Abilities
Cupola is in actuality a ridiculously huge castle, and possesses a Magical Energy Reactor within her.[3] She is able to transform at will, making her arm gigantic to envelop a magus' hand and Mystic Code so the magus' spell destroyed their own hand.[1]
In terms of offensive power, Cupola can create repulsive force of out her hand and use compressed magical energy to augment the force of her hits. When in attack mode, she can open her back, releasing 10 threads with rings that go on Van-Fem's fingers, allowing him to control her through puppetry. One move he can make her do is his 11th Serenade, titled A Maiden's Sigh, which, when underwater, has Cupola release a burst of bubbles and drill kick through supercavitationWP of the water.[3] Another move he can make her use is the 15th Serenade, titled Siren's Lament, which sprouts additional mouths on Cupola, that create sound waves by singing. The sound waves defy the laws of physics and cuts apart their targets, Zagreus is able to neutralize the attack with his Mystic Eyes, but lost three eyes in the process.[4]
Due to Van-Fem's poor compatibility with human foundations, he is unable to use his magecraft, however as his seven Demonic Castles were creations from back when he was still compatible, they can use the magecraft he studied if they have access to his Magic Circuits. By taking control of Van-Fem with her strings to act as the puppet manipulator, Cupola is able to make Van-Fem cast his "Fantasia No. 17: Vermilion Tremor" spell. A two or three bar spell that resignifies seawater and turns it into blood to exert pressure on his opponent. While it does not use a lot of magical energy, the spell is incredibly powerful. It converted a large part of the Monaco sealine into a sea of blood, which began exerting enormous pressure on Zagreus, equal to the the pressure of the deep sea at 8000 meters depth. Van-Fem states that the pressure it exerts is enough to kill even powerful Phantasmal Species in just a few seconds. It was able to shatter Zagreus's divine steel exoskeleton he tried to form by using his authority of transformation and would have completely crushed Zagreus if he hadn't rearranged his insides like that of abyssal fishes which live in the deep sea.[4]
In order to transform into her full golem form, Cupola turns into a giant mass of invisible energy and uses nearby material to build her Demonic Castle form. The Croisière an Enfer begins disassembling starting from the parts closer to her energy form, and the pieces fuse with the energy, filling up her limbs and torso until she becomes a 100m tall humanoid mecha. In that form, Cupola is able to punch with power comparable to Gray's Rhongomyniad. Unlike Gray, Cupola is able to repeatably unleash those attacks.[5]
