Seigan-In (青岩院WP?) is a character appearing in Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Identity
Seigan-In was Nagao Kagetora's mother and a member of the Nagao clanWP.
Appearance
Seigan-In is depicted as an adult woman with long, white hair and red lipstick. She wears a white kimono with orange vegetal designs on the left side and skirt, as well as a red obi with golden floral decorations. Since most of her head is shaded, details about her face are unknown.
Personality
While apparently a modest woman, Seigan-In was obsessed with her child becoming the avatar of Bishamonten. Because of this obsession, she blames humans for distorting Nagao Kagetora, making her fail to achieve her purpose as a god of war. In consequence, she would choose to take the appearance of the Northern God of War in the Okehazama Singularity, so as to see her dream come true.
Despite Seigan-In loathing Kagetora's failure to reach divinity, she also seems to despise the way in which she is not human, going as far as to claim that her constant laughter drove both of her parents insane.

Seigan-In tells Nagao Tamekage that Bishamonten stood by her last night and entered her body. Tamekage is suprised by this and claims that their child soon to be born will save their family. Some time later, upon the birth of the child, Tamakage asks if it is a boy or a girl. Upon receiving the answer that is a girl, Tamakage he asks if there is anything wrong with her body, the vassal says there is nothing wrong with the girl or her mother but their conversation is interrupted by constant laughter.
Seigan-In is visited by Tamekage and is suprised that the newborn princess only laughs and smiles, not crying at all like a normal newborn baby. Seigan-In says that the princess has the face of a Buddha and must be the human incarnation of Bishamonten. Tamekage is scared by the baby demeanor and orders for her to be thrown away. Seigan-In intercedes at the decision and tells him that she is the child of Buddha. But even she is scared at how much she laughs, wondering if she is laughing at them, mother and father, asking the child to stop laughing.
According to Imagawa Yoshimoto, Seigan-In swallowed bonemeal from the Buddha before bearing her child. However, Imagawa himself questions the origins of said bonemeal.
