Sigurd appears in the Saber Wars II event.[1][2][3][4][5]
Abilities
Sigurd, the Dragon-slayer Sword, is one of the two strongest swordfighters in the Space Shinkageryu alongside Warrior of Darkness MUNENORI. He is stated to be the oldest and strongest of all the Six Blades, making him stronger than Billy the Flash, Anastasia the Freezing Sword, Lancelot the Darkened Sword, Xiang Yu the Monstrous Sword, and Beni-enma.[3] As one of the most skilled Servants in the universe, Sigurd was one of the members in the Anti-Goddess Unit A Team that defeated Ashtart Origin two thousand years ago.[5] Ever since then, he has been searching fruitlessly for a truly worthy opponent.[4]
After defeating Ashtart Origin, he was "rewarded" with eternal life until she awakened again.[1]
Combat
When Sigurd met Space Ishtar, Calamity Jane, and Mysterious Heroine X, Sigurd revealed the secrets about Ishtar's past. Although Ishtar was still shaken up by said revelations, Sigurd did not give her any time to recover, and immediately attacked them.Something that isn't honorable according to Ishtar. In this state, their swordplay is no match for Sigurd's and he defeats all three of them. When Mysterious Heroine X fights Sigurd on her own, due to being a genuine dragonkin, she is strong enough to defeat him. After Sigurd has already gone down, X starts coughing blood, and says she wasn't as good as she hoped about dodging his attacks. He struck with such skill she didn't even realize he had destroyed her Spiritual Core.[4]
In addition, Sigurd has an ability called Galactic Ascalon Movement which applies the dragon trait to his enemies.
Noble Phantasm
Sigurd wields a Demonic Sword.
To defeat Ashtart Origin, they executed the Star Four Card,[1] a tactic which consisted on Sigurd using his demonic sword's Ten Suns form to obliterate her Spiritual Core while Calamity Jane was pinning her down, lthough Sigurd's own Saint Graph started crumbling after destroying her spirit core,[1][4] Although the Servantkind is a collective entity that is no greater threat to her than an insect colony would be to a Servant,[4] the Primordial Goddess accepted her defeat with her Saint Graph shattered and faded away.[1] Ashtart believes that it must have been |her good side's naivety holding her back.[4]
Forms and Alternate Versions
Disciple of Sigurd
The Disciples of Sigurd are robots cloned from Sigurd. They originally guarded the Dark Maana, but some of them were stolen away by Anastasia the Freezing Sword. When fighting in her icy planet, they can't fight as well due to the extremely low temperature.[2]
