He is last seen talking with Vucub, after finally learning the language. He explains that he and other Ocelomeh are not fighting for Izcalli, but for their city and for Mictlan. He wants to live in this city, wants to become smarter, to see children laugh and for that reason they will fight, not for God but for their world.
He attempts to break the altar holding the Sun of Mictlan in order for it to leave. Vucub insults him for his lack of knowledge and he admonishes Vucub for being different than other Deinos but understands that he does it for his survival and only him ever saw the Ocelomeh as enemies. Vucub then removes the Sun and is ready to flee again in direction to Chichen Itza. He is glad to have one less worry and will be able to fight again. He gives Vucub the same skull that Tezcatlipoca gave Ritsuka Fujimaru and tells him that he is chosen by fate, telling him to give to the next champion when the time comes. Before leaving, Vucub asks him his name, the Ocelotl answers that he is the son of the king, Cuauhtémoc. Cuauhtémoc picks up his weapon and Vucub leaves the temple by flying in direction to Chichen Itza. Cuauhtémoc joins the fight against ORT alongside the other Ocelomeh.[1]
