some issues with servant types
Why are lostbelt heroic spirits categorized with heroic spirits **(lostbelts)**. When the story makes no such distinctions, there are also a few misconceptions in regards of their recording methods like with Musashi, we have always categorized her as a servant, but once you're in the throne you're registered as a Heroic spirit.
You cannot be a heroic spirit without being in the throne, so there is absolutely no need for any such distinction. All lostbelt servants have been categorized as Heroic spirits which Includes servants like skadi and Arjuna alter, therefor they are Heroic spirits first and foremost and then their seperate categories such as divine spirits and what not. It makes sense to categorize them only as heroic spirits and not as heroic spirits (lostbelts) right?
- If I might, the claim that you can't be a Heroic Spirit without being in the Throne I don't believe is an assurance, considering Servants like Bunyan still being questionable and the Singularity version of Bedivere also not being a Canon Heroic Spirit, and if we added "(Lostbelt)" to Arjuna Alter or Scathach Skadi, that would imply that there are Proper History variants of these very beings which is simply not the case. Morgan and Musashi are probably the best representatives of this, since we have a verified proven version of the Male Proper History Version as well as the Still Living Lostbelt female version before she arrived in the Olympus Lostbelt. And Morgan in some fashion destroyed herself sending her memories of her life to her Lostbelt incarnation when her Proper History Version, summoned by Beryl Gut. Even if the Throne exists beyond the bounds of time and space, the fact that they're not Proper History Incarnations should still be stated, and classified as a Lostbelt variant should be an acceptable measure. Is this OK as far as you are concerned?
Apologies if this isn't the correct way to go about this and the sub-optimal conditions, EGGS, but I thought I should ask about this sooner rather than later.
Observed large number of conversions of redirects to articles yesterday UTC and continuing, by L00, and replacement of associated sections on related article with main-type link. Looking at similar cases on the wiki, the amount of transferred content (not all that much, relatively speaking) and circumstances around the article/subject, the switches seem somewhat contrary to previous approaches, perhaps a tad premature or of questionable necessity (sorry for difficulty in finding right words).
Basically, given the circumstances, I thought I should bring it up to you (in case assumptions about you likely seeing them were incorrect) and ask whether or not you were OK with them.
Sorry for being a bother.

- User in question resumed a little while ago. My reason for asking whether you were OK with their series of actions was because I thought I should check rather than counteracting based on assumptions about your intentions from past cases. It would be annoying for you if counteractions were taken which were inadvertently counter to your plans as well, but it would also be a headache if something which was against your plans grew bigger. 82.132.227.153 20:42, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

Proposal: Noble Phantasm Etymologies/Origins
Sorry to bother, but I would like to make a proposal for a small addition to Noble Phantasm pages.
In short, a small subsection (perhaps titled "Origin" or "Etymology" or whatever is an appropriate title) briefly explaining the real-life historical/mythological reference behind the NP name and/or its nature (if one exists), perhaps in a couple short dot points.
While NPs do have official descriptions from Materials, profiles, and so on, they are still only in-universe descriptions - explaining the NP within the context of Fate and Nasuverse lore, and more often than not provide little if any context as to the original reference behind their name/nature.
For a quick example, Lakshmi Bai's NP, Nahi Doongi, is an excerpt of a famous quote from the real-life figure, but nowhere in her materials is this mentioned. People unfamiliar with Indian history or Hindi seeing her through Fate for the first time would have no idea what her NP even means, let alone refers to.
I believe this would be a novel addition that would let wiki readers, who may be seeing these references for the first time through Fate, learn the historical/mythological context behind each NP, particularly those with esoteric origins in other foreign languages. Additionally, appending the true reference to the name would also be a validation of the name itself, helping discourage and prevent any erroneous misspellings and the like (I recall Space Ishtar's NP having one such error for a disturbingly long time before being corrected).
Of course this would be a case-by-case thing; it may not apply to more original NPs, like Rule Breaker, etc. InfinityStoned (talk) 11:31, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- We already leave links to Template:WP. This is the Type Moon Wiki. If the reader wants further Real Life knowledge about the characters/objects they can just click those links and read the articles instead.GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 12:55, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- For Servants and NPs with said articles, sure. But not every NP has an easy Wikipedia reference or page that you can just point to and say "go there to learn what it means", let alone on the article for the original Servant. Especially considering how many hoops the writers jump through to pull references or words from all over, the times they just make up stuff, or the fact that many NPs aren't even objects to begin with (ignoring the fact that many of said objects don't even have articles let alone references in Wikipedia anyway).
- God knows I've had to do several dives into dictionaries in several languages just to learn what a single NP was referencing. To give an example with a regular English NP, if just going to Wikipedia was enough, can you tell me where you can find "Blasted Tree" mentioned anywhere in Frankenstein's Wikipedia article? If anything, most NP names would just direct you to this very wiki instead of any Real Life information about them if you looked them up plain, which just compounds the problem. What I'm proposing is, I think at least, a pretty minor, harmless addition that would at least be an interesting quality-of-life novelty for interested readers, at least for the more obscure NPs. InfinityStoned (talk) 13:19, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Too much room for issues from original research. It starts off harmless, but then you get edit wars between two stubborn fools who think their interpretation of the mythological inspiration is correct. If you want to do something like a blog, I wouldn't be opposed to some kind of like "See more" link in the infobox or something, but I absolutely want to avoid any kind of large trivia draw anywhere in the body of the article. They are just cesspools, intended or not. EGGS (talk) 14:25, 16 June 2023 (UTC)

- Fair enough. While I am certain this would mostly be contained to clear-cut cases of translations, definitions or sources of quotations, I am well aware how bad wiki trivia sections get, and how ambiguous some NPs are with their origins. I suppose it would be a more productive course of action to just do the research myself and compile it all in an outside blog post (or however else you'd suggest). InfinityStoned (talk) 15:11, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, I find the idea interesting but then I'm thinking of the work involved in giving the correct French for bad French named NP like La Grondement Du Haine or how Andersen's NP has a German name and I get tired lol. The Lord Reader (talk) 14:08, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
Paper Moon Masters
Just to clarify, are the Paper Moon Masters going to be kept separate pages from the characters they are based on instead of put into tabs? Aren't their cases more like NPC Hakuno, Dead Face Hakuno, and Real Hakuno thus justifying sharing a tab? The Lord Reader (talk) 14:08, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
- They can be added to tab templates. I just wanted to get the stubs up before the main character pages started getting heavily edited. EGGS (talk) 21:33, 19 June 2023 (UTC)

Pictures in background section
Something that has been bothering me for a long time is that it seems nigh impossible include pictures in the Background section of wiki articles on characters without them ending up pushed back down into other sections and seemingly unfeasible to fix. Particularly notable examples I can think of are Shirou Emiya, Kiritsugu Emiya, Gray, and Irisviel von Einzbern. Positioning the picture to the left, adding {{-}} to keep the picture in one section, reducing the size, nothing seems to work. The worst thing is that some pages seem to work normally, like Rin Tohsaka and Illyasviel von Einzbern, but try as I might I can't figure out what it is that they do differently. I do not know if this is an issue of coding or what, so I figured it doesn't hurt to ask you if this is a problem that is solveable. The Lord Reader (talk) 12:58, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- It looks to be some sort of weird interaction with the character infobox and the non-servant np info box. I'm not really sure what the cause is currently. Nothing seems to be off with either template, but it looks to only happen if NP follows character. I'll have to see if it's a general multi-template issue, or just those two in particular. I guess the NP template could just be removed for now, or maybe just merged into the main infobox if it'll only cause issues. EGGS (talk) 18:09, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- Non-Servant NP is now ready to be combined with the main character template. Did it for the Shirou page. Let me know if you see any other similar conflicts on other pages with a different template. EGGS (talk) 18:17, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- Circling back on this, as I had not had the time yet to test it. Tried it with Gray, Irisviel, and Kiritsugu and it works! For now, the pages for Perseus and Chiron are what catch my eye, their pics are also displaced all the way down despite the different templates. The Lord Reader (talk) 03:32, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
- Looks like it's some weird interaction between multiple templates, but I can't seem to figure out the cause. Removing the Servant templates completely fixes it, but I don't think that template is the cause itself. There don't seem to be any paramaters that are off. I'll have to play with it more to figure it out. EGGS (talk) 03:45, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

- Nothing there screams egregious to me. As long as nobody is trying to push Tam Lin, minor variances are no big deal. Yeah, the enemy pages are a bit of a mess, but I had wanted to create a lot of them as well. It just needs cleanup and refinement based on a lore-approach rather than the game play-approach of the current pages. I'm kind of burnt out on TM at the moment, but I plan to pick away at them when I regain my interest. EGGS (talk) 14:15, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
Aesc
How do we handle Aesc's 3rd Ascension? Going by the profile, it seems like the first 2 ascensions are regular Tonelico and that the summer Morgan in the final ascension is just pure fan service/a cameo likely tied to Summer 8. Do we split Aesc's article in 2 parts, an Alternate Version for the Summer Saint Graph/final ascension in Morgan (Lostbelt) and everything else regarding Tonelico (ascensions 1 and 2) in Aesc? Is that good with you? Sorry for bothering you. Had to ask.GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 22:01, 30 July 2023 (UTC)

LB6 Localization
Thanks for clairifying the use of "Tam Lin" in the wiki. I wasn't sure whether we should use it or not. What about "Sub-Bells" and "Faeries"? I find the former extremely goofy. I would change all instances of Sub-Bells to A Ray/A Rei instead. As for Fae, I feel like it's arbitrarily used. Sometimes I see fairy, others I see fae. Like, "Fae Domain". What should we do? Same goes from Grimm vs Grimr, or even Aesc/Toneliko.GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 21:53, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- People seem to have adopted Aesc fairly widely, so that's fine. I think A-Ray (PHH) and A-Rei (LB) is the way it should be done, but I'd defer to a knowledgeable fan translator if there's a better way. Same thing with fairy and fae. I believe there are different words in Japanese, so it may be best to unify them as much as possible, barring certain exceptions. Reported post notifications feature!
Howdy! Your Wiki recently got a new update for Administrators and Thread Moderators to receive notifications whenever a discussions post, reply, article comment, or message wall post is reported. This effort is to help give mods and admins an easily accessible tool to help them be able to respond to rule-breaking posts quicker than previously (as it's very easy to forget to check the reported queue). Previously, only about 8% of reported posts across the platform are dealt with in a week time. We're hoping that this update can help inform teams of these issues as they happen, rather than them having to rely on just checking the queue at random. :)
If you have any questions, want to report any glitches, or need assistance with anything, feel free to shoot me a message on here or through Discord. Have a blessed day! Fenn (Talk) September 12, 2023, 8:45 PM (EST)

regarding a small request to add into the wiki CSS.
I am currently working on a much better way to display NP chants in the wiki. However, due to the restrictions put on the <infobox> template in the CSS, it always only appears to the Right. Could you please add these two snippets to the Wiki CSS so that I can complete the necessary changes required for the template.
.portable-infobox.pi-theme-center {
margin: auto; float: none;
}
.portable-infobox.pi-theme-left {
margin-right: 1em; float: left; clear: left;
}
I would be very thankful for your time.
If you wish to check the template i am working on, please check Template:Chant.

- Extremely sorry to bother you with a request once again, but could you please change
- .portable-infobox.pi-theme-left
- {
margin-right: 1em; float: left; clear: left;
} to
- .portable-infobox.pi-theme-left {
margin-right: 0.8em; padding: 0.2em; width: 350px; float: left; clear: left;
}
- I also ask you to please adjust the value of the width in the above given snippet of code after checking with the Template:Chant so as to make sure that NP chants do not spill out of wrap around while not interfering with any infobox that would normally be present on the right side of the screen. - .portable-infobox.pi-theme-left
- {
margin-right: 0.8em; padding: 0.2em; width: 350px; float: left; clear: left;
} to
- .portable-infobox.pi-theme-chant {
margin-right: 0.5em; padding: 0.2em; width: 450px; float: left; clear: left;
}
- while adding
.portable-infobox.pi-theme-left {
margin-right: 0.5em; float: left; clear: left;
}
- The values have been adjusted for what i believe to be the last time. Also, changed the name for the infobox theme so that the the theme name "left" can be used for only shifting an infobox to the left. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience. --Nikdracor1234 (Talk) 02:08, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
Editing series' pages for anti-piracy
Heyo, EGGS! I was wondering if we could edit the anime series' pages and add where the shows can be legally streamed? This is an effort we've been working on across the platform since animes sadly are.....uh........you know......"The World has truly entered a great pirate era". >.>
Obviously, we're hoping to help folks find safer and less harmful alternatives to swashbucklin' for their animes lol! Fenn (Talk) October 9, 2023, 9:01 PM (EST)
- I don't quite understand the point of this endeavor. The wiki is to inform about subjects, not to be a TV Guide. Informing of streaming platforms feels also like an exercise in futility to me when many of them may have the anime adaptations available only in some regions of the world and not others, which is not helpful when the wiki is supposed to reach a global audience, not to mention streaming platforms' tendency to quietly remove shows from their catalogue, meaning they are at risk of disappearing anyway. Even beyond that, the wiki also covers a lot of material untranslated or just plain unavailable in English, there is going to be piracy regardless, and it's not our responsibility to stop people from doing so, we aren't the internet police. The Lord Reader (talk) 17:19, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Question about users
Hello! It's not an accusation of rule breaking or anything, and I have no idea if you are able to do this, but I'm curious if you are able to see if edits from different accounts come from the same IP address. The discussion in Talk:Yamato Takeru makes me wonder if User:Renari, User:Wunder1701, and User:SelereSinclair are not in fact the same person making the same argument in as many days. The Lord Reader (talk) 01:28, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- Not to my knowledge. If they're logging in from the same IP, then any side accounts should be blocked if they do anything block-worthy. Otherwise, Fandom staff might have something like Checkuser privileges on Wikipedia. As long as they're not vote stacking or committing perpetual vandalism, I guess there's technically nothing wrong with using multiple accounts. It's just weird in that case. EGGS (talk) 02:18, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
Vortigern
There appears to be an edit war in the Vortigern article between User:OtherOuterHunter and an IP user. EDIT: the same user also made multiple reverts on the Medusa (Rider) and Morgan (Lostbelt) articles. The Lord Reader (talk) 03:54, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
Checking with regards to recent changes
Hello EGGS, I thought I should ask regarding the recent activity of a certain user (past few days before/and Nov 13th), part of which seems to have not been discussed with you or your colleagues beforehand and might run contrary to your intentions. What are your thoughts, if you are at liberty to and wish to disclose them? (PS Will also be sending message/question to Banksia to make sure the matter doesn't slip by either of you) 82.132.226.254 13:37, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Similar case and disregarding manner with this user to the above-mentioned user (also the one in the section immediately below and whom you talked with recently on a Talk page (from an unsigned question)). Given the volume of activity, I thought it would be prudent to bring this to you both sooner rather than later. 86.170.233.28 00:42, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
- I did not see a problem before, but it has certainly gotten concerning. Outright changing the page names for Tsuki no Sango characters without consulting anyone else felt like a step too far. The Lord Reader (talk) 21:10, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Concerning the Noble Phantasms missing from the list of known Noble Phantasms
In the subsection 'List of Known Noble Phantasms' of the Noble Phantasm page, quite a few Noble Phantasms such as Asurashreshtha, Alpha Castor, Beta Pollux, Aigis, Authentic Triumph and many more are missing. Could you please add them to it or bring this to light to someone who could? Many thanks. --User:Nikdracor1234 (User talk:Nikdracor1234) 06:32, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- You can feel free to add anything missing to it. Otherwise, it's up to whim of whoever feels like keeping templates up to date. It's very tedious, so they can be let go for a long time until someone is bored enough to do it. EGGS (talk) 13:23, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
Sudden NP Remaining?
Hi EGGS, I've been noticing that some NP names have been changed recently, and in most cases, that's totally fine with me (Heck, I did it twice).
Up until now, the renames have been done to for better spelling or meaning, which is great, but this time, all that has been done is change the formatting to the NA names. I'm not sure this is something that should be done, and I put the localized names as rows in the infoboxes of the respective NPs until now.
I'm most worried about Xiang Yu's NP, which has been moved from "Mountainous Power and Matchless Valor" to its NA name of "Mountainous Strength, Conquering Might". The editor claims these translations are synonymous and so he's just making things consistent, but I personally favor the original translation as it is more accurate to the Original yojijukugo. I believe wiki precedence agrees with me, and thus the edit is inconsistent. I have made a redirect to the original name so the wiki won't break.
This was also done to Himiko's NP, but I'm not as concerned with that one. Actually, I think keeping it as is is good!
Do you think I should revert/swap these edits back to what they used to be, or keep them as is?
Thanks!
PS: someone else has been making the ruby above NP names a lot smaller, which I don't think is necessary either. Any thoughts?
- NP names should go for accuracy over consistency. If you have knowledge of Japanese, feel free to undo any changes that are inaccurate. The Ruby in the templates can often look broken depending on the browser and device, so that might be necessary to fit it properly. EGGS (talk) 21:07, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Lemostr00's Conduct
I would like to report Lemostr00 regarding his conduct towards me which is frankly toxic. I have recently come back to the wiki and haven't done anything to personally draw his ire, nothing intentional anyway. When I posted a proposal on the Proposed changes pages (found here) regarding a change I would like to see regarding the use of Class Names on the wiki, he replied with a counterargument filled with passive-aggressive remarks and ableist insults. I understand that I have done somethings in the past one would get understandably annoyed at, but this is simply uncalled for, it also isn't the first time he acted like this towards me. I hope something can be done about this.--Appelmonkey (talk) 22:15, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
Ending It
So Lem and I are clearly not going to reach an agreement on the Class Names anytime soon. Feel free to read the thread and make any decision you want regarding the topic.--Appelmonkey (talk) 19:42, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
User AquaHoshino03
Can you please be more selective of the images you add? Images should be either informative about the topic of the section or represent major story beats. Much of what you upload seems arbitrary.
As you said, it really does seem to be their main issue. They are well-intentioned, but it seems they truly cannot grasp which images are useful to an article and which are completely unnecessary. They will upload pictures of particular moments where it would be legit be impossible to get what they represent without a written explanation, post manga images full of text and dialogue as if it serves as a substitute to the text already in the articles (when they don't run into the first issue), post gifs on unrelated moments that truly did not need to be animated, post pictures of truly irrelevant moments, etc. I think I will try to write to them and tell them what exactly the wiki looks for in pictures so I don't always need to delete their contributions for being irrelevant. --The Lord Reader (talk) 15:03, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
How are things around here?
Howdy, EGGS! It is good to see you! I just wanted to drop by and ask how you are doing and ask if there is anything I can do to help ya out with on the Wiki, like projects or updates or anything? :D
I hope you have a blessed day!

Quick Answers
Hey there, I wanted to reach out because (I believe, please let me know if I'm wrong!) you & the admin team here were contacted about having the Quick Answers tool released here on the TYPE MOON wiki. We had to pause the release for a bit to work on some improvements, but we are ready to release again. You should be seeing the Quick Answers dashboard pop up in the Admin Dashboard next week, where you & others will be able to edit, publish, & remove questions. If you all are finding it too much to handle, please let me know, & we can adjust how many questions you receive at a time as well as how long they stay in the dashboard before being auto-published (to give more time for review.) Feel free to ask any questions, too! pikushi ✧.* 20:19, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Looks like it's still absolute garbage that's way too early to roll out. Now it's basically "provide free labor to train our shitty AI on niche, specific lore or have more garbage festering on your wiki." Yet another reason why leaving this ever worsening cesspool is a great idea. EGGS (talk) 14:28, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
Quick question about updating content
Since you seem to be the highest ranking figure around I'd figure I asked about something that's been on my mind for awhile now. So who is, more or less, in charge of updating the List of Servants in Fate/Grand Order page and in a way that doesn't break the format on the first try? Because the reason I'm asking is that it needs to have several new Servants from the latest event added on.
How to Find Support for Your Wiki
Hello!
I’m Elsa, and I’m a Senior Community Manager here at Fandom. You may have seen the news that, as of April 2024, the Wiki Representative program has been retired. You can read more about that change here.
That’s led to changes in how a number of wikis on Fandom are directly supported through our new support setup. As a result, we no longer have an assigned point of contact for this wiki. We’ve loved having the chance to work with your wiki directly, and I can assure you that there are a lot of ways that you can still get help and support from the Fandom team.
If you need assistance with anything you might have contacted your Wiki Representative about, here are some ways you can reach out and stay informed about the Fandom platform moving forward:
- Join our Fandom Discord server. Not only can you discuss wiki issues directly with other editors and Fandom staff, but it’s also a great source of information about what’s happening on the Fandom platform.
- Browse our help pages or get in touch with other editors on the Community Central discussion forums.
- Check out Dev Wiki, a great source of custom and site-wide scripts with a group of technical editors who can also answer questions about technical subjects like custom code.
- We’ll be working on some other ways you may be able to find additional support and even mentorship opportunities as well.
For anything else, feel free to submit a help request via the Fandom Help Desk where we have a team of Customer Support experts who can give you a hand.
So while the specifics of our community support setup may have changed, we remain committed to supporting your wiki – so don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you may have.

Request and Note
Sorry to bother you, EGGS. Could you update the dump on Special:Statistics please?
Also, am unable to elaborate at the time of writing due to circumstances on my end (am at work and unwell, among other things), but I should note this in case there isn't another chance. Have been concerned due to certain user actions and activities over the past few months but have had trouble putting an explanation and thoughts into satisfactory words, and coupled with a certain other thing discovered being considered, the overall circumstances have left me somewhat alarmed and distressed.
Apologies for not explaining properly and rushing at this time.

- Thank you very much, EGGS. Sorry for the delays in explanation. Inept Wiki User (talk) 20:41, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- P.S. This is unrelated to the matter above, but I have just observed seemingly irregular categorization actions from anon 70.77.146.221, and thought I should let you know. Inept Wiki User (talk) 20:41, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
Removed background from images, could not figure out how to upload.
For the Artoria Pendragon (Saber) main page, I removed the background of the Heaven's Feel image of her in Rin's borrowed middle-school uniform and Saber in the white dress V2. Their backgrounds were either all white or gradient gray, either way, adding no value to the pictures, and they were perfect for renders. Unfortunately, I could not figure out how to add them to the gallery properly, so instead, I'm sharing them here. Of course, if anyone is willing to walk me through the process of uploading them properly, I'd be happy to do so. If you need to contact me, I can be reached at thereaperd@gmail.com or Discord @TheReaperD UserID: 297214413700857858.
- You uploaded an image that already existed (the middle school uniform one), while the white dress one you simply needed to go to the file page and choose the option "Upload a new version of this file" and you would have been able to replace the picture without having to know how to add it to the Gallery. This is the go-to option when you need to replace an existing image with a modified/improved version. --The Lord Reader (talk) 13:01, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

Unified naming convention for Watcher's Shadows
We have 3 Shadows confirmed by Narita's posts. Orion in 2016, Asclepius in 2019, and Icarus in 2024. Because of this wide gaps, they have been renamed inconsistently. Orion's page is Man (Watcher's Shadow), Asclepius' is Asclepius (Child), and Icarus is Icarus (Shadow). Shouldn't we have a unified pattern for these page titles?
*Fate/stay night - Fate Route Remake!*
Are you a fan of *Fate/stay night*? Do you believe the iconic **Fate Route** deserves a high-quality anime adaptation that does justice to its depth and legacy? Let’s make it happen together!
The *Fate/stay night* series has been a cornerstone of anime and visual novel culture. The **Fate Route**, which introduces the legendary hero Artoria Pendragon (Saber) and her deeply moving story, is the foundation of the entire saga. While the 2006 adaptation was good for its time and still holds up in many ways, it is often criticized and unfairly used as a weapon to slander the Fate Route and Saber herself.
Fans of *Unlimited Blade Works* and Rin Tohsaka frequently misrepresent the Fate Route, ignoring its thematic richness and character development. A remake by **Ufotable**, known for its faithful adaptations of *Unlimited Blade Works* and *Heaven’s Feel*, would not only address these criticisms but also showcase the true brilliance of the Fate Route. Such a remake would give the story the respect it deserves, silencing detractors and elevating its reputation within the fandom.
The Fate Route is much more than just the opening act of *Fate/stay night*. It’s a deeply emotional journey that explores themes of heroism, sacrifice, and the weight of dreams. At its heart is Saber, a noble and tragic figure whose story resonates with fans worldwide. Yet, Saber and the Fate Route are often dismissed or overshadowed due to the limitations of the 2006 adaptation, which couldn’t fully capture the route’s depth with its rushed pacing and outdated visuals.
Imagine seeing Saber’s struggles and victories animated with the same care and detail Ufotable brought to Rin and Sakura’s routes. Picture Shirou’s growth and his bond with Saber portrayed with the emotional weight they deserve. This remake isn’t just about correcting past mistakes—it’s about giving the Fate Route and Saber the chance to shine brighter than ever before, inspiring both longtime fans and newcomers.
When it comes to adapting complex narratives, **Ufotable** has set the gold standard. Their adaptations of *Unlimited Blade Works* and *Heaven’s Feel* brought out the best in those stories, earning universal acclaim for their stunning visuals, nuanced storytelling, and emotional impact. There’s no better studio to handle a Fate Route remake and restore its rightful place as the heart of the *Fate/stay night* series.
Furthermore, the anime community has seen what fan support can achieve. Campaigns like this have brought remakes and revivals of beloved stories to life, from *Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War* to *Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood*. By signing and sharing this petition, we can show **Aniplex** and **Ufotable** that there’s a passionate demand for a proper Fate Route adaptation—a demand they cannot ignore.
- Take Action Now**
The 2006 adaptation was a stepping stone, but it’s time for the Fate Route to reach its full potential. Let’s give Saber and Shirou the opportunity to be seen and understood in the way they were always meant to be. Let’s ensure the next generation of fans experiences this timeless story with the care and artistry it deserves.

Edit War
My edits on the Jaguar Man page were reverted by User:Lemostr00. Would you mind telling to knock it off or at least give a concrete reason when reverting edits since we don't end up in an edit war?
The wiki has a big problem with plagiarism, most pages are just copy-pastes of translations of material book sections of varying quality and tend to be filled with purple prose that work for a material book, but are really unnecessary for a wiki. I'd love to clean the up a bit, but I obviously can't do anything when someone keep reverting my edits solely out of spite.--Appelmonkey (talk) 14:31, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, a complete purge or heavy copy edit of any copy/pasted material is fine. These pages should not just be unedited in-game profiles. I would suggest editing section by section in different edits. That way if there’s contention to one part of one edit, it’s easier to revert the one instead of undoing everything. If they continue to revert any attempts at editing wholesale, direct them here. EGGS (talk) 15:46, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

The user Uchu40 keeps reverting my edits on the Hassan of Serenity page. I have already told him that material book translations need to be rewritten (having linked him to my previous post on your talk page) and invited him to contact me or make a post on the talk page of Serenity's talk page if he has any issues, instead he keeps reverting my edits. Could you send him a message? Cause he doesn't seem to want to listen to me.--Appelmonkey (talk) 08:22, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

Martha (Ruler)
Hi there. I've been trying to get a second opinion on this since I didn't want to just make a drastic chance without consulting anyone on this. How exactly are we to go about handling Ruler Martha now? Should we give Ruler Martha her own page?
Unlike most cases of seemingly only being a modified Saint Graph, she's summoned directly as a Ruler in that state in the Reckoning Singularity and when the 'LINK CLOSED' is enacted, she's effected but Rider Martha isn't as if they were separate characters.
As a comparison, when Jeanne d'Arc Alter got hit with 'LINK LOST' at the end of Inescapable Gehenna's story, her swimsuit version similarly did as well but in this case, they intentionally chose not to do it that way. -DistortedDestiny (talk) 18:55, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
- The swimsuit Servants are occasionally summoned as independent entities, but there's really no particular point when 95% of their appearances are just as costume swaps. Even Hokusai, who specifically gets split between her normal and swimsuit forms at the end of that summer even, just changes into the swimsuit in Imaginary Scramble. If you want to put a note at the end of the profile, that's fine, though pretty much all the swimsuit sections need a full rewrite anyway. EGGS (talk) 19:10, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
Metatron Jeanne reverts
Hello EGGS, I forgot to add a subject so I am doing that now and posting it again. I’m requesting assistance in resolving an ongoing content dispute on the Jeanne d’Arc (Metatron) page. I attempted to correct a translation issue involving the Japanese term 「堕落」 in her Second Ascension description. The term had been rendered as “corrupt,” but contextually it refers to spiritual or emotional decline—not moral failure. This aligns with Jeanne's portrayal in her third interlude and broader Fate canon as an incorruptible saint. My edit has been reverted multiple times by an anonymous IP user—once with a vague rationale, and again with no justification, and again now even when I opened a talk page to discuss it with them so we could come to an agreement. I’ve opened a discussion on the article’s talk page here: https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Metatron_Jeanne The edit history is here: https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Metatron_Jeanne?action=history The page in question is here: https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Metatron_Jeanne I’ve tried to follow wiki process and avoid edit warring, but at this point I would really appreciate a neutral admin review. Thank you for your time and help
Update: The IP has reverted again but did not restore the morally loaded language. The current phrasing is tolerable, and the core concern about calling Jeanne “corrupt” has been resolved. At this point, I’m content to leave the edit as is unless further disruption occurs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Follow-up: After consideration, I’ve gone ahead and re-applied the original improved version with the explanatory footnote. While the most egregious language was removed earlier, the current version was redundant (“lazy” and “quite slothful”) and lacked the context that helps clarify Jeanne’s state. A wiki exists to provide clarity, not just minimal accuracy, and the original version did exactly that—refining the translation, preserving canon integrity, and informing readers why this portrayal isn’t a moral failing on Jeanne’s part. There was no valid reason to keep it out. I’m still open to discussion, but I felt restoring the cleaner version better aligns with the wiki’s purpose.
hello there seems to be some problems in some of a servants like Constantine XI doesnt have a link to the traum singularity version it has red writing and it said page does not exsit or the the link to his ancestor which has the same issue , this is in other servants pages too and thank you!
