Throne?
How about a single page for Throne? As far as I know, there are four types of Thrones where only one is referred to in this wiki:
Throne of Heroes (F/SN, etc.): Holds Heroic Spirits
Throne of Divine Spirits (F/SF, referred to by the Wolf's original master; idk how Beast's Lair translated itthough): Holds gods
Throne of Guardians, also called something like the Ring of the Counter Force (F/Extra, Fujimura says Archer is summoned not from the Throne of Heroes, but from the Ring): Holds Counter Guardians
Throne of Souls (Fate/Complete Material 3, Kagetsu Tohya): Holds human souls after death. After death, a human soul can either become a ghost, become stored in the Throne of Souls, or reincarnate.
Zodiac21 (talk) 08:44, March 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I know there are references to a 'seat of gods', like mentioning that Heracles ascended there in one of his profiles (CM3?) and saying that only those who have fallen from the seat of gods can be summoned as Servants normally in GO. I don't know if that has been clarified to be the god-storage equivalent though, or just a way of saying "they entered/left the realm of the gods." CGs are definitely on the ToHs. Archer and Rin both give exposition in UBW before the Shirou vs Archer fight. That Drama CD quote is one of many random tidbits we have yet to make full sense of in relation to everything else. Never heard of the last one. Sure you're not mistaken? EGGS (talk) 11:08, March 12, 2016 (UTC)
- About gods, 座 seems to be used in the same context as when talking about the Throne of Heroes so idk.
- Out of a lack of resources and personal laziness...here's a wiki page for the quote where the Ring of the Counter Force (Wheel of Deterrence?) is talked about by Emiya in Extra: http://typemoon.wiki.cre.jp/wiki/%E7%84%A1%E9%8A%98. The term itself should exist or Emiya wouldn't talk about it. I'll skip the Fujimura quote from Blossom sensei since you already seem to have heard about it.
- About the Throne of Souls, it says that the Baptism Rite of the Church returns ghosts back to their Throne forcefully in F/CM3. Supposedly, this is where you take the human souls for use in making familiars like talked about in Kagetsu Tohya. Zodiac21 (talk) 20:07, March 12, 2016 (UTC)
- There's seemingly some place for gods given that even dead goddesses like Stheno and Euryale are being summoned, but it doesn't seem like it's been clarified yet. For CGs, it seems like something that will probably get a proper explanation somewhere. It definitely should be mentioned in an article as a thing that exists, but I don't think we can draw any specific conclusion on its relation to the throne and how that all works as of yet. As far as church spells go, it sounds like that might be another way of saying it's "sending them back to heaven" symbolically. I'm not familiar with the KT reference off-hand. Avalon
Noticed there was some confusion about whether F/Z says Avalon supplies energy or not so I looked up the raw:
元来がセイバーの所有物である『全て遠き理想郷(アヴァロン)』は、サーヴァントからの魔力供給があって初めて効力を発揮する宝具である。この先、セイバーとともに前線に立つ望みのないアイリスフィールが装備していたところで戦略的な価値はない。= "Avalon, which was originally Saber's property, was a Noble Phantasm that would only show its effect once it had a supply of magical energy from the Servant. Since she had no hope of joining Saber on the front lines, there was no strategic merit to Irisviel being equipped with it any longer."
So yeah it doesn't supply magical energy, it gets supplied with it ("サーヴァントからの魔力供給" is pretty unambiguous) Wakame (talk) 22:48, March 22, 2016 (UTC)
New Event Classes?
Hey, about those new classes, I know a bunch of them are marked (Fake), but Jekyll at least is marked (Real), so are they all fake servants, and Real/Fake have a different context here, or can we take some seriously, and not others, like that Saber Ko-Gil? Hawkeye2701 (talk) 23:10, April 11, 2016 (UTC)
- I believe the context of those titles is for the drop material rather than their status. Either way, going by plot is the best way to tell. Berserker Boudica and Berserker Liz were specifically like that in the plot, so there's no mistaking it for a gameplay thing. EGGS (talk) 23:44, April 11, 2016 (UTC)

Gilgamesh as Caster
http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Caster_(Fate/Grand_Order_-_Gilgamesh)
copypasted from Gilgamesh talk page:
The article for Caster Gilgamesh is wrong. It says that the artwork was done by Ginka, who did Jason's artwork in Fate/Grand Order. There is no official artwork for Caster Gilgamesh, the unofficial images Caster Gilgamesh are actually Jason from Fate/Grand Order, before his identity was confirmed/translations were released. Gilgamesh DOES appear in F/GO as his regular self and as Child Gil, but only as an Archer class Servant.
Please help with removing the article, and removing pages that link to it, specifically the ones with sortable tables such as the Servant page and the Caster page. Don't have the technical knowledge and I'd rather not break the sortable lists/tables. Eaglezero55 (talk) 00:13, April 25, 2016 (UTC)

Shirou in Hollow Ataraxia
Hey EGGS,
Sorry to be bothering you, but I noticed you erased my adds to the Shirou page, as well as several others. I added those after spending the last few days studying Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and I was able to find out a couple of things.
Shirou only appears in bonus scenes, the Eclipse Scenes which are stated to be more silly fan service than anything else, including by Nasu himself. The real Shirou being the star of the Eclipse Scenes is shown by the last bonus scene, where Bazett shows up and it is confirmed that Avenger is gone.
Avenger takes Shirou's role for the story, and Shirou's desire to "save someone" is his biggest motivation for sacrificing himself for Bazett.
While my edits might have needed some tweeking, everything I said is correct.
JMac14 (talk) 23:06, May 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Shirou is Shirou in hollow. He's also Avenger, but he's only Avenger when he's actually Avenger. It's the whole Avenger + Shirou = Shirou (0 + 1 = 1) thing Avenger has going on. The edits suppose that there's some kind of importance in that fact. Basically, there's no distinction except when he's explicitly acting as Avenger in the night scenes, scenes with Caren, and the single scenes with Illya and Caster. Portable Infoboxes
Hi!
I'm Cyanide3, and I'm representing Wikia's Vanguard team. We're users who volunteer to help communities adopt to new technologies and features, like content portability. We've identified your community as a high priority for introducing the Portable Infobox tool, which has a lot of benefits for your community. Rather than get into all of the metrics and numbers (though I can present some of those if you're interested), I'll keep it simple. I'd like upgrade the Infobox templates themselves so that they can be accessible on any current and future platform. Maintaining them if you want to make changes should be very simple.
I would like to work with you on the Infoboxes, which are registered on Special:Insights/nonportableinfoboxes. There are guides and resources on the Portability Hub for the structure and styles, which I like to share with you in case you are interested in the transformation of your infoboxes.
If you agree I will create some infoboxes, which have the same styling as your previous infoboxes and once I am finished I will send you some links so you can give me feedback if those fit in your Wiki. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. You can write me a message on my message wall and I am available on Skype as well.

Hi, I'm Flightmare and I'm also with Vanguard. Regarding the sub-templates as used discussed on User talk:Cyanide3, I am facing something similar on the Elder Scrolls Wiki. My solution to this example can be seen at w:c:elderscrolls:Template:Book/Draft. Every collapsible box in that infobox used to be a subtemplate. Something similar can be achieved for your character and servant infoboxes. The only caveat here is the structure of the template will be changing quit a bit. I am currently writing a bot task for the full conversion on Elder Scrolls for 1000 articles. If you'd like to I could help you out the same way when the Books are migrated on Elder Scrolls. Since your Character infobox with servants is used on 200 articles I assume you'd also like to convert this with a bot? — Flightmare (talk) 11:51, August 3, 2016 (UTC)
Female category=
How exactly is it a pointless category? Let's say someone wants a complete list of female Servants - they would have to go through the "Servant" category and literally go name by name searching for the articles they want, because Fate has plenty of genderswaps and a well known male historic figure could easily turn out to be a woman. Yeah, there's a "Genderswapped Heroic Spirit" category, but the people looking for female Servants will still be missing a pretty decent chunk since there are less genderswapped Servants than aunthentic female ones (though, not by a lot).
I don't see how it wouldn't be useful to people. Categories are really just filters that help browsers find specific content on the wiki that they're looking for anyway. If I'm looking for a list of Servants in Fate/Grand Order, yeah, I could use the "Characters in Fate/Grand Order" category, or I could just go the Fate/Grand Order page, which has every Servant in a neat well-formatted list; the sorting pattern of which can be changed to suit my needs, and which even has short descriptions for some of them. This alone makes the "Characters Fate/Grand Order" category more useless than "Female Heroic Spirits" which doesn't have an alternative like the former does.
If you want to get rid of it for good, fine, but with other categories like "Human", which is far too broad and unspecific, as it includes likes of Zouken Matou, the Night of Wallachia, and the majority of Servants; or "Vampire" which includes non-Vampires and should just be renamed to something like "Blood-sucker", I see no reason why "Female Heroic Spirits", which isn't even that broad of a category, should be removed.
And yes. I'm sorry for making it without asking.
Gudao (talk) 02:27, August 4, 2016 (UTC)
- There are some aspects that are ultimately pointless to categorize. Gender is one of them. As I said, even if we were to have that category, it would just be "Male characters" and "Female characters." Otherwise, we'd need a different set of categories for every single character subset (female magi? female humans? Female monsters?, the list goes on). Those two categories would then be pointlessly bloated. The human category is for characters that were human, are human, or become human at any point. Not all Heroic Spirits were humans in life, so just having them all in the Servant category doesn't properly define all of them. Vampire is synonymous with bloodsucker in-universe. All vampires are bloodsuckers and all bloodsuckers are vampires. That's why it's further divided into DA, DAA, and TA for those who specifically fall under those categories. EGGS (talk) 18:09, August 4, 2016 (UTC)
Hi friend, I need to ask you a thing. I'd like to change a part of the Karna's status. I know that, with Kavacha and Kundala, Karna can increase his endurance and magic resistance. For this reason, I had thought to put in his endurance C(A++). This case will be similar with King Arthur of the Fate Prototype.
Template:NP
Ever since MediaWiki:Themes.css was imported into MediaWiki:Wikia.css, the NP template has been pretty wonky. The tabs are tiny and images are often too small. Could you fix this, possibly by removing Themes.css from Wikia.css? ~~ IST O L E T H E P I ES π 19:06, August 16, 2016 (UTC)
- I think those edits were to help the development of the new character template. If you try leaving a message for User:Flightmare who is currently trying to help set up that template, he might be able to deal with that. EGGS (talk) 19:50, August 16, 2016 (UTC)
- The images weren't touched actually so I can't explain that behaviour right now, do you have an example page where this happens so I can inspect it? Speaking of the tabs, I did not know they were used in other places already. Right now I made their sizes similar to the tabs already in place in the character-infoboxes. Perhaps it will be beneficial to choose a wiki-wide style for all tabs in general. Giving them different sizes per template can hurt the overall consistency of looks on every page of the wiki. — Flightmare (talk) 09:57, August 29, 2016 (UTC)
Servant Type Portable Infobox
I was able to include the familiy-tree infobox as a collapsed group of the Character-template, but the servant groups are becoming somewhat of an issue here, given the extreme size the infobox may take up. I see you already experimented with the idea of having the servant infoboxes separated from the main infobox and I would like to know what you think of going down that path instead. Having it split off from the character-infobox means the code will be a lot cleaner and easier for editors to understand.
I can still assist with a bot help if required. My bot should be able to handle the data extraction from the character-infobox in its current form and write this into a new infobox.
If you have any questions or requests, please let me know. — Flightmare (talk) 13:23, August 23, 2016 (UTC)
- In addition, I also see you started defining a new style for the Portable Infoboxes (such as the new wider style), do you want to keep experimenting with the style or do you want me to make the PI look just like the original infobox? — Flightmare (talk) 13:34, August 23, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, if there's no way to do a infobox within an infobox like the current style, probably best to split them up. Some characters may end up with over six of them, so trying to code that all into one infobox is probably too much. Is there any way to use Tabber with portable infoboxes rather than the current style of one on top of the other? EGGS (talk) 18:30, August 23, 2016 (UTC)
- Right now the only real way of using tabs is when you have multiple images. When placed in a gallery and and fed to the image-argument it will create the image-tabber all by itself. Right now there is no way to tab other fields in PI's. One thing we can do with the servant's is making the infobox hold one servant type each, and include the infobox in a tabber when you want to place it in an article. That way it is possible to have the same infobox six times at the same place, with tabs. — Flightmare (talk) 18:54, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Attribute Section for Servant Infobox
Hey!
I was wondering if you can add an 'Attribute' slot to the Servant infoboxes, as all Servants pretty much have one. I believe that it would be relevant information when looking at the infobox of a Servant and have readers wonder 'wow, so this Servant is this attribute'. I can do all the implementation if you want if this happens, including copy/pasting all current infobox info into the new ones.

Command Spells
Hello,
I made these. I went through the Commend Spells page and I noticed that Tubaki, Orlando, Wolf, Faldeus and Cashura only had pictures so I decided to try recreating them proper. I think Tubaki's, Faldeus' and Cashura's are fine, but I have problems with Orlando' and Wolf's. Orlando's seems to be just one shape, but if I zoom in there seems to be a slight gap, but I'm not sure. Wolf's is a bit awkward since there are lines (fur?) under the command spell so I can't be certain that it's accurate and there seem to be only two parts. Maybe the third part is that black shape to the right, but it is cropped, so I can't accurately recreate it.
I also noticed that Wolf's command spell doesn't appear in his infobox on his page and well, Cashura is a minor character. (Though, it could be added there, he does have an infobox)
And there's also the issue that some of the CS are black, some are black with an outline (with some having a different thickness, I believe) and ...then there's Atrum in a weird dark shade of red. I mean, I can make any of those. Also, is there a perticular shade of red? And are these okay? Should I fix anything?

- If you have access to the manga, the first volume has one of Orlando while on the phone with Caster. I don't know if that's the one already uploaded, but it's everything except for the bottom portion. As far as I know, that's the clearest image of the wolf's CS that we have. Making all of them red (except Sieg's which is supposed to be black) would be a good thing. As for the shade, probably as close as possible to the real red color as you can. Rin Tabs
With regards to the alternative versions of Rin, the navigation tabs on the pages are slightly different from one another at the moment. Do you want them made the same and which one would be preferred? Inept Wiki User (talk) 21:33, February 10, 2017 (UTC)
- Switching it to a unified template like Template:Sabertabs would be best. I'm not sure if Ishtar should be there because it's just Rin's body and a little bit of her personality. Maybe a "similar characters" tab with Ishtar, Eresh, and Extra Rin? EGGS (talk) 21:52, February 10, 2017 (UTC)
- I've made template with a set of tabs based on the existing variations and suggestions. Would this be satisfactory?
- Template:Rintabs
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 15:07, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, looks fine. EGGS (talk) 00:24, February 19, 2017 (UTC)
- Understood. Proceeding with implementation. Inept Wiki User (talk) 14:37, February 19, 2017 (UTC)
Minor Questions
Apologies for bothering you again, EGGS. I have a couple of minor questions:
- I was considering doing some expansion for the Demon Pillars, as the article is slightly skeletal at the moment. Before proceeding, I thought I should ask; are there any preferences with regards to sections and structures?
- Regarding composition of articles from material information; what are your thoughts with regards to direct transcription as opposed to putting at least some of that same information in one's own words?
Inept Wiki User (talk) 16:32, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think there has ever been uniform structure. "Characteristics", "History", "Role" are fairly standard for general sections. For individual sections on the demons, just a paragraph or two should suffice. If they need more than that like Flauros or Baal, probably split them out. It's fine to use the text as a base, but it should tweaked to suit the nature of an encyclopedia. If direct phrasing is important, place it in quotations. That's one problem here recently where profiles have been directly ported without any tweaking, but I honestly can't really care at this point seeing at it would take countless hours to go through each page. EGGS (talk) 18:10, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
- Understood regarding the Demon Pillars. I was going to add information regarding the Grand Order, the events in Salomon (including the actions and fates of some of the pillars) and the currently unmentioned appearances for several pillars. I wasn't going to add background stuff regarding the demons from the actual Ars Goetia, as people can access it via the existing links.
- Agreed - it's a bit annoying when people do that sort of thing.
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 22:36, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
- On the subject of the problem of direct copying and a common culprit on the articles (though this one isn't the same as those), is this of any concern (mainly the direct game transcript)?
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 17:00, March 10, 2017 (UTC)
- It would appear that Nikonu has gone ahead and made a page for Baal, though it could still use a few tweaks. Additional question; for the representative pillars fought in Salomon, should I mention the class properties they had assumed or not?
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 10:48, March 2, 2017 (UTC)
- With regards to the Demon Pillars, I've expanded based on events in the final singularity with the exception of Chapter 1. Further expansion is still possible for Characteristics and History. I haven't done any expansion for Baal, and haven't found Nihongo inputs for the terms 'Five Pillar Envoys' or 'Angel of Four Pillars'. With regards to Baal, is the anon change on March 4th verified?
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 17:00, March 10, 2017 (UTC)
A few more minor questions, EGGS
- With regards to TOHSAKA, there was something I was a little uncertain about. I wasn't sure whether a note should or should not be made under Personality regarding her tone/way of speaking (though I wasn't sure how best to describe it) or her notable tendency to mix English in with her Japanese (Source: [1], [2], [3]). What do you reckon regarding whether or not it should be added and how it could be described?
- With regards to Watcher's shadows, would I be correct to assume that their identities are to be withheld from articles until confirmed in-text and are not to be mentioned as class candidates on the main class pages, regardless of whether information suggests it, until that time?
Inept Wiki User (talk) 16:29, April 15, 2017 (UTC)
- It wouldn't particularly hurt, but I wouldn't say it is necessary. Yes, identities should remain unknown so long as they aren't fully named.EGGS (talk) 11:29, April 16, 2017 (UTC)
Sorry for bothering you again, EGGS - there is another little thing which I was wondering about and thought I should probably ask about first.
I was recently looking through the Skill article to find certain skills in order to answer a number of questions in my mind (e.g. how many Skills are there with 'No Information Available', which skills would likely be accessible through skills such as Wisdom of the Haunted Ground and Natural-Born Genius or part of composite skills, which skills override others, which skills are specific and general etc), however I was having difficulty going through them.
I was thinking about making a few lists to assist with my analyses (e.g. which skills currently have 'No Information Available', overriding skills, non-specific skills, skills specific to individuals or groups etc) and was initially going to compile it on paper, however it crossed my mind that some such lists might be useful to other people also going through the data. I wasn't sure about whether or not this would be the case here - what do you reckon?
Inept Wiki User (talk) 19:37, April 26, 2017 (UTC)
- The forums or blogs are fine areas to post original analysis and speculation, so no issue there. EGGS (talk) 23:45, April 26, 2017 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks, EGGS. Inept Wiki User (talk) 16:38, April 27, 2017 (UTC)
- The construction has worn me out and other things are cropping up so I'll have to take a break for the time being. Apologies for asking, but how does the stuff done so far look? Inept Wiki User (talk) 21:16, April 30, 2017 (UTC)
Another minor question, EGGS. In your opinion, are things at the stage where Singularity can have a page of its own outside of Chaldea's page? Inept Wiki User (talk) 16:17, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I would say that would be fine. They're technically Holy Grail Wars, so maybe make a Grand Order page with the same format as Fuyuki Holy Grail War and True and False Holy Grail Wars with links to each of those as well. EGGS (talk) 19:07, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
- I see. A few additional questions:
- Following the same section structure, would I be correct in assuming that basic Singularity information (and the target of the redirect) would fall under the 'Origin' section, with the more specialized information in the individual sections below?
- Would it be OK to deviate slightly from the heading name structure of the previous ones?
- Would I be correct in assuming that the same notice used for 'Grand Order' would still be good for use on the new page?
- While a new page and another tab is being added, should we make one for the Great Holy Grail War as well?
- Inept Wiki User (talk) 19:54, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, the Singularity pages should be different. Something like "Location/Setting/some other fitting word" for the basic details of the area, "History" for a description of the deviation in the setting before and during the arrival of the protag, "Participants" can stay, and anything else fitting. I don't know if a list of areas is needed, but I guess it wouldn't hurt. Don't want to get to game-guideish though. Do you mean the header pointing to the other usage of Grand Order? Yes, in that case. EGGS (talk) 22:35, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
- Understood. Initial framework in place. Further expansion is required and will be carried out. Should the Great Holy Grail War get its own page? Inept Wiki User (talk) 12:13, July 29, 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I'd like all of them split out eventually, including giving Prisma's its own page as well. EGGS (talk) 12:45, July 30, 2017 (UTC)
- Minor question; do you know of any options/code which can hide or show certain parts of a template depending on the article it is on? Inept Wiki User (talk) 12:58, July 30, 2017 (UTC)
- In what context would you be looking to do that? EGGS (talk) 13:05, July 30, 2017 (UTC)
- You've been making templates out of the participant tables (minus collapse) for Grand Order to be featured on both Grand Order and Servant, correct? The Demon Pillars are included in some of the tables (given their status and role within Grand Order). I was wondering whether there was something which could hide the Demon Pillars on Servant but show them on Grand Order.
- One other thing, do you know of any pages which have links to Anchor Apoc3 on Holy Grail War (now on Great Holy Grail War)? Inept Wiki User (talk) 13:10, July 30, 2017 (UTC)

Scathach's Birthplace.
You keep changing the Scathach Place of Origin even though I've stated clearly the facts and source to back it up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sc%C3%A1thach Scathach was born in Scotland and she was a Scottish Warrior and her castle, Dunscaith, is located in NorthWest Scotland. So if you could kindly stop reversing her place of birth to Ireland, because that's false. 107.191.169.118 03:28, April 14, 2017 (UTC)
- This is a mix up between birthplace and regional origin of the story. Scathach lived in Scotland (we don't know where she was born), but the myth that talked about her comes from Ireland, not Scotland. FGO doesn't refer to the birthplace of the person, but to the region of the myth - that's why it says "story - region" and not "birthplace".
- Also, this wiki has the habit of (trying to) state what the original material says, even if the source material happens to be wrong. In this case it's not particularly wrong, but if it were, you'd still be wrong to keep changing it. 93.16.135.125 11:04, April 14, 2017 (UTC)

Featured Wiki Videos
Hey EGGS. I'm Julia from FANDOM's Community team. By now you may have seen our announcement about Wiki Modernization and how we're using featured wiki videos to reduce the number of ads on the site and improve the performance of all FANDOM wikis.
As we move forward we plan to have wiki videos in many communities, with Type Moon wiki being a candidate for videos. If you are interested in which video types we might use you can find some great examples in this blog post. We are working on several ways to involve users in the video creation and script writing process. If we start producing videos we may reach out to you, other admins, and users if we think you can be involved in the production. At that point we will provide further information.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Springteufel (talk) 11:25, June 21, 2017 (UTC)
scans
Hi EGG. I've noticed Kimkimkun123 has uploaded scans of type-moon material on the wiki images and I'm concerned about copyright issues. Could you ask the user to stop uploading them. Nikonu (talk) 06:51, June 28, 2017 (UTC)
