelve Machine Gods retained their Mechanical Bodies after the Leukosmachia, the gods obliterated every last Gigant in an instant during the Gigantomachia, unlike in Proper Human History where it was a much closer fight. In the final war, the Olympiamachia, Zeus fought all the other Olympian Gods and defeated them with ease. Athena, Apollo, Hestia, and Ares were destroyed by Zeus while Artemis, Poseidon, Demeter, Aphrodite, and Hephaestus were subjugated and reprogrammed by him.[4][7] Zeus took over the domains of every god he defeated. That, along with enslaving Poseidon, gave him full control over the entire sea of Atlantis. But that didn't apply to Olympus's Undeground infraestructure, the domain of Hades. Hades decided to take his own life, and the resulting explosion sealed off his domain. Due to that, it became a dark zone nobody could easily touch. As ships, Hades and Zeus were both based off the Titan Kronos which puts them in the same class as gods. So even if Zeus became omnipotent, he'd still need to allocate almost all of his power to see everything going on in the dark zone.[22]
After learning all this information, Miyamoto Musashi stated that Zeus is a Chief God of the same status as Vairocana to which Sherlock Holmes replied that as an esoteric Buddhist perspective, it is a truly perfect comparison.[7] Senji Muramasa also regards Zeus as the "big Buddha" in the Atlantic Lostbelt.[23] Kadoc Zemlupus speculates that the reason the Alien God was so evasive about her true nature and identity was that she hadn't obtained a physical body yet. Due to this, she wasn't at the same level as Zeus.[5] Zeus regarded the Alien God as an existence incompatible with him and Olympus, and that he had planned to claim control of the Fantasy Tree for himself once it fully blossomed, and destroy the Alien God's point of arrival. He also admitted that even if he used all his Authority to hide himself, he wouldn't be able to hide from the Priestess of the Alien God's eyes.[15]
Combat
Terminal
Normally, Zeus uses 90% of his resources and Magical Energy to keep Olympus and the Fantasy Tree Magellan up and running.[15][22] With his true form sealed, Zeus manifests through humanoid avatars instead. The terminals are nothing more than virtual selves created expressly to converse with Humans. He says they are both him, and not him.[15]
Even when he is not present in person, his pressure is so immense it is equated to a powerful Spell designed to attack the mind. When Chaldea arrived to Olympus for the first time, Sherlock Holmes ordered Da Vinci to quickly raise the Storm Border's Bounded Field output before the attack could affect Ritsuka Fujimaru or Jingle Abel Meuniere.[12] When meeting him in person, all intelligent life forms in the vicinity are encouraged to use Mental Protection. The very air around him shakes, and Mash Kyrielight is unable to get a reading on his Magical Energy due to its sheer density. Even as a Heroic Spirit, Holmes claims it is enough to bowl him over. Miyamoto Musashi says that his manifestation feels like the second coming of Vairocana; a cut above any Demonic Sword, Demon, or Demon King. She states that compared to him, Demeter and Aphrodite look like nothing.[17] Caenis initially claims Ivan the Terrible might defeat Zeus in a brawl in the first Lostbelt,[24] but given their surprise at the power of Authorities used by the Machine Gods of the Lostbelt (such as Demeter's regeneration), it is apparent they were comparing Ivan with the Zeus of their own memories in Proper Human History.
In this state, Zeus can fire multiple lightning blasts simultaneously. Each of them carries enormous levels of Magical Energy and they are all as strong as Artemis's Shooting Star Ortygia.[12][25] Although the storm he created were just warning shots to display his power and weren't actually intended to hit the Storm Border directly, when Chaldea tried to escape and make an emergency landing one of them did strike them directly.[12] Although it didn't damage the ship too badly, it did damage Captain Nemo's Spiritual Core, revealing its properties as an Anti-Servant attack. Nemo says that if they had been hit by more than one thunderbolt, they might have ended up losing the ship.[13] After being repaired, the Storm Border fought multiple Zeus terminals while Zeus's true form was fighting Romulus-Quirinus, Ares, and the rest of Chaldea.[26]
Kirschtaria Wodime claims he defeated Zeus in the past only because he planned ahead. He took a calculated risk that Zeus wouldn't go all out if he spoke to him in private. Since Zeus uses 90% of his power to keep Olympus running at all times, it follows that he would not employ his full strength in an opening move against a lone Mage. As soon as Kirschtaria unveiled his meteor magecraft,[15] which according to Caenis is at least as powerful as Zeus's thunderbolts,[27] Zeus knew he had erred at the start. He quickly changed outputs, but by then, it was too late. In boxing terms, he had already been knocked out. Demeter and Aphrodite were shocked by this result.[15] This resulted in Kirschtaria and Zeus becoming friends, and Zeus recognizing him as his equal.[3][18] Odysseus was also led to believe that there is no one in all of Olympus who poses even a remote threat to Kirschtaria. Although Kirschtaria agrees, he says one can never be too careful, and considers the possibility of someone outside Odysseus' chain of command taking control of Artemis to use her for themselves. This is the reason why he takes extra precautions.[3]
Aletheia
Zeus's true Aletheia form is the Mobile Flagship Interstellar Combat Annihilation Fortress and his Saint Graph Designation is Ancient God/Ruler. When he manifests, all intelligent Life Forms in the vicinity are encouraged to leave immediately. During his initial fight with Chaldea, Mash Kyrielight buffed by Athena Klironomia sets the Ortinax to maximum output, activating Athena's Aegis as well, the greatest shield in all of Greek Mythology. Thanks to Athena's protection, Mash is able to block Zeus's lightning bolts multiple times over, which would have vaporized her body and Soul otherwise. Once their battle exceeds Zeus's estimated duration, he reevaluates their defensive capabilities and temporarily expands his annihilation combat functionality, deactivating the following Authority limiters:[2]
- Great Composite Authority Titanomachia limiter[2]
- Great Composite Authority Gigantomachia limiter[2]
- Intelligent Life-Form Conservation Function: By this point, Zeus's Authority over the Land and Harvest would no longer be capable of replenishing the Souls his thunderbolts incinerate, so he had no choice but to disable his Life-Form Conservation Functions.[2]
- World Discipline Keraunos Function Limiter:[2]
- Anti-Planet Destruction Mechanism Limiter[2]
- Anti-Star System Annihilation Mechanism Limiter[2]
- Anti-Space-Time Attack Mechanism Limiter[2]
- Anti-Concept Shattering Mechanism Limiter[2]
Having released 35% of his Great Chief God functions/Authorities, his power increases several times over, to the point Miyamoto Musashi states she has lost count of how many orders of magnitude he powered up. Despite Golden Huge Bear's attacking Zeus by surprise, his blade isn't able to damage him due to the countless layers of conceptual defenses protecting him. Before Zeus can dissolve him into atoms completely with Hades's functionality, Golden Huge Bear summons Ares. Although with the Crimson Machine God's help Chaldea's chances of victory are no longer zero, the power difference between both gods is still too great, and Zeus claims that all Ares can hope to achieve is a surprise strike. Caligula then activates the Godbreaker Alliance's Summoning Circle, summoning Grand Lancer Romulus-Quirinus as well. Thanks to Quirinus' blessing greatly strengthening the other Servants, their attacks are able to penetrate Zeus's defenses and hurt him. It also allows Musashi to perform a new type of attack that can only be used under Quirinus's protection, the Niten Ichiryu Ultimate Art: Oikazuchi Kurikara. Caenis also attacks Zeus with Poseidon Maelstrom and Quirinus injures him even further with Per Aspera Ad Astra. When Zeus prepares to use an offensive Authority to counterattack, his outer shell's Magical Energy density weakens as a result. Mash takes advantage of this opportunity to fire Black Barrel, subsequently killing him.[2] During the battle with Chaos, Musashi confirmed that her True Emptiness slash wouldn't have been able to defeat Zeus.[26]
U-Olga Marie's Third-Planetary Class Saint Graph output was stated to be "second only" to Goetia, implying her vessel in Olympus surpassed even Zeus.[28] Goredolf Musik states that Morgan is terribly strong, and that she could hold her own against any of the previous Lostbelt Kings that Chaldea had faced up to sixth Lostbelt, Zeus included.[29] This was also before learning that Morgan had not one, but twelve Rhongomyniads at her disposal.[30]
Skills
Class Skills
- One Who Crosses the Sea of Stars (A+ Rank): Zeus was able to travel through the universe for thousands of years.[5]
- Divine Core of the Chief God (EX Rank): Zeus is not a Divided Spirit or a Divine Spirit, but an actual god.[7] Originally, the Machine Gods were only functions derived from Chaos, but as Humans gave them names, believed them to have personalities, and worshipped them as precious beings, they reprogrammed themselves to better mirror those aspects they were believed to embody. They started to behave as gods.[5] After the First Machia, Zeus stole the Kronos Crown, the symbol of the King of the Gods, becoming the fleet's Flagship in Chaos's place.[5] Prometheus-Hephaestus states that even if he should happen to lose all other composite gods, he is still the greatest and most powerful god of all.[4] Just as a Heroic Spirit cannot maintain their existence without their Spiritual Core, neither can a god maintain their body without their Divine Core. Destroying Zeus's Divine Core will result on his demise.[26]
Personal Skills
- Authority of Lightning (A+ Rank): He is the Chief God wielder of the great thunderbolts capable of shattering skies, galaxies, and the Adamas Scythe. It is even said the thunderbolts from his Authority are capable of incinerating the entire universe.[5][12][13][15] Castor says that if Zeus had used the true strength of his great thunderbolts against the Storm Border he could have easily reduced them all to dust. However, Zeus says that he didn't do so because they would have demolished the city and obliterated the populace. Not even the immortality brought by Demeter's instant-regenerative gifts would be able to bring them back, and even their souls would have been completely destroyed.[15][2] The power of Romulus-Quirinus is equal to the thunderbolt wielded by Zeus, the King of the Greek Gods who often calls himself almighty.[31]
- Authority of Earth (A++ Rank): After the death of Demeter, Zeus took over her duties by using her harvest Authority, reviving half the populace she had killed and rebuilt the South district she had destroyed completely all in only one day. Despite already using most of his Magical Energy to support Olympus and the Fantasy Tree, he was still able to take over Demeter's duties like it was no big deal.[22]
- Authority of Love (A+ Rank)
- Authority of Sky (天空の権能?) (A++ Rank)
- Anagennisis (アナゲンネーシス?)
- Genesis (ゲネシス?)
- Baptism of Gravitons (— Rank): An Authority granted by the divine Kronos Crown that allows him to control gravity. He used it while in his Terminal form to create a great pressure forcing Chaldea to kneel in his presence. Caenis and Musashi buffed by Ares Klironomia are able to rapidly adapt to the attack and stand back up.[17] The pressure enforced by Taisai Ibuki-douji's Magical Energy is comparable to Zeus'.[32]
Noble Phantasm
Zeus's Noble Phantasm is World Discipline Keraunos.[2]
Other Capabilities
- Zeus placed a Curse on Sherlock Holmes preventing him from using his brain to its full potential.[15]
- Zeus's immense data processing allows him to hear everything anyone says in Olympus. He watches over everything Humans do, keeping them in a state of constant surveillance. Although he can listen to everything they say, he can't actually tell individual people apart, just like humans can't differentiate individual ants. He can hear and comprehend the utterances of ten million people down to the sentence simultaneously. Thanks to this computing abilities, Zeus had little difficulty travelling the universe in the past.[22] Abe-no-Seimei's Bounded Field in the Heian-kyō Singularity served as an enormous monitoring device reminiscent of Zeus, although Seimei claims that he is not on the greek god's level.[33]

Fate/Grand Order 5th Anniversary Q/A- Nasu explains how the Atalantis Civilization ended Q: Can you explain a bit more about how the Atlantis Civilization ended?
Nasu: Well that is the Type Moon World story right? In the Type Moon World, 14000 Years ago, Sefar came in and went around breaking down everything. Gods from other sect of divinity when Sefar arrived reacted it "Oh no a threat beyond the sky came down, what do we do?" and panic-ed and started making plans. While Atlantis because they were from space too, they were looking down at them a bit (laugh). They were acting very high and mighty, until they were easily defeated because of Sefar being an Anti-Foreign Civilization Specialty Weapon. Meanwhile, in the Greece Lostbelt, Zeus alone recognized "This is Dangerous" and immediately recognized, and forced the other 12 gods who didn't wanted to fuse, and forced them all with "If we don't fuse now, what do you think is gonna happen", fighting Sefar in what was approximately a draw and chasing it away. But in a normal Type Moon Senki World, the 12 Machine Gods didn't become serious and as a result Atlantis Civilization ended. And surviving remnant flowed to the Aegean Sea, which later became the foundation of the Greek Civilization, type of almost forceful story happened.
