The unnamed Servant, self-proclaimed as being Richard I, is an unknown class Stray Servant appearing in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Identity
The Servant's real True Name is unknown.
It is implied, although not confirmed, that he may have been Richard I summoned as a Rider-class Servant in his Lionheart form. Rider Richard is described as "wrapped in fury and hostility, willing to commit any vice for victory", a "trampling tyrant, sparing no shred of what he has for the war's sake", who is just as capable as reaching his Lionheart form as his Saber self is by fulfilling the same conditions, and even if his acts made the Knights of the Round Table, his personal heroes, consider him their enemy, he would still go to war.[1]
Appearance
Richard's appearance has not been shown, but it is said his appearance is nothing like that of the real Richard I.[2]
Personality
Richard has not been detailed, but it is said his behavior is nothing like that of the real Richard I.[2]
Role
Fate/Grand Order
Camelot/Zero
Richard appears mysteriously during the conflict between the expeditionary force that had the Holy Grail of the Camelot Singularity and the citizens of the Holy Land. Summoning his False Crusaders, he captures the force and occupies the Holy Land.[2]
After the descent of the Lion King into the Singularity and the formation of the Knights of the Lion King, the Lion King advances into the Holy Land. They defeat the False Crusaders, but Richard proves much stronger. As Gawain ruminates over the sacrifice that will be needed to defeat Richard, Gareth, feeling a desire to die, is able to restrain Richard upon herself being skewered. Gawain then kills both Richard and his sister.[2]
Abilities
Richard is assessed as "demonically strong," Gawain declaring, "Even the Knights of the Round Table can't possibly defeat this devil without loss. A sacrifice of two... no, three of our own will be necessary."[2]
Richard possesses the ability to summon the False Crusaders (偽りの十字軍?), a force able to defeat the forces vying for the Holy Land. In comparison to the Knights of the Lion King, they are easily defeated.[2]
