Classes (クラス, Kurasu?) are designations given to Saint Graphs, especially those of Servants.
Characteristics
Main Classes
The seven standard Classes are the Three Knight (三騎士, Sankishi?) classes of Saber, Archer, Lancer, and the Four Cavalry (四騎, Shiki?) classes of Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker.
Extra Classes
Extra Classes (エクストラクラス, Ekusutora Kurasu?) are considered to normally be impossible Classes that are not properly counted among Proper Human History. Said to be weapons that should not be utilized by humanity, the excessive summoning of Extra Class Servants by Chaldea Security Organization makes them viewed as foreign to the Human Order unless they can demonstrate how the Extra Classes serve humanity.
Grand Classes
Grand Classes (グランド クラス, Gurando Kurasu?) are given only to the seven standard Classes, thus the Extra Classes can't have Grands, unless they were under Chaldea Security Organization's Grand Graph System.
