The World of Fate/stay night is the world line in which Kara no Kyoukai, Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia, Fate/Zero, Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files, Fate/school life, and other series take place, centering around the Fuyuki Holy Grail War.
Setting
Most works set within the World of Fate/stay night follow the same framework of events, but there may be subtle differences in different stories depending on the author. The conclusion of Fate/stay night varies upon player choice, so different works may avoid deciding which route happened, or they may create their own original setting based upon different elements of the routes.
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files was penned with the idea of it being a prequel in the same world as Fate/stay night, designed as a "dense story of Magecraft in exactly the same world, but with a slightly different atmospheric density due to Sanda Makoto's spice."[1] The Adventures of Lord El-Melloi II is set several years after both Case Files and stay night. It does not follow a specific route of Fate/stay night, instead taking place after an original route.[2] For example, Shirou Emiya followed Rin Tohsaka to London like in the Unlimited Blade Works route, but their relationship is left ambiguous. It is also set several years before Kara no Kyoukai: Future Gospel.[3]
Fate/school life follows a Heaven's Feel-style route.[4] While school life shares some similarities with Case Files, they are different world lines.[5]

[] Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song Animation Material - Kinoko and Takashi Q & A, p.35[T]
Q: Is Zelretch's name that well known?Q: Is Zelretch's name that well known?
Nasu: Old bloodlines teach their children his name, and even young families have heard that "in the Clock Tower the great magician who led the World of Magecraft into battle long ago is still alive". Those who rise to the rank of Cause may eventually hear of another Magician by the name of Yumina.
Takeuchi: Is Zelretch still a vampire in Fate worlds?
Nasu: No, but he's got something along the lines of immortality all the same.? <>

BC
Circa 960 BC
Death of Solomon the King.
The Age of Gods does with his death concludes.
The expression of Mystery — the thaumaturgical energy within the atmosphere — does with this as a threshold likewise truly come to thin; becoming as zero as of arriving upon the Occidental Calendar.
the Eve of AD
Birth of the wielder of the 1st Magic.
AD
00 AD
Come of the magi that yet remained from the Age of Gods, the establishment of the foundation of the Thaumaturgical Association.
A movement whereby 「even that Mystery will eventually vanish, let us preserve the past in the capacity of an academic discipline」.
However —
Circa 20 AD
Substantiation of the 5th Imaginary Aspect.
A new World begins.
It becomes a matter that Thaumaturgy and Mystery continue to persist in a different form.
The other magi of the Age of Gods who have occulted themselves as of the Wandering Sea and the Academy at Atlas
cannot endorse said movement, but maintain friendly relations of a recognition of fraternity as fellow students of Mystery.
This is in subsequence the Thaumaturgical Association.
Circa 20~100 AD
The Director and associates are diligently active.
Thanks to this, students of thaumaturgy grow in number, and the liveliness of the discipline once manifest as of the Age of Gods is reclaimed.
From approximately this point forth, Dead Apostles manifested as of the thaumaturgical world at frequency, deeming magi as their enemies, and so assailing them.
Circa 300 AD
Battle in the city as of the forests of the night; the Millennium Castle.
There occurred a violent clash between Crimson Moon and the Wizard Marshal Zelretch ... it is said.
Circa 300~500 AD
Upon the continent, in the countries of Western Europe, the influence of the Holy Church expands.
The Thaumaturgical Association declines.
The ravages of the battle against Crimson Moon are vast.
The winter of thaumaturgy.
The thaumaturgical cities established by the Association are in the dispute against the Holy Church shut down one by one.
On account that Crimson Moon was annihilated, Gransurg Blackmore does in the midst of despair accept annihilation.
Though he reared disciples, in a battle against an Executor who chanced upon him on a night of a blue Moon, he gracefully accepted defeat.
「It was upon a night like this that I encountered that person.
That being the case, perhaps I ought to die on such a night.」
Circa 500 AD
The True Ether (the 5th True Aspect) that remained as of the island of Britain vanishes.
A contingent of magi establish their headquarters upon the island of Britain.
The beginning of 『The Clock Tower』.
Circa 600~900 AD
The excavation of the Spirit Tomb Albion.
Advancing in their excavation of Britain's subterranea, the Clock Tower acquires a vast thaumaturgical asset.
As of the waning thaumaturgical world, the Clock Tower becomes as a light of hope, and numerous magi and individuals of means therein gather.
Circa 900 AD
Justeaze is born.
The Holy Maiden of the Einzberns.
The 3rd Magic communicated since a thousand years prior is at last substantiated.
Circa 1000 AD
At the Clock Tower, the prodigy Barthomelloi makes an entrance.
The basis of the Lords — the magi of the aristocratic class — is established.
Circa 1200 AD
The Clock Tower does in name and substance become as the center of the thaumaturgical world.
The institution of the system of Governorship is completed.
(Being that at this time, the Faculty of Policies was treated still as an academic faculty, there were twelve faculties.)
Circa 1400 AD
Zepia assumes posting as the Director of the Academy at Atlas.
Said posting subsequently persists unto present day.
Circa 1600 AD
The Faculty of Policies is in its manner of existence viewed as problematic, and its standing as an academic faculty is annulled.
Subsequently, it becomes as the Department of Policies, and the twelve academic faculties are amended to eleven.
Circa 1800 AD
England, the Industrial Revolution.
Though this was as a severe blow to the thaumaturgical world, escalation in the complexity of knowledge and technology did likewise confer certain benefits.
Being as unto the Holy Church — which had by pushing 「a singular worldview」 expanded its influence — it constituted an unparalleled attack, the Association even provided backing.
Contemporaneous, the internal conflict on the matter of whether to regard the Industrial Revolution with affirmation did subsequently become as the root cause of the dispute between the Aristocratic and Democratic Factions.
The genre of modern thaumaturgical theory could no longer be disregarded, and was appended to fill the slot of the lost twelfth faculty.
However, even that it had been appended in the capacity of a twelfth faculty, being as modern magecraft was itself still held in contempt, no governor (Lord) was at this stage yet assigned.
Circa 1994 AD
Lord El-Melloi dies in Japan to a trivial ritual known as the War for the Holy Grail.
Seriously?
Circa 2004 AD
In continuity, the 5th War for the Holy Grail initiates.
It is rumored that the 3rd Magic is reenacted.
Seriously!?
2015 AD
As of an Adjacent World, a Grand Order is issued.

The cemetery from Gray’s hometown.
The land protected by Bersac Blackmore.
Originally, the land was inhabited by a family of magi that manipulated spirits, and regarded birds as sacred. The name Blackmore is apparently drawn from a powerful Dead Apostle connected to this family. Though the Dead Apostle in question perished some two thousand years ago, the family took his name as a sign of respect for him. At this point, that family’s original name is no longer known.
At any rate, that family has now become one of gravekeepers, and though temporarily, they have been entrusted with the remains of King Arthur.ブラックモアの墓地【場所】

[] MOONLIGHT/LOSTROOM material - Encyclopedia: Lev Lainur [Person], p.12 Lev Lainur [Person]
Dream of the dead.
A mage dispatched to Chaldea by the Mage’s Association.
He is the mage who developed the Near-Future Observation Lens SHEBA, but destroyed Chaldea from the inside and deserted.
His true identity is a demon god dispatched by the King of Mages to this era, Flauros of the 72 Demon God Pillars. The early stage of FGO is also a story about chasing this traitor of a mage.
He is described as a cruel character who puts the orders of the King of Mages first, but that’s after awakening to the factors of the Demon God. Even after accepting the mission as a Demon God Pillar, the basic structure of the personality he had cultivated until then survived.
Lev’s over-serious personality that doesn’t allow wastefulness and praises hard work, has been passed down to the Demon God Flauros as well. Flauros hates humankind and looks down on it because he is “furious at their worthlessness."
By the way, on the time axis of Fate/stay night, because this person commits suicide, the plan of the King of Mages is not fulfilled.
- ↑ Fate/EXTRA Visual Fanbook - p.079
