The Fairies of the Beginning (はじまりの妖精, Hajimari no Yōsei?), also called the Six of the Beginning (はじまりのろくにん, Hajimari no Rokunin?), are six A-Ray Fairies tasked with the forging of Excalibur.
Profile
Background
Within the Proper Human History, the six Fairies performed their task to forge Excalibur in 12,000BC, allowing the rampaging Sefar to be defeated.
Lostbelt
Within the divergent history of the British Lostbelt, the six Fairies refused to perform their task out of sheer laziness, resulting in the destruction of the world and all living things.
They would instead become the founders of the six clans which would populate Fairy Britain.
Personality
Lostbelt
The Sub-Bells, like many other Fairies, were selfish and ungrateful. Rather than being content that Cernunnos had shown them mercy and let them live upon his body, they blamed him for their own laziness because he did not force them to forge Excalibur and resented that he could not make more land for them to live on; similarly, they hated his Priestess for insisting that they reflect and atone for their actions.
Proper Human History
Within the Proper Human History, the Sub-Bells were shown to be different than their counterparts in the Lostbelt and successfully completed their task of creating Excalibur to defeat the White Titan.
Role
Fate/Grand Order
Lostbelt 6: Avalon le Fae
It is learned that the Sub-Bells abandoned their statuses and became Fairies of the land. When they died, their corpses became the original Pilgrim's Bells that the Fairy of Paradise is meant to ring to fulfill her mission, though some were destroyed by the Calamities. The destroyed bells were replaced by the next generations of the Sub-Bells, who did the same as their predecessors and became bells when they died.[1]
Abilities
They are Sub-Bells, which is the term in the English Lostbelt for Great Mother and Great Father class fairies who have come to the surface to solve a problem or on a mission from the planet. As Great Mothers and Great Fathers, they are Divided Spirits of the Planet's soul, Elementals on par with True Ancestors.[2]
One of the six possesses the Organs of the Waste Heat of the Planet (星の排熱器官, Hoshi no Hainetsu Kikan?). Within the British Lostbelt, the Authority is eventually inherited by Wryneck and then Woodwose.
