Profile
Background
Michelangelo was a contemporary and friend of Leonardo da Vinci. One of his famous works was the Statue of DavidWP depicting David. He was not enshrined on the Throne of Heroes as a Heroic Spirit.[2]
Appearance
Personality
Michelangelo is described as a genius especially in the fields of sculpting, art and design.[2] In terms of fine arts, Leonardo considers Michelangelo as a companion who stood as "his/her" equal, possessing a natural genius not inferior to "his/her" own.[3] Leonardo had a special relationship with Michelangelo, described by Leonardo as "a lot more special compared to the others" and "I liked him. I don’t know if it was love though."[2]
Role
Fate/Grand Order
Michelangelo appears in Fate/Grand Order as a wandering wraith, Leonardo believing the irregularities of the singularity might have brought him there. Leonardo speculates Michelangelo's reason for wandering as a spirit might be "Maybe it’s because I died first? That his feelings stacked up. Then everything twisted, that kind." Leonardo says she is relieved that Michelangelo did not become a Heroic Spirit, so now his soul can rest in peace.[2]
