Adonis is a human living in the British Lostbelt in Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Background
Adonis is a sickly and crippled human, Barghest found one day in the forest. She took him back to her manor in Manchester and starting caring for him. She soon fell in love, having taught herself to love those weaker than herself in a desperate bid to combat her curse and grief.[1]
Appearance
Personality
Adonis is very kind, comforting Barghest when she confided her woes to him.[1]
Role
Fate/Grand Order
Barghest unfortunately lost to her instincts one day and accidentally ate Adonis. Out of grief and self-loathing, she nearly succumbed to her curse. But Oberon, considering it too early for that to happen, sealed her memory and made her think Adonis was still alive. The fairies living in Manchester saw she seemed happy to have eaten a human and began imitating her by eating humans in secret.[1]
Fate/Grand Order From Lostbelt
Barghest gave into her instincts and ate Adonis despite physical weakness because she fell in love with him for his strong yet gentle heart. Adonis accepted his death by Barghest, saying he had nothing to fear if it is her.
Fae Round Table Domain: Avalon le Fae
Barghest spends the majority of the story thinking Adonis is alive, even wanting Ritsuka Fujimaru to meet him one day. She remembers the truth, however, when she goes to evacuate Manchester before the Great Calamity arrives and learns the fairies have been eating humans in secret to imitate her. This causes her to finally succumb to her curse and become the Calamity she was destined to be.[1]
