Some issues regarding servant types
There are some issues in regards to servant typing and how they are labeled.
For example why are lostbelt heroic spirits categorized with heroic spirits **(lostbelts)**. When the story makes no such distinctions, there are also a few misconceptions in regards of their recording methods like with Musashi, we have always categorized her as a servant, but once you're in the throne you're registered as a Heroic spirit.
You cannot be a heroic spirit without being in the throne, so there is absolutely no need for any such distinction. All lostbelt servants have been categorized as Heroic spirits which Includes servants like skadi and Arjuna alter, therefor they are Heroic spirits first and foremost and then their seperate categories such as divine spirits and what not. Shouldn't they just be heroic spirits and not (lostbelts) as per there not being any distinction?
Question on 11/04/20
Just a quick question about the Faker profile you made. Are you sure it's "B-" for mana? I ask this because the parameters on her page listed it as "B+", so I just want to check which is correct. Okay? Okay.
- Typo, you're right.

Thank you on the Einzbern.
Thank you for that Einzbern edit! I've been planning to do that for over a month, got the source and such, but it seemed like such a hurdle to integrate all the information in a concise way that I kept procrastinating. You putting all the info in that reference box was a smart move, and I thank you again for doing what I was too lazy to do.

Aight, no problem. The article is pretty outdated now so I thought to do my part in making it up to date. The Lord Reader (talk) 13:19, July 7, 2020 (UTC)
Magi
If a character is in a stable child category, you don't need to fill the parent category. The magi category divides them into their organizations, so those are stable ones. The Servant categories are numerous and not all encompassing, so all the Servants sit in the parent category. EGGS (talk) 21:02, August 18, 2020 (UTC)
Gratitude
Thank you for providing help with the images I wanted to upload to the wiki. I am not very good at this sort of thing, so any help is appreciated.
Spouses
I get that they aren't actually married and it was my intention to add that for all qualifying characters in tsukihime & fate, but I figured since Shirou & Zeus already had their lovers listed under "Spouses" on their pages, it was fine if I didn't do them all in one sitting.
- I believe Zeus' lovers are specifically listed because he had children with them, which adds to the relationships. I think your idea has some merit, but it would need to be discussed about the utility before going ahead with the edits, presumably with EGGS. It's one thing to list spouses and lovers a character had children with in the family section, but listing lovers with no indication of marital status or progeny in the family section seems iffy to me. It feels like listing their friends there. The Lord Reader (talk) 02:09, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Fair Enough, but what about Shirou Emiya? He has his lovers listed out. Should they just be removed?
- Huh, never noticed. I will remove it and give my reasoning. The Lord Reader (talk) 02:33, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hello got a question about Nero you see me and Trkasu where discussing if Hakuno should be considered her spouse with him asking if there's a reason why not. I tried answering the question and explaining why that's not possible, but it's getting nowhere so is it supposed to be canon? -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) -- 23:29 October 31 2024
Trojan War
Hello there. Sorry to bother you, but do you know of any confirmed dates involving the Trojan War or other greek legends such as Heracles? I think you said there was one for the Trojans if I remember correctly.GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 22:05, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello there can you protect following pages for admins only:TYPE-MOON Wiki,Template:News box,Forum:How did merlin hide saber's gender?,Dimension of Steam ,Knight of Owner,Astolfo,Calamity Jane,Leonardo da Vinci,Caenis,Sun Wukong,Talk:Astolfo,Rider of Black ,Leonardo da Vinci (Caster),Astolfo (Rider) and Neco-Arc and delete pages from Category:Candidates for deletion.Chaster Hatcher (talk) 01:02, February 12, 2022 (UTC)
- Is there a specific reason why those pages in particular should be protected? The Lord Reader (talk) 19:39, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- To prevent possible vandlisam, unnecesary edits and because pages are high traffic. Chaster Hatcher (talk) 20:10, February 12, 2022 (UTC)
- I looked at their History and many of the pages you mention really don't have that much vandalism? I really don't see the urgency or necessity to do this. Likewise, some of these pages are already protected. I would understand if there had been an uptick in vandalism recently, but there hasn't been, so this request puzzles me. Batch delete
I imported a batch delete function. It can be found under the "My Tools" section of the bottom of the page bar. Need to manually copy and paste all the file names (File:[Filename]) into a document and then run it, but seems a bit less tedious if you need to delete a bunch of stuff. Swirl of the Root edit
Hello. I would like to know why my last edits on the Root page were canceled. I think it's worth noting the fact that Shiki's third personality, in her own words, is the Root itself, because Manaka Sajyou has a similar mechanics of connecting with the Root, but Shiki, as mentioned earlier, has a more deep and direct connection.
I think this is important, because this statement from Shiki makes the Root not just a location, but a kind of character, which, in turn, allows to understand more the possibilities of the Root in the form of「Shiki Ryougi」
- The article is wrong and should have been changed a while back, especially as it gives no reference. Here's a better translation of what Void Shiki actually says:
|
« ...the Spiral of Origin. The place where all Causes mingle into a whirlpool. It is a place where everything and nothing exists. That, is my true self. Although I am connected to the Spiral of Origin, I am merely part of it. In other words, we are one and the same, aren't we? » |
| (Void Shiki.) |
- The emphasis is clearly different as she's just 'part' of the Root, not the Root itself.
- Void Shiki is not an avatar of the Root, she's connected to it because the Ryougis awakened an Origin and made it into a personality for a hollow shell of an human body. The connection to the Root is due to 'Nothing', the Origin that is Void Shiki, is the basis of the Root.
- Also, other things you did wrong was using Visual Edit, which messes up citations in articles, and the citation for your claim was not up to the wiki's standards.
The Lord Reader (talk) 17:49, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- Okay. thx for explaining! It's just that then it's not entirely clear that Shiki positions herself as part of the Root and at the same time calls herself the Root.
|
« ...All things pass through the great wheel, their natures and their histories—past, pres- ent, and future—are connected to it. It is thus a vast and empty place. It reflects what I am, in a way. I am connected to it, and I am a part of it as well. I am it. » |
| (Void Shiki) |
- I mean, in fact, all souls are somehow part of the Root, because they came from it. But in this case, Shiki implies, I believe, that she did not just come from the Root, but that she is part (like some sort of fragment) of the Root itself.
- And, if I understand correctly, her Origin Emptiness is precisely that very fragment of the Root, which, due to the manipulations of the Ryougi clan, became a person.
- Soo.. I think her words "I am it" reflect the truth: it really is the awakened Root
- Oh! And I find a thing in Grand Order about Void Shiki:
|
« ...Her origin can be traced back to way before the Ryougi family, the personality of the body that manifested 『 』. » |
| (NA Translation of the skill Connection to the Root: A) |
|
« Connection to the Root: A This was born of 『 』 and shall one day reach 『 』. Separate the two polarities, circling the four symbols, and assemble the eight diagrams. Her existence is the manifestation of the world's principles. ...} » |
| (NA Translation of the skill Connection to the Root: A) |
MrUnderlord (talk) 18:04, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- There's a reason I said 'correct translation', you are quoting the passage from the cokesato (cokesakto?) translation, Empty Boundaries, infamously notorious for outright changing stuff and meaning in the text they translate. The post I linked to was a reply to someone pointing out that exact thing out when quoting the passage you did: All I get out of cokesakto is some Mage the Awakening junk. Basically a bad translation is skewing your understanding of what Void Shiki is saying she is. Hence why I don't interpret the FGO skill translation as meaning what you think it means. The Lord Reader (talk) 21:19, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hmm.. with a translation from the author, yes, my mistake. But if we take even your quote given above, then still the meaning remains the same, although the emphasis is really on the fact that Shiki is part of the Root, and not the whole Root. But I think my message above clearly indicated what I personally perceive as part of the Root and, I believe, was really meant by it. Besides, your arguments don't refute it. And, it is worth noting that in your quote it is said that the Spiral of Origin is its true self, of which it is a part and because of which they can be considered the same.
- As for FGO, I checked three translations: translator Yandex, Google and with NA. In this particular case, the translation is done correctly (I believe the official translation from the client's NA can be trusted, although, indeed, there are cases when the original meaning is slightly different. I suppose it depends on the translator himself). So it is in this example that a quote from FGO can be considered as something that has weight.

- First translator:
○ Source connection: A It arises from「 」and follows「 」. It is the one that separates into two ceremonies, turns with four elephants, bundles bagua, and spreads the truth of the world. Ryogi refers to Onmyō (yin and yang) as shown in the Taiji-zu (picture of Taiji). Her name was derived from the formula of the formula, the formula of the formula god.
That is, the proof of the universal aspirator. For those with this skill, the usual parameters become meaningless.
A girl in a kimono with a leather jacket, the same person as both ceremonies. However, the personality is different. If both ceremonies are girls named "Shiki", this person is a woman named "Ryoshiki". One of the beginnings that goes back even further from the two ceremonies, the personality of the body itself that embodies「 」. Since it is not a good thing to go out into this world, I will continue to sleep in the ceremony from birth to death.
Shiki cannot perceive 'ryo-shiki' and 'ryo-shiki' does not replace shiki.
- Second translator:
○ Root connection: A It arises from「 」and follows「 」. It divides into two gis, rotates with the four elephants, bundles the eight trigrams, and lays out the principles of the world. Ryogi is the yin and yang shown in the Taiji map. Her name comes from the mathematical formula, the shikigami formula.
In other words, it is proof of an all-purpose wishing vessel. Normal parameters become meaningless to those who have this skill.
A girl in a kimono and a leather jacket, the same person as Ryoshiki. She has a different personality though. If Ryoshiki is a girl named Shiki, then this person is a woman named Ryoshiki. The personality of the body itself that embodies「 」, one of the beginnings that goes back even further from Ryogi. Since she is not allowed to appear in this world, she will continue to sleep in the ceremony from birth to death.
Shiki cannot perceive ``Ryo Ritual, nor does ``Ryo Ritual take the place of Shiki.
- NA version:
Connection to the Root: A This was born of 『 』 and shall one day reach 『 』. Separate the two polarities, circling the four symbols, and assemble the eight diagrams. Her existence is the manifestation of the world's principles. "Ryougi" means yin and yang in Taichi, "Shiki" is derived from mathematical formulas and the "shikigami."
In other words, the same qualities of the omnipotent wish granter itself. Normal parameters will become meaningless to those in possession of this skill.
The same "Ryougi Shiki" as the one wearing a leather jacket. However, her personality is different. If Ryougi Shiki is a girl named "Shiki," then this person is a woman named "Ryougi Shiki." Her origin can be traced back to way before the Ryougi family, the personality of the body that manifested 『 』. She is not an entity that should roam this world freely, so she will be asleep inside of Shiki from her birth to death.
"Ryougi Shiki" will never be known to Shiki, nor can "Ryougi Shiki" ever replace Shiki.
- We can observe that the meaning and the vast majority of words are almost identical in the two translations and in the NA version. Thus, I think, we have direct proof of what Shiki's third personality really is. I mean, one way or another, Shiki's third personality is the Root itself.

References
How do I mess with the references (either to add or modify them) properly?
- Go to this page. Generally, just going to source and copy pasting (correctly made) references on other pages do the trick, it avoids having to type them completely everytime yourself, and especially helps for references to side materials where you might not know the exact keywords to put in the appropriate reference. Unrelated, but do sign your posts with ~~~~ so people might know who is talking to them and when they posted. The Lord Reader (talk) 23:43, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
List of Spells
I edited the List of Spells page because I had watched UBW and Heaven's Feel and I had noticed some inconsistencies as I had actually seen use the afformentioned gems for the afformentioned purposes. You can check the anime if you don't beleive me.
- Turbofly
- I know where they come from (which is good because your edits don't correctly provide references, you can't say "it comes from X" without saying precisely where), this isn't the problem, the problem is that you have no way to determine which jewels Rin used, and yet you wrote this information as if you could. The visual novel and other literary sources actually spell out which type of gems she's using, but the anime adaptation generally don't, so unless it does explicitly (like Rin saying "I'm using a quartz"), you should abstain from adding it because it's unconfirmed information. You can't base your judgement on the color green to say Rin made a shield (gif on the wiki) out of emerald, do you know how many minerals besides emerald are green? Malachite, jade, turquoise, peridot, and many more. Unless Rin says "I made this shield out of emerald", and she doesn't, it has no business being there. It would be one thing if it were a scene from the VN so there is at least a supposition, but it's anime original. Same for Herc, the scene and jewel used in the VN and the anime are completely different, there is no basis to say they are both obsidian. It is obsidian in the visual novel and the effects are, as noted, bindings of light. The anime's scene has the scene be something completely different, some sort of gravity/prison, but more importantly, it is purple in color, whereas obsidian is notably black in color. There is no basis to modify the entire entry as if the anime translated the VN scene 1:1. So in conclusion, I am still gonna undo your edits, unless you can prove the gems used in the anime are the exact same as the VN. The Lord Reader (talk) 15:50, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

The user Appelmonkey keeps ruining galleries
The user User:Appelmonkey keeps ruining galleries descriptions b6 remov8ng the hyperlinks and inserting false information. He did remove the hyperlinks from the Don Quixote page a few days ago and today did the same with the Mordred page.
He doesn't seem to understand how the galleries work, how we have to reference each image and its source by using a hyperlink if possible. To not even talk about the false information like calling a craft essence illustration an alternate costume or not understanding why we describe each FGO servant illustration by class rather than the name (you just have to go to Elizabeth Báthory to see why it is done this way).
And of course, that is only the gallery aspect, there are multiple spelling mistakes and changes that are pointless and less precise to previous written entries.
Does this falls into vandalism? Because I am tired of fixing these changes.
- For starters, I wish to apologize for the stress I may have caused with some of my edits. I will fix the issues with the galleries and fix my spelling mistakes to the Mordred, Don Quixote, and Skill pages when I get home. In regards to Mordred's CE, that was an honest mistake on my part and I did not intent to lie. The image was used as a portrait (or whatever the correct term is) for Mordred in the story of a Phantom Thief event in FGO, so I assumed it was an alt costume as using CEs for portaits doesn't happen a lot (or at all outside the event as far as I know). However, I would have appriciated it if you tried to message me about this first.
- Additionally, the reason why I remove some bits of Skill descriptions is because they do not contribute to understanding how the Skill works. Making a joke about how Santa Attila riding on a sheep reminds one of the Hunnic warriors of old or a couple paragraphs waxing poetically about the power of a Noble Phantasm is a good way to spice up a source book, but its just useless clutter on a wiki such as this and I noticed that copypasting form sourcebook translations happens a lot on this wiki, so I hoped to change this to avoid plagiarism. And as for why I was using their real names instead of class names, was because Class Names are simply not used in FGO. In the context of Apocrypha, Mordred is known as Saber of Red, yes, but in FGO its just Mordred, and a lot, if not all, of FGO original Servants are only ever called by their True Name, not their class name, so its rather odd to use a name they are never called by or isn't relevant or non-exsistent in the media the images come from.--Appelmonkey (talk) 08:52, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies for addressing this late, I am very busy IRL for the weekend. User:Appelmonkey, while I understand your concerns over articles just copy pasting verbatim from the source with no rhyme or reason, leading to really bizarre tones in articles, Lemostr00 is right that you can't just change the wiki standard terms on your lonesome, at least not without asking why we do so. The Lord Reader (talk) 18:26, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
Appelmonkey still keep ruining the pages
I am not sure if you noticed, but he user User:Appelmonkey, keeps ruining the FGO servants pages, its not the first time I bring it up to moderation, but his changes are ruining the character pages in multiple levels, it isn't just me that have been fixing his changes. I already explained not only in the pages but also in the TYPE-MOON Wiki:Proposed changes#Appelmonkey's editing why things are done in certain way but he keeps editing changing content only because he wants or believe that should be done in that way.
His latest change was the page of Christopher Columbus, I already told him to not use the name of the characters in galleries because there is always the possibility of a new class variant, so using the name doesn't help. The changes in relationship that was already explained before and other problems with changing skill descriptions, noble phantasms and so on. And of course, with all the typos and not sourcing that you can imagine.
Could you please do something about? I do not want to waste my time fixing shit instead of adding it.
- If you want some sort of measure against them like a ban, say it plainly, but you will have to ask User:EGGS, I do not have the power to do anything to users. Best I can do is protect pages, but it would be useless in this instance. The Lord Reader (talk) 03:56, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
Inumaichihiyu
"Girl of the Moon" is one thing, but Inumaichihiyu is just incorrect. The katakana are right there. I don't understand the issue.--獅子天 (talk) 00:18, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
- This wiki is to give people information. Imagine someone read the Tsuki no Sango manga and then looked up the characters, what do you think they will feel that they can't find a character's name as it was in the manga, but have instead to go through hoops to find it's on the wiki under a different name. You're making this type of huge change to a character's page based on your say-so, when you could have used Talk and made your case to change it. The Lord Reader (talk) 05:17, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
GameCrusher55
Hey I thought about using those images of Shirou I just posted to add to Fate/Stay Night part of the Shirou Emiya wiki I was planning to add Saber and more scenes, but I still don’t know how to do it slideshow style. I was going to add those pictures there eventually so don’t be shocked if I try moving them to the Fate/Stay Night part. Or do you think putting the Shirou and Rin next to the adventures of El Melloi area would be better.
- Do not add them, they are promotional images. They aren't actual images from the story/plot, images that would illustrate the characters and the events they participate in. Promotional images and visual keys are no different from ads, they are promoting and advertising the story without using the characters in imaginary scenarios, so there is no reason to add them when they are mostly fictious. This promotional image for FGO has no bearing on the reality of the story, Mash, Artoria, and Jeanne did not spend time together in a Singularity with shining blue-white grass, therefore it would make no sense to put this image in their story paragraphs. Same here with the images you uploaded. Putting them in Adventures would be even worse when the image is not from it at all. In any case, promo images go in Appearances.
- As for slideshow, you can use Source Mode as it would allow you to see how slideshow looks like in wikitext/HTML and just copy paste its format, especially since few articles don't have slideshow galleries. And just generally, we encourage using Source Edit or Visual Editor - Source Mode, because Visual Edit is crap and can easily mess up articles.
- And once again, please categorize images you upload, it's not hard. The Lord Reader (talk) 15:03, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- How do you delete images? Also I'm trying to figure out how to put some recently uploaded images into the Shirou Emiya wiki, though I feel I should delete the first one.
- You can't, you don't have the privilege. Just write Delete to any image you wish deleted and someone in the wiki administration will take care of it...you do realize you only have to type the bracketed word and not the "nowiki" portions, right? Those are there so I don't actually put the template to delete on my own talk page.--The Lord Reader (talk) 07:30, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
I did not. Now I do. As for that image I'm probably going to put it back up later, I only want it down for a little bit.
Is there a reason that you put the photo album images of Shirou Emiya, instead of the clearer seperate images.
What type of category should I give to Video Game Crossover images?
Shirou Emiya, Rin Tohsaka, and Sakura Matou in "The Three Masters" Winning Drawing for Fate-Grand Order Contest by Kouzuki Kei.
Hey I'm a bit unsure if this picture qualify's for the wiki. It was illustrated by Kouzuki Kei a Fate Grand Order illustrator responsible for several craft essences, but I don't see any official channel for this image in the Type Moon Media. It was a winning illustration of a Fate/Grand Order Contest and is titled "The Three Masters"
- What type of category should I give to Video Game Crossover images? There's no category as of yet, it's something I have been thinking about for a while now since there are other crossover images on the wiki. Leave it as is, I will get to it eventually.
- Hey I'm a bit unsure if this picture qualify's for the wiki. It should be OK, we are a bit more lenient towards "official" "fanart" coming from the artists at Type-Moon so long as it sticks to Galleries. --The Lord Reader (talk) 03:25, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
Hey I was thinking that the Fate/Unlimited Codes section in Shirou Emiya could be moved between Fate/hollow ataraxia and Curtain Call, what do you think?
- This is not a good idea so don't do it. Firstly, this is a schema of placement of sections done across multiple articles, changing just Shirou would make no sense. But more importantly, secondly, it doesn't make much sense: FHA is the sequel to FSN so it makes sense it follows it, while Curtain Call is a sequel to the UBW route. F/UC, on the other hand, is a collection of non canon alternate ends from a standalone game. Even when the entries in Fate take place in separate timelines, there are still elements commun across them and details that jump between works/worlds: there is no such thing for F/UC. --The Lord Reader (talk) 02:57, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
I was wondering if you could take a look at the edit's I made to the Sakura wiki, I wasn't able to determine which artist's for Fate/Stay Night Tracing 15 Years illustrated for the Capcom other than the illustrations as well as the Nocom which feels like Noco. As for the comment above the reason I feel it might be good to put it their is because of it's recent reference in Adventure's of Lord El Melloi II which put's it before him going to the Clock Tower.
- I feel like if you don't know the artist of a picture, maybe don't upload it until you know for sure. It's not like there's a rush to add what are ultimately sanctioned fanart. And still no, we won't change whole page layout because of references. Not only that, the reference is not only not about Shirou, it's made clear that it is Ergo using divine vision to see past, future, and alternate pasts, not that F/UC literally happened in the mystery route of Adventures. Even less reason to change the page solely for that. --The Lord Reader (talk) 18:57, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
I recently edited a lot of pages for the Reality Marble user page the Adminstrator EGGS made, and I have some questions regarding certain topics that are considered to have Reality Marbles. The Moon Cell constantly creates Reality Marbles, and the "Reverse Side of the World" is considered by Da Vinci to be the Reality Marble of the World itself. As for the ORT the "Crystal Valley" is considered to be something like a Reality Marble and in the lostbelt Da Vinci states it is and has been adapted to become the "Sea of Fantasy Trees" to sustain itself. Does ORT(Lostbelt) qualify as a Reality Marble user (please take a look at these topics.)
I'm trying to decide between these four pictures to put in Angelica's gallery can you take a look and see which one would be best. You may see an image like them already inside it, but unlike the other's it has a knife belt. After that Angelica is mostly seen with a card belt.
- Third and fourth, full body pictures are preferred as much as possible. --The Lord Reader (talk) 21:18, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Would the first picture also be okay or are standard covers for chapters not okay, I'll be adding the third first.
- It has too much text cluttering it, but it is better than manga pages with bubbles of dialogue, so adding it is not really an issue. --The Lord Reader (talk) 21:29, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
What is this wiki's take on copyrighted images?
I feel like there should be some gifs in the Angelica Ainsworth page, but I can't find any online. I feel like I at least want to display the effect of the speeded up Noble Phantasms as they shoot straight through Shirou, and the falling can benefit from it too. I'm also thinking of adding another slideshow for the Gate of Babylon, fighting style. Can you tell me about your thoughts on this. Also maybe an image of Angelica crying for them to save her brother. That's all. Thank you for your hard work.
The edit you recently made involving the edit with two swords isn’t she bringing two swords but him countering with his own.
I'm presenting three pictures due to the fact that I don't know which one I should go with. I feel like the first is the best option. What do you think? Do you think I should include the other two in the Shirou (Miyu's World) wiki. I added more for her using the swords instead, I tried to remove any unnecessary body parts, can you please give me your opinion.
- What is this wiki's take on copyrighted images? They fall under Fair Use, but if need be, use the License bar to indicate it falls under Fair Use. It's easy to forget as I often do.
- I feel like the first is the best option It is the best one, the others are a bit too small. --The Lord Reader (talk) 17:50, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
I'm pretty much finished updating the Angelica Ainsworth page. I think I've covered all the basics and I feel it would be great to have it proof read and fact checked. I'm thinking the last thing it needs is a Development page, but I don't know how to go about it, can you look into it?
I just wanted to ask why yesterday you deleted in image from the Shirou Emiya Miyu World wiki page since you called it unnecessary. I don't understand why you thought that it seemed perfectly acceptable to me, and displayed good info, why would you deem it unnecessary.
- Once again, please sign your name. Two, you can't put a redlink of a deleted picture as a comment, it doesn't show up. Three, the gif was unecessary IMO because its only purpose was to show that Miyu Shirou can project Divine Constructs, which sure, but in that case, it really doesn't need a gif. Gifs are to show how something looks in movement, like a spell or a Noble Phantasm being activated. It didn't need to be a gif just to explain Miyu Shirou can project Divine Constructs, a simple still picture sufficed. And in this case, a still image showing Miyu Shirou projecting a Divine Construct already exists, making the gif even more redundant. And just generally Prillya's UBW explicitly works differently than regular UBW, its content didn't really need to be placed in that article and should have stayed on Miyu Shirou's page or went in the Miyu UBW section of the article. --The Lord Reader (talk) 19:41, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
I understand you don't want to put in the Unlimited Blade Works page, but don't you think it fulfilled its purpose by showing the information better than the other one, also this one show's two of the weapons instead of one. I was just referring to putting it on the Shirou Emiya Miyu World page, and maybe the two weapons, or Angelica's page, I understand if you don't want to put it in Unlimited Blade works due to the uniqueness of the situation. I still feel that this image better shows what happened compared to the other one, and I don't think your right about the gif or still image thing. --GameCrusher55 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- It doesn't need to "show what happened", it's providing illustration for one thing only: Miyu Shirou can project Divine Constructs. That's it, it doesn't need full animation, just show the weapon. To make an analogy, there isn't a need for gifs for every items in Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon, just images showing these items exist and are in the vault, and that's plenty. Same here. What, exactly, is added to being a gif that the still image doesn't fulfill? Nothing much, the page doesn't need to see in which circumstances it's projected, which is already covered in the article, nor how he does it, just that he can do it and what Divine Construct it was. GIFs are to help convey more info than still images would, and nothing in this case convinces me it needs to. --The Lord Reader (talk) 05:23, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
Can you please tell me why you reverted the edit's I made too Shirou Emiya (Fate/kaleid - Miyu's World). I would like to know what I did wrong or were their problems with the writing.--GameCrusher55 7/1/2024 (UTC)
Fate/Grand Order Thomas Edison's Interlude: Can I do it? Is where he state's that he can project Lord Camelot, it's also a good reference of what would happen if Rho Aias and Rule Breaker were to clash, the answer Rule Breaker can't break the very real wall Rho Aias creates. I know I have difficulty with References, I'm struggling to add it now, can you please not call my edit's bad, I am working hard. If you see a reference that I put that isn't sourced know that I am trying to be as factual as possible. As for Harpe please turn to the same information of where it is on Dengeki Hime 02/2006, Type-Moon Double Maniax - [Fate] Dream Battle - Archer vs Rider. The Unlimited Blade Works Route Weapons, are from when Shirou Traced Gilgamesh's Armory on Day 16. Please don't be rude.--GameCrusher55 10/16/2024 (UTC)
- I actually wasn't referring to you, my wording was confusing. While you edited with Visual Edit, which as said creates issues on pages (and I have said it to you one year ago right here to switch to Source because it makes edits easier, including referencing), as far as I could tell people already did edits in Visual mode this prior, the page had been messed up for a while. I was more expressing a general frustration at the entire Unconfirmed Projections section, from someone using <big> for the title of the section instead of a proper heading, no references at all in it and the one there was was a parenthesis note, and not even being placed correctly in the article in the way that makes sense for the reading experience. While you could have really given the reference to what you added, it was overall the least bad edit made in that section. Apologies for the confusion, I was once again being exasperated at the general bad state of the page, not you. --The Lord Reader (talk) 23:18, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
I am the one who wrote Unconfirmed Projections, it was one of my very first written articles for this Wikia, and I knew there were errors, but I was afraid if I touched it too much it would be removed like all the edits, I made on Shirou Emiya Concept and Creation. It was on the Wiki for two years, and nobody even touched it, so I was always worried that someone would have had a problem with it. I'm still afraid to put Shirou and Spartacus image anywhere on that Wikia from fear of it being taken down.--GameCrusher55 10/16/2024 (UTC)
- Then I'm sorry, but the edits were bad, that's just the truth of it. It's been two years, instead of being afraid, improve, be better, so that your edits are not reverted. Your fundamental problem is that you should have followed that old Internet adage before even first starting to edit: lurk more. Observe, study, get a lay of the land: see and watch how this wiki works, understand how edits are made and what a well-made page looks like, how references work and are made, how images are inserted and categorized. If you had taken the time to just see how it's done and understand how to do it yourself, you wouldn't have so much difficulty. Wiki editing is incredibly simple: see how a standard page is on the wiki, just copy what it does right. That's it, it's not sorcery. Your edits are mainly the result of someone who seems enthusiastic, but edits without understanding what is standard on the wiki, so your edits are riddled with easy mistakes that could have been avoided. Here's a simple example of how you really should take the time to understand the mechanics of wiki editing: you seem to think you need to write your name yourself and the date at the end of messaging to me, but you are misunderstanding how that works. I'm not writing down my name, the date, and the hour myself, I'm not a robot: there is a specific button to create an automatic signature when making a reply. If you had familiarized yourself with the wiki commands, you would know this very basic function. I don't want to play cop, I would very much like to focus on the edits I want to do, but I keep having to clean up after people because they keep making very simple errors that riddles the wiki with badly written text and lack of information sources, making it harder to read and understand as well as less informative when the wiki's whole purpose is to inform.
- (Besides understanding the very basic and simple ways this wiki works, one other thing you should probably do is pass your edits through basic spellcheck before hitting enter or at least re-read yourself, they frequently have a lot of grammatical errors. The most notable is that you seem to struggle writing words ending with an "s", either plural words or verb tenses, because your "s" frequently morph into s apostrophe ('s). "he state's" and "edit's" above for example, you aren't indicating possession or contraction, the apostrophe shouldn't be there at all.)
- If you don't do the improvements yourself on how you edit, you're gonna keep being frustrated and "afraid" of reverts when your edits should be common sense enough to need little to no correction. Also, PS: "I'm still afraid to put Shirou and Spartacus image anywhere on that Wikia from fear of it being taken down", well yeah of course it would be taken down since it already exists. Verifying if a picture isn't already on the wiki before uploading it is also a part of being familiar with it. --The Lord Reader (talk) 13:46, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
What is this wiki's take on Doujin works made by official artists of Type-Moon. I don't mean anything R-18, but other works such as Ishida Akira and Wada Arco. I've been reading their old works and wondering if it would be acceptable for them on the wiki, and if so, where would they go. Is it alright to put what is on these Doujinshi made by official artist's like Ishida Akira and Wada Arco on wiki's involving their characters like Shirou summoning Medea in one work, while Nameless talks about what he likes the Hakuno Kishinami's to wear. The sources are Fate/stay night Comic Battle Chapter 2 Gilgamesh vs. Rin - The Holy Grail War Fate/EXTRA Visual Fanbook Chapter 1. Throb! A Visual Fanbook Filled to the Brim with Master(No Lewds) GameCrusher55 (talk) 19:02, 30 October 2024 (UTC)GameCrusher55
- As long as they're by core staff or major contributors, it's fine. We don't need stuff from some minor artist who's only drawn a single Craft Essence, but anyone who's drawn a bunch of Servants would be fine. Arco Wada and Fate/GOMEMO is an example of how it should be done and categorized. Just need to make sure it's clear it's not a Type-Moon product. CHOCO has a bunch of Melusine stuff that would probably be fine as well. It should generally be limited to Type-Moon related stuff, but exceptions could be made for prominent enough staff members. Anything relevant for context but too minor for a full page can go on Doujin works, though PFALZ' doujin could probably get its own page now. EGGS (talk) 21:18, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, I just realize I completely misread what you were asking. If it's not a canon statement, I would not include it. Sometime artists will talk about their own interpretations on Twitter, but generally they'll say if it's within canon or just their own headcanon. EGGS (talk) 21:19, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
I just want to clarify, so wait if it's just from a doujin then I shouldn't post the information on the main page their needs to be more canon material, for example when Shirou summoned Medea in Ishida Akira's chapter as well as the joke panels of Shirou and Medea recruiting Medusa and Artoria, than it cannot be shown in Shirou's page (There was a botched Medea route could this support the post). What position is the Fate/Stay night Comic Battle in this, and can I at least post it on that page? What about images are those acceptable, or do they belong on the doujin page they came from and is it okay to describe it on their doujin page. What about doujin's approved by Type-Moon can those be posted, Should I create the pages for the listed doujin's, or should I instead post the gray areas on Doujin works? I want to know if I can put this image in an official capacity anywhere on this wiki. It was illustrated by Ishida Akira, in a Fate/Stay Night Comic Battle.GameCrusher55 (talk) 23:54, 6 November 2024 (UTC)GameCrusher55
I'm trying to decide which of these pictures I should put on the Shirou Emiya wiki, since this happened in two routes, I was wondering which picture you thought was better. I think the animated one is. GameCrusher55 (talk) 21:28, 27 November 2024 (UTC)GameCrusher55
I also added another image of Rin summoning Gilgamesh from that previous work, and I never received an answer on whether it was okay to put this on or not, I understand it shouldn't be put on official parts of the wiki but can it be added to the page's it came from like Fate/Comic Battle, or the doujinshi page, can it be put in a development section, or at least added to the characters gallery.GameCrusher55 (talk) 21:46, 27 November 2024 (UTC)GameCrusher55
I would like to add a section in the Shirou Emiya wiki, about his Lord El-Melloi II abilities. This will also help organize the events from Fem's Casa. I have a feeling it may have errors and unnecessary information. I will do it in a bit. Can you proofread and edit it.GameCrusher55 (talk) 19:48, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
Here is what I have so far before posting.
The Adventures of Lord El-Melloi II
Magecraft
Shirou has spent three years training in his magecraft and combat, a clear difference than the normal Fifth War Versions. Having been studying at the Clock Tower's Department of General Fundamentals, Shirou is more knowledgeable about magecraft and display's displays adequate grasp of its basics, showing familiarity with hypnosis and it's its conditions and effects. Shirou has been studying at the Clock Towers General Fundamentals Division gaining more grounded knowledge. His physical abilities have also increased to the point where he can catch Rin and Luvia from falling off Big Ben. Shirou has been working alongside with Rin to store magical energy within jewels, which when used he can allows him to use powerful spells he normally wouldn't be able to use to. One's year's worth enables him to manifest Unlimited Blade Works at will more easily. His reinforcement has also increased to the point where he can have prolonged battles with Juste's physical augmentations. His kinetic vision and reaction time has also been improved where he can counter equally an Atlas Alchemist's thought acceleration, and thought partitioning. He also displays accelerated healing while in Monaco, yet the cause of which is as of yet unknown.
Projection
Shirou is capable able of summoning Unlimited Blade Works by using a year's worth of his and Rin's magical energy stored in a jewel. He is also another version who has also benefited from the bleeding effect after his fight with Archer, boosting his combat abilities dramatically. He is also more proficient with projections, such as when he summoned Vajra to destroy weaponized electronic drones with lighting. He is also capable of has developped a new technique, using Broken Phantasms that to enables him to impart the effects of the Noble Phantasms that he has "Broken" to all the surrounding swords in his Reality Marble to be used. When Hrunting was used as a Broken Phantasm this way, it made turned all of his swords into homing weapons to battle Ziz's minions. His supportive abilities have also increased greatly, giving Ergo multiple swords for combat, as well as lending Caliburn to Gray. He also uses projection for a bow and arrows, incorporating them into his attacks much like his Fate version.
Please inform me of any improvments I can make before posting.GameCrusher55 (talk) 21:10, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- For next time, just make a TYPE-MOON Wiki:Sandbox on your profile like these other examples and link there, giant sections like this on my talk page makes it unwieldy to navigate. It's also much easier to comment. Anyway, I corrected grammar mistakes and syntax, only missing this:
- Shirou has spent three years training in his magecraft and combat, a clear difference than the normal Fifth War Versions should be better worded Unlike the other versions, Shirou has spent longer training in his magecraft and combat, since three years have passed since the Fifth Holy Grail War.
And of course, do not forget to include references. --The Lord Reader (talk) 04:25, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
Still currently having trouble with the Sandbox. In order to not over inflate this page I've written down my question on my Talk page. Please take a look at this link, and give me a reply. https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/User_talk:GameCrusher55 GameCrusher55 (talk) 20:47, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your reply I appreciate it. What about Unlimited Blade Works? GameCrusher55 (talk) 03:25, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
Okay I've asked EGGS about his opinion on the Unlimited Blade Works - Fate/unlimited codes, matter, but he hasn't gotten back to me in 2 days so far. I feel like you guys yourselves don't know whether this is correct or not. Anyway please take a look at my talk page again, at https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/User_talk:GameCrusher55, and tell me what you think. I've added more of my question's there, to not oversaturate this page. If I don't receive a response I will assume that I can edit the site myself to insert it, though I am worried that people will continue to reverse those edits.GameCrusher55 (talk) 20:37, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Okay since none of you came back to me on this, I went ahead and edited the Unlimited Blade Works page on the wiki, adding the discussed weapons, as well as a First appearance section so people could at least know where it was first projected, and a Projection Referencing for the more difficult to pin down projections. I know this site is very confusing and conflicting, but it's also the source of a great many individual's who come to this site for information. Can you please take the time to help me clean up this section on the wiki.GameCrusher55 (talk) 07:07, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Okay I've done more research on the relationship between Gram and Merodarch, please go to my talk page, and get back to me on the categorizing issue, and how to properly write it.GameCrusher55 (talk) 20:45, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Trying to properly edit the weapon pages of Hōtengeki, Dáinsleif, and Gram, but I don't know how to go about it. First Hōtengeki is called Houtengageki "God Force", and I don't know if I should seperate the two into seperate section's, or if I should rename the page (If I knew how.) Dáinsleif may need more information, and the reference material didn't enter well. Finally I know that Gram and Merodach are the same sword. I'm wondering if I should combine the pages. The original image for Gram is the exact same image for Merodach, I feel like Sigurd's reforging is closest to a seperate Gram if we want to categorize it seperate from Merodach, with an eventual reference that Caliburn descended from them. I would greatly appreciate the help.GameCrusher55 (talk) 00:21, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for the help. I'm fully aware that Excalibur is a contested subject. Technically speaking Shirou shouldn't be able to trace it unless he sacrifices his life for a weakened version. All the recorded info state that. Yet Archer has shown that he can project weakened version's of it from time to time. What with the first in Fate/EXTRA CCC as Excalibur Image and in Fate/Grand Order: Château d'If Kousuke Kurose Works's Prologue where he fired it as an arrow to Mash. Illya and Chloe have done the same feat in Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA in tracing it, though in this state it's described as paper mache. We also can't ignore Fate/stay night's Heaven's Feel Normal Ending "Superhero" where he traces a weakened Excalibur to destroy the Greater Grail. The fact that Sakura and Rin are alive in Fuyuki afterwards, proves he succeeded. While their are no statements that he can fully trace the blade, it is sown that if he pushes himself he can at least project an "Image" a weakened version of it. I do have to say that even though it was a suicide attack he still projected it, in the end.
I believe that the reason Illya and Chloe were able to do it, was because of their status as Holy Grail's and their accessing of it's vast power. This is further supported in Shirou and Angelica's fight as it is stated in this https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Shirou_Emiya_(Fate/kaleid_-_Miyu's_World)#cite_note-14 that what enabled Shirou to project Ig-Alima and Sul-sagana was because of Miyu giving him, her blessing a.k.a. her support as another Holy Grail. So we can assume that with that artifact or it's blessing it becomes possible for Shirou to trace above what he should normally be able to do. It follows the same principle as the Moon Cell supporting No Name.GameCrusher55 (talk) 01:53, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
Why the reverts?
Hope I ain't bothering you, but why are you reverting my edits? Did I do something wrong or were you not up-to-date with the policy change? Incase you weren't just clock on the link and Ctrl+F "We're still on the topic of galleries?" without the quotation marks. It kind of turned into a flame war so you don't have to scroll through all of that.--Appelmonkey (talk) 10:52, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, there was no actual policy change: User:EGGS proposed their view that the middle ground should be [Class] [Servant name] in image descriptions, but nothing was set in stone (and as far as I could see, your edits did not follow this proposition). More than that, you did not actually tell anyone involved in the conversation that you would go ahead and make edits anyway, much less edits to a voluminous amounts of articles that the staff isn't able to quickly check each and everyone of the edits to make sure they're standard. So I reverted the edits until this mess could be sorted (as I clearly indicated in this section you linked had you bothered to read to the end), preferrably somewhen after New Year's to make sure people are available. I would suggest you stop doing those edits until we actually talk about them and come to an actual decision, not interpret radio silence as a go ahead. EDIT: I didn't even notice, you reverted my reverts without even waiting for me to get back to you! Do you not realize how that can be a problem when a wiki is a collaborative effort, not a one-man show? --The Lord Reader (talk) 04:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
About Rin's Sapphire drain
Hello, you wrote in Jewel Magecraft that Rin used a sapphire in Lord Melloi Adventures (vol 2, chap 2) to drain mana and power another spell, but I read that chapter and could find nothing about that, could you point me to the paragraph where this happens? Thank you Vdbigbang (talk) 19:44, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- Re-read the chapter, CTRL+F is your friend when you need to find something quick: She had been developing the spell she had just cast since before they came to Japan, made especially to counter the mages hunting Ergo down. She had used her favorite jewels: a sapphire that used thorns to extract the magical energy inside mages, and a ruby that used the energy extracted in a binding spell. Combined, they should have been able to neutralize enemies much stronger than herself. Chapter 2 Part 4--The Lord Reader (talk) 03:09, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the quote, I actually did ctrl+f in the translation in beast's lair but apparently I must've looked in volume 1 instead of volume 2... Vdbigbang (talk) 07:31, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Categorizing and Sourcing Pics
Would you mind instructing me on how to categrorize them? I feel like if they're visibly from the media, that's source enough, but I will agree I'm not the most informed on how to do certain things on the wiki. Those pics, however, I uploaded back in January and they were taken down without explanation, only for your pic to emerge later, which did come across as removing them only to upload your own. I do care about the quality of things on this wikia, but I also don't have the greatest knowledge of them. If I caused a problem with them, or didn't do something, would you mind telling me what I can do to correct this for the future? Zahadrin (talk) 20:00, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- I did not upload that pic to be clear, that was User:GameCrusher55 originally when it was the manga panel and then later User:AquaHoshino03 the anime version of the scene. And the reason for categorizing of pictures, besides simply being more aesthetically pleasing wiki-wise when things are in distinct groupings, is that it is very easy for people to upload fanart and pretend they're legit if they are good enough. A good example was an image on the Maiya Hisau article, Maiyameetskerry.JPG (deletion log), which purported to be Maiya as a child when she met Kiritsugu and supposedly from the Fate/Zero manga. The FZ manga is not translated, officially or otherwise, meaning this pic's source was inaccessible for most of us and there was no reason not to take at face value the claim that it was from the manga...until I managed to found (badly scanned) volumes of FZ in Japanese and could not find the picture anywhere, even when there was indeed a scene of Kerry meeting Maiya in the past. After doing a reverse search as shown in the deletion log, turns out the picture came from a doujinshi, not an actual canon source.
- Categorizing and sourcing is like an insurance, a promise to wiki users that this picture truly came from [Source] and you can independently look it up to make sure. Just like how citations for claims in articles serve to show the article isn't filled with nonsense and made up claims/lies. There are many fanartists who are really good at imitating styles, so it is always possible someone well-intentioned upload a picture thinking it's canonical (and the loss of image origins is already a big problem across the internet and image boards, notably Pinterest). And source is useful if the picture uploaded is of low quality (notably screenshots or manga pages still full of text that will be rendered unreadable in the article anyway) and someone wants to find the source to save a better version of the image. Is it always applied consistently, no, or the Uncategorized Files page wouldn't be a thing, but it's still helpful to do I think. You don't have to source everytime (FGO images notably are a bit more lax, though it can be a bit of pain when trying to find them later), though sourcing for manga and light novels is appreciated (some leeway is allowed, no need for exact page number), but categorizing should be done with every uploaded picture.
- What I usually do is, when I upload a picture, I write the following in the Summary box:
- Source: X chapter Y

- So when the file is uploaded, it's automatically categorized and I don't have to think about it or write the source. If I forget to do either or you want to be quicker, just upload the picture as is, scroll down the file's page and open Categories subsection and click on "Add Category" and start typing. Most images categories are already saved, so just typing a few letters should already show you the available options of categories that you can just click and choose. (EDIT: Some visual demonstration, apologies for the low quality.)--The Lord Reader (talk) 23:11, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- There's no infobox, as I said, you have to write it manually in the Summary box (the white space just below "Destination Filename") that is already present when you upload an image. In the Summary section/box, type, as I showed, "Source: The Source (+ chapter, episode, or what have you)". There's not much more you have to do. --The Lord Reader (talk) 05:31, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
Galahad's Personality
During Moonlight Lostroom, he actively criticizes Ritsuka as the one who set in motion the upcoming bleaching of the world. Why are we removing that from his personality? Zahadrin (talk) 07:31, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- While that is indeed what happened, as someone pointed out in the Talk Page, the section is heavily editorialized, as in it's written way more opinionated about the subject instead of being more neutral. "(...) deciding that she and her Master are responsible for the rise of the Crypters by defeating Goetia, despite the fact that it was he that gave Mash the power to defy Goetia in the first place" is not a neutral description of what happens or what Galahad says, it's misunderstanding what was being said and then arguing about it like it's trying to justify the actions of Chaldea and criticizing Galahad, like "ooooh, he says this but he was the one who gave the power in the first place, the hypocrite!". It's very silly, and it reeks of that affronted attitude some FGO players have whenever anyone in the story antagonizes or criticizes Ritsuka Fujimaru because they self-insert into the character and thus take anything as a personal affront (see also some of the very vocal reactions to the Crypters because of the impression they denied Fujimaru's successes).
- It's also plainly wrong, a frequent misunderstanding of Galahad's words and what follows. All Galahad does is mention the Bleaching and note that it's hopeless to a greater extent than Goetia's incineration of humanity and that perhaps they were better off doing nothing. He doesn't even really say or imply that's his own opinion, just making an observation. In fact, he even agrees with Ritsuka that the future is never set in stone as long as there's even the slightest opportunity otherwise. And while Galahad criticizes Proper Human History, because the Lostbelt fight is much more morally complicated than the Incineration journey, linking it to Mash not having the power was always a conflation of unrelated. What actually happened, and is demonstrated as true in later moments, is that Mash had a mental block, because even she didn't know if what she was fighting for was right. And then Galahad encouraged her to use her own power in LB1 anyway (which a lot forget), which puts the reasoning that he left her out of criticism wrongheaded (I suspect Galahad left because, after being revived, Mash no longer needed him to live as she did when he was first summoned into her). LB6 further confirms that the moral ambiguity is what affects Mash because when she loses her memories, she regains her Galahad powers.
- Again, this article needed to be changed, because it felt like it was written by someone disliking Galahad and being so uncharitable they misinterpreted everything about the character. --The Lord Reader (talk) 14:46, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
About the Protected Pages and Vandalism
I know this is too much to ask but when will the pages for Jack the Ripper (Assassin), Assassin Class Card (Hassan of Serenity) and Barghest (Lostbelt) be available to edit? Since you said that it will remain Protected until the Vandal is dealt with and it's been two weeks now. And the guy hasn't been vandalizing since June 14. -- User:AquaHoshino03 (talk) 7:29, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello it's me again, now that the guy is back, I really have to ask you to be careful if you are going to put a page in protection. Because I know the guy is not gonna stop vandalizing even after a page locked, that's why the many pages after the Jack the Ripper page got vandalized cause the guy just won't give up. -- User:AquaHoshino03 (talk) 6:12, 07 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I got to ask you something, and sorry if it's a rude question it's about that guy who keeps vandalizing the pages. What will you do if that guy keeps vandalizing again and again even if you lock the page he vandalize? you realize by now that the guy just wouldn't stop. Heck he vandalize the Arjuna page just hours after you reported him and put the detective page under protection. -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) 1:31, July 08 2024 (UTC)

Hi I know this is going to be irritating but when will the Nero Claudius be available since it's been days since it was kept under protection. -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) 4:09, October 31, 2024 (UTC)
Hello I know you are going to be annoyed by this but when will the Nero Claudius page gonna be unlocked? It's been a month now, and you know that it isn't even vandalized. -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) 8:39, November 04, 2024 (UTC)
Hello User:Kaijibiggestfan is still vandalizing even though you protected many of the pages he even uploaded many photos. -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) 16:09, November 13, 2024 (UTC)
Umm... Hi You can unlock the protected pages now since User:Kaijibiggestfan has been dealt with you said it yourself. And also can you unlock the Nero Claudius page since it's been weeks since it has been locked -- AquaHoshino03 (talk) 19:58, November 13, 2024 (UTC)
Image references
I'm sorry, what the hell do you mean by "never provides source references for my uploads"? Literally all of my uploads have edited to include references. The least you could've done is sent me a goddamn message instead of just straight up deleting it. Uchu40 (talk) 09:04, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hassan of Serenity wasn't sourced, I had to do it for you. As was Shining Star Hassan, and 100 Personas tribute art before them, and I could go on. You seem to think just a title counts as "sourcing", but that's not how this wiki works, there is a clear method. This is important because this wiki used to have a huge problem where any random images was put in articles with no idea ss to the origin of the image, including one infamous case where Maiya had a picture of her childhood that actually came from a hentai doujin. So it is important to do, and very bamal to write. You know where you found the picture, just write the link in its description, I shouldn't have to track down the source for you when I have other stuff to do. --The Lord Reader (talk) 09:11, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- I did source the Serenity art. And the Hundred Faces tribute art. I also seem to remember having to correct you on source of the Shining Star image after YOU cited it incorrectly. Just calm down and give me a few minutes to grab the reference, stop being so trigger-happy and being dismissive of every user. You already have ability to roll back, you do not have to be passive aggressive on top. Uchu40 (talk) 09:20, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- You are correct that you at least indicated the origin when the images where put in articles, that is good, I meant indicating it in the file descriptions as well. Correcting me that one time isn't really a point though, I already expressed frustration at having to do it for you, showing you could have done it the entire time because I made a mistake on something that wasn't my job isn't really convincing. And I'm not dismissive of every user, I am just incredibly annoyed at having to clean up after user doing very basic stuff badly when just 5 minutes familiarizing themselves with how editing is done would have shown them how to do it correctly, I'm not going to be sorry of being annoyed at having to play janitor to people instead of everyone else editing properly. --The Lord Reader (talk) 20:04, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- My brother in Christ, you cannot simply get angry and revert every single image that doesnt have a file description. It doesnt even matter at that point since the description is added onto the page anyway. Either learn to live with the fact that the majority of normal wiki users arent going to add file descriptions anyway or just go add in the file descriptions yourself instead of reverting edits that are actually trying to contribute to the wiki. Uchu40 (talk) 03:00, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- The Shinji picture is completely watermarked, what is even the point of adding it if you can't find a cleaner version? You didn't even bother giving the file a proper name until it was removed. And referencing is also not just throwing a link with no description of what it is, nor is it how it works for other pictures. Tell you what, the picture doesn't get deleted, but it is removed from the Shinji page until a cleaner version is found, as it is it is unnecessary clutter anyway. --The Lord Reader (talk) 05:22, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
Apologies
Sorry about the slapdash edits to the Brown Jenkin and Lavinia pages, wanted to add images of those Manga-exclusive forms to the wiki at last. This is my first time actually editing on Fandom so not used to how things work here.
Also wanted to ask why Brown's page was reverted while Lavinia's had the second image updated. Readded the TrueBrownJenkin image to the wiki with the proper manga chapter source. TrueMrMultiverse (talk) 10:10, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- The picture doesn't really show well the "true form" the way Keziah Mason and Lavinia Whateley do, because the central part of it is showing Brown Jenkins being sliced in half. I was hoping you would find a better image instead of this one. I'm not gonna delete it again, but it's not good enough to be on the profile. --The Lord Reader (talk) 19:32, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
Fair enough! Sorry again for the trouble, might have to wait for more of the manga gets translated or released for free for better "true form" Brown Jenkin art. TrueMrMultiverse (talk) 00:07, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Barthomeloi Lorelei
Hey so I'm going to go get the raw and a translation of the mentioned material would you be willing to allow the thing to be moved to citation needed if Google translate doesn't indicate anything about the age of their family?
Just want to make sure the source and the information resulting from them are accurate.
- You can and I would, but you are wasting your time because it is accurate or I wouldn't have put it in, as I literally just retranscribed the text from the CM page itself. As a member of this wiki's staff, I have zero interest or benefit into making stuff up. --The Lord Reader (talk) 16:47, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
well the reason i am saying this is two thirds of the translation is simply not there in the english portion and is in the japanese portion.
and i didnt say you made a mistake either, simply that the page references information the citation does not have.
- Yes, and this was exactly what I noted when I reverted the citation needed on the Barthomeloi page, that the relevant information is indeed in the source but was never properly translated, only the Dark Six part was. I didn't add it again just for the fun of it, there was a good reason. --The Lord Reader (talk) 17:05, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
so, just to be clear: you dont mind me adding the correct english translation to the citation for the english component?
- Since it was a proper translator, it's more than fine, it's appreciated. --The Lord Reader (talk) 20:41, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
yay!
Edit War
I send this to Eggs, but since he hasn't done anything in a while I am also sending this to you in case he takes too long.
My edits on the Jaguar Man page were reverted by User:Lemostr00. Would you mind telling to knock it off or at least give a concrete reason when reverting edits since we don't end up in an edit war?
The wiki has a big problem with plagiarism, most pages are just copy-pastes of translations of material book sections of varying quality and tend to be filled with purple prose that work for a material book, but are really unnecessary for a wiki. I'd love to clean the up a bit, but I obviously can't do anything when someone keep reverting my edits solely out of spite.--Appelmonkey (talk) 14:31, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
Ĥey, could you please deal with the edit war with appelmonkey over on the Hassan of Serenity page? Uchu40 (talk) 11:57, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
Lord Reader, a few links for your convenience with this matter; Hassan of Serenity, Page History, User talk:Uchu40, communication regarding conflict (unanswered at time of writing), User talk:EGGS, communication regarding conflict (unanswered at time of writing). P.S. Semi-related in terms of the conflict, if you happen to look at User talk:Lemostr00, bear in mind they haven't been signing their messages, so the boundary between one of their messages and appel's might not be clear. About Hakuno's Page
Hi. I'm genuinely having trouble understanding why my edits have received such an aggressive response. While it is true that I did transfer their servant artwork from their servant page onto this one, that is only because Hakuno during OC3 wears the exact same outfit their summonable version wears. We see male Hakuno change from the summer outfit to the uniform, and Hakunon from the White Robe Mystic Code to the uniform in the story itself. Wouldn't it make more sense in that case to have the uniform be their default FGO appearance on both pages to represent their outfit during Archetype Inception AND the summonable version from right after Extella Link alongside the summer outfit? Having just the summer outfit on Hakuno's main page seems misleading when OC3 shows otherwise. MoebiusX9 (talk) 23:10, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
Honkai Collab
Just wondering, are we not keeping photos of stuff from the Honkai Star Rail x Fate/ UBW collab? I just figured adding the Grail and Command Spells would be fine since we kept the images of Cu Chulainn's appearance on the site, but just wanted to know your thoughts.
