DagonWP (ダゴン?) is a Babylonian Divine Spirit appearing in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Background
Dagon is the Mesopotamian God of Distortion and the Sea, but he was originally the great earth god. Dagon was originally an agricultural god worshiped by the Sumerians, but later 'interpretations' and 'creations' of him as a sea-god perpetuated by various sources has turned him into a half-man, half-fish monster.

Within the singularity, he takes the appearance of a turtle known as the Elder (長老?). Rather than acknowledge the Taisui on which the island is situated, he pretends that the island is situated upon a larger turtle body, and the form of the elder is a smaller division of that supposed being. The small form is said to be similar to the Divided Spirit of a god, while the main body is asleep, or possibly deceased.
Appearance
Over time the belief in him has drastically changed, first having him appear as a half-man half-fish god and later distorting him further until he was nothing more than a sea monster.
Personality
While he denies his change, he knows that gods are made by the belief in them, and thus now wants to create a new circle of worship to revere him as the god he once was.
After he's defeated, he decides to poison all the world's waters as if he can't regain his original status, he might as well embrace his status as an evil god in his final actions.
