Zenjou

The Zenjou (禅城, Zenjō^?) family are a former magus family in Japan.

Characteristics

Formerly a practicing magus family some generations prior, the modern Zenjou are normal people with no affinity for magecraft. Still possessing a magus' pedigree in their bloodline, they are worthy of note in that respect.^[1]

As a result, both Rin and Sakura boast an excellent magus pedigree. 禅城【家名】遠坂葵の実家。聖杯戦争中、葵と凛はこの家に避難することになる。現在は魔導に縁のないごく平凡な家系だが、数世代前に魔術師の先祖を持っており、その血に流れる魔術の因子には特筆すべきものがあったという。そのため、彼女の2人の娘である凛と桜は、途方もない魔術的素養を秘めている。
