Can you ban or warn the user LDSatoko
- Seriously they engage in edit wars or just revert edits for no apparent reason. They don't really contribute in useful ways beyond adding useless categories.--Crimson Moon1 (talk) 16:31, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
- I wish it didn't come to this but I think you should give LDSatoko a serious warning about his edit wars. He keeps reverting my edits in Rhea Silvia despite that being her complete name both IRL and in Fate/EXTELLA material, and changes all edits to Silvia instead. In the past I've also had to protect a bunch of articles for 24 hours cause he stops at nothing to undo someone elses edits.GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 07:50, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
Is there any way to determine whether 164.166.223.29 is LDSatoko?GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 18:20, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- I’m not however. 164.166.223.29 19:20, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Christ, I do not understand their inablity to just stop editing for two weeks. No way of doing anything like a checkuser on Wikipedia, but those edits are clearly them, so guess that's that for their account. Though they seem to have a dynamic IP, so keeping them gone may be another story. EGGS (talk) 20:44, 3 May 2022 (UTC)

6000Divinity might be a LDSatoko alt account, they do the same things (adding a ton of categories to articles) and randomly reverting edits. Even if they aren't an alt account I'm having the same problems with them as I did with LDSatoko.--Crimson Moon1 (talk) 11:01, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
Taigong Wang citation copy/paste
Hello EGGS,
I saw your message regarding the copy/paste of the information from the translated profile for Taigong Wang, Quasi-Dragon Divine Beast - Sibuxiang, and God-Striking Whip. I personally am okay with having summarized or paraphrased excerpts and not directly copy/paste like you mentioned, as long as accurate and reliable information is conveyed to the many readers who rely on the TYPE-MOON wiki and community. That being said it seems like of the three pages you revised 2 of which have been reverted back by possibly unaware editors and members, I'm not sure if you'd like them to rephrase it to avoid plaguerism or keep it as is. I didn't revert them back to your edits as of yet, as some of them have multiple edits on top of them now and I did not wish to cause any edit/revision wars, especially as I was not certain whether you were okay with these edits and the current information presented. That being said, it's probably best to keep on three pages consistent in terms of the format and cited information presented regardless of if we keep the recent edits or revert back to no direct copy/paste information, especially as one of the Noble Phantasm pages is effectively blank currently when there is profile information available to be summarized.
ArcaneX (talk) 17:49, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, anything that's a direct copy/paste should be removed or edited. It's fine if some phrasing is similar or identical should the act of trying to rephrase it end up just being counterproductive. We mostly just want to avoid the entire text being lifted from the profile, and we want to avoid the inconsistent tone that comes from dumping them without even the most basic of editting. First Hassan profile
Why were the changes to First Hassan page reverted? The message is:
"It's a special note in his mats profile. Some others like Caster Nero have it as well."
But unlike Nero caster, his profile, which is the linked reference, does not mention it at any point.
- It's in the material book profile. Not sure if the reference is pointing to the wrong one due to improper naming. EGGS (talk) 19:16, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

User:LDSatoko's aggressive revisions
I'd like to make my own complaint about this user. My apologies if I'm being overly liberal with the phrasing in my edits, but it also seems like they're just rejecting anything but the exact wording of one fan's translation.

- The edit to Kingprotea was overly speculatory. All we have is a name and nothing more currently, so there is no way to connect them at the moment. Same with the speculation on the character list. Only statements that can be directly sourced should be mentioned. Fafnir, looks like they undid the edit errors due to some glitch in Fandom's editor and combined the two versions. The entire article for Sibuxiang needs to be rewritten, so I'd say that one is kind of moot. Main thing is to stick to direct statements for sourcing, and try to use the source editor. The visual editor breaks things much more often. EGGS (talk) 03:14, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Nikonu image changes
I haven't been able to get an answer from them in regards to this, but do you know why they keep converting the FGO game images into JPG and replacing the PNGS? -- Banksia (talk) 02:21, 11 February 2022 (UTC)

Fan? art by illustrators
This is because the current profile picture for Sigma is art posted by Shidzuki Morii, the FSF mangaka, on her Twitter, I question if it is pertinent to make it the profile pic when it is closer to fanart than official art, unlike the previous picture here. I'm wondering what the wiki's policy is for art posted on official TM illustrators' Twitter or other sites such as Pixiv and if they can be added, since she also did art of the Quartet and art of Orlando/Dumas that I considered adding. Personally, it doesn't bother me, as the Toaru Majutsu no Index Wiki does it, though it sticks those quasi fanarts to the Gallery section, which would be Appearance here and where I think they could be put. What do you reckon? The Lord Reader (talk) 05:55, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Personal illustrations ultimately aren't "official" so I would avoid using those as the profile image, for sure. -- Banksia (talk) 13:40, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Posting them to galleries is fine, but I'd agree we shouldn't have them as the main picture (excluding it somehow being the only depiction). EGGS (talk) 14:08, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

Machine God Terminals
Why are you deleting the Terminal Sections? I though we had an "Alternate Versions" section for a reason. According to Atlantis, the terminals aren't even the same being as the original mecha. They are Familiars that can think independently and they even have their own emotions in some cases. Mecha Artemis and terminal artemis are more different than Beast III/R and Kiara Sessyoin (Alter Ego), yet both versions of kiara have their own individual article but I can't split the machine gods in different sections? It makes no sense to me. There are statements that only apply to the terminal counterparts. I just don't see a logical argument as to why they houldn't be split. GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 06:35, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- There's no fundamental distinction in the story. The human forms are the main representation of those three in the story. That's how the reader interacts with them for the majority of their screen time. To stick them at the bottom makes little sense. There's no separation of abilities because the reader never fights them, so there's no particular context that needs to be separated. At best, you just need a line in the abilities section saying their human forms display a lesser form of their full authority like normal. Artemis is particularly different because she is far more broken than Demeter and Aphrodite, so the human form has her own opinions and agenda separate from her god form. Similar to the divided consciousness of Hephaestus, they have a similar base but have different conclusions due to being so broken. Divided forms, authorities, and personalities are kind of how gods work, but the three on Olympus are quite uniform in opinions and actions. EGGS (talk) 12:16, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Problems with User:LDSatoko
LDSatoko keeps reverting edits without engaging in any discussions or leaving comments on why they think said edits are wrong and engage in edit warring. 172.58.171.243 Vandalism
Apologies for the bother, it seems we have another case of vandalism again. 172.58.171.243 made a rather unscrupulous and frankly uninspired edit to the Neco-Arc Bubbles page, I’ve reverted the changes thus far, though perhaps further action should may be considered. It seems they had prior history doing this on the Excalibur page as well back in October.

- Unfortunately it would appear 180.191.173.82 has instigated another case of vandalism on the Ritsuka Fujimaru page. I’ve reverted their edits twice so far, though it’s probably best to block them as well. Thanks

Singularity Histories
Hi, EGGS,
Wasn't sure where else to bring this up and I forgot I had an old account here that I figured I'd dust off to use for a tad more legitimacy than a random IP address.
In regards to the recently reverted "expanded histories" in the first couple Singularity pages - I'm the user who originally wrote them on TV Tropes months ago, stopping at Okeanos. While I can provide some level of proof I am the same TV Tropes user, I'm not entirely sure how I can securely do so since it's been a while and I can't find the private messaging feature, if it hasn't been removed entirely anyway.
Back then, I was originally going to continue writing them on TV Tropes, but after noticing that the Avalon le Fae summary was purged completely for being too long, I decided to stop at Okeanos, and only much later did I decide I might as well move them to the actual Type-Moon wiki and continue there, with the use of proper wiki format and actual links and stuff.
So I might as well ask here and now whether it's okay for me to move over my old summaries from TV Tropes and continue writing them, and how to give proof that I wrote them if it's needed, or just rewrite them entirely, etc.
Thanks for your help. InfinityStoned (talk) 12:28, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- You'll need to check how they license user-generated text. Some sites take ownership of user-generated text, while others allow free usage with attribution. EGGS (talk) 14:15, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. After looking into it, TV Tropes licenses under CC BY-NC-SA, which if I'm understanding it correctly allows usage with attribution, link to license and non-commercial use. Though in your opinion, would it be safer to simply write them myself from scratch (I am personally unfamiliar with the proper attribution methods)? Again, thanks for your help in this. InfinityStoned (talk) 14:33, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Presumably should be fine so long as you link to the original in the edit summary and follow any other attribution requirements they list. EGGS (talk) 18:58, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice and help. I'll provide a link to the original TVT pages and specify+link the license itself in the edit summaries. InfinityStoned (talk) 00:29, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Tsukihime route pages
Would it make sense to add pages for each Tsukihime remake route (e.g. pages called "Tsukihime (route)" and "Rainbow in the Night (route)"), giving a synopsis and list of bad ends? The OG Tsuki routes weren't named so I don't think it'd be necessary for them ~~ IST O L E T H E P I ES π 04:10, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
- That'd be fine. I think the original does have chapter titles that could be used to separate sections, so could do it for both if you want. EGGS (talk) 12:26, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

Astolfo confirmed as a man.
Hello, in Fate/EXTELLA LINK Astolfo has been confirmed as a man. Could you please update he's wiki page to reflect that ?
- His page already lists him as male under the gender information from Fate/Apocrypha, and is called "him", "he", etc. What do you mean? Zahadrin (talk) 16:51, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
There is still ??? as a second option listed which is no longer valid due to confirmation of him being a man in fate/extella link
- Because that's what his gender is listed in the Grand Order Material books. It is still official for him to be referred to as such, and doesn't need changing. Zahadrin (talk) 05:39, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Outer Universe and Cosmology
Hello. I would like to ask your opinion on the following question: based on the dialogue between Raum and Zepar, Outer Gods exist outside Our Universe (to which the Root and its domain belong, because Demon-Gods know about Parallel Worlds and Root and even they referred to Outer Gods [Yog-Sothoth] as things that completely foreign to the Universe and it's rules. Zepar even expressed scepticism about Yog-Sothoth's existence). Do you think it is necessary to indicate this in the Yog's profile? MrUnderlord (talk) 8:56, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Edit
If I want to make edits to a page without unconfiguring anything, how do I do it step by step?
- Instead of clicking on "Edit Page" to edit articles, which will automatically put you in Visual Edit mode, instead click on the three points besides the Edit button, and choose the first option "Edit Source" so you can edit in Source mode and not mess u pages. - How is my edit on Mystical Eyes of Death Perception? Acceptable?
Archetype Earth
Hello, hope you're doing well. I have been wondering for a while if Archetype: Earth shouldn't be removed from original Arcueid's page and made into her own page like Red Arcueid is? The "Forms and Alternate Versions" section of Arcueid's article has her as the only example, when the other alternates have their own pages (Red Arcueid, Extra Arcueid) or are a footnote (Phantasm-Moon), making its relevance doubtful when it's so short. I am also thinking of adding some images of her from the MB Nightmare manga and it would work better if it was separate. I'm asking for permission first since it would be a big change and I don't want to hinder anybody. So yay or nay? The Lord Reader (talk) 18:39, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's sensible at this point. One should probably be made for Remake as well. EGGS (talk) 18:42, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
Class Skills in FGO
While passive abilities like Divinity and Magic Resistance are listed as Class Skills in FGO, this is just done to make them distinct in their status as passive abilities as opposed to active abilities. Lore wise, Divinity is not a Skill belonging to the Rider-class. To prevent confusion, I believe its best that only skills belonging to a Servant's class should be under the Class Skill tabs of FGO Servants, not all their passive abilities.-Appelmonkey (talk) 21:23, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- As I said, the Fate/Grand Order materials retain the same format, for whatever reason. Just take it as yet another of the many FGO-only quirks presented by the Chaldea system in-universe and gameplay/meta reasoning out-of-universe. EGGS (talk) 21:44, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- The material books are there to show the information already available in the game and personal skills like Divinity are likely only listed that way to reflect how they are listed in the game (which is done for practical reasons not related to lore). Besides, that quirk isn't referenced in the story is an actual thing like the class-type advantages and disadvantages.-Appelmonkey (talk) 22:00, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- The materials are proper Servant profiles that show the management of Class Skills is not simply considered a gameplay mechanic. Things do occassionaly change between the game profile and mats profile, but that has remained consistent. Whether laziness, maintaining consistency, or an in-universe quirk, we don't know, but FGO is a special case regardless. EGGS (talk) 23:22, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- If I were to guess, those Skills were put under Class Skills to remain consistent with FGO's in-game database, as it might cause confusion for the players to suddenly see Skills that were listed as 'Class Skills' in the game suddenly appear under Personal Skills. While it would make sense to follow that lead if this were a wiki purely for FGO, doing so would be inconsistent with the information given on the Servant and Class pages. And without an in-universe explaination, wouldn't it make more sense to turn to a meta explaination for this?-Appelmonkey (talk) 12:00, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

Hello Eggs! Just a friendly message!
I just wanted to say as someone who's recently become interested in fate lore, I see how you've been keeping out political nonsense off of the wiki and have been doing your best to ensure that information about it is as honest to the intent of the author as you can make it. Recently, on a lot of fandom wikis I won't mention, I've found a lot of huge issues regarding people hyper-politicizing certain characters or pushing heavy assumptions into things where it otherwise doesn't really belong. I've even seen Fandom staff directly get involved with one which was frightening to see, as they essentially forced a corpo sanctioned identity clarification on a character in spite of the author saying that their gender identity was ambiguous. Obviously in this setting I am referring to seeing many years ago how you stopped the obnoxious astolfo grift before it even began, but upon looking even further into it and seeing several of the edits you've made as well as the directions you've taken this wiki, I'm genuinely impressed and wanted to thank you and wish you the best personally from the bottom of my heart :) Have an amazing day, mkay!
Removal
I don't like asking this, but can you remove the User Appelmonkey? He's been a nuisance to a number of pages, and I know you, I, and a few others have had to undo his edits a number of times, even after posting warnings... Pretty sure we haven't fixed every skill alter they've made. Zahadrin (talk) 00:15, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

England
Proposal to change the England article to Britain (or United Kingdom). Not sure why it was decided to make it England when the section in Locations is not called that, but it seems to just make things too complicated. The page seems to realize England is not Britain sometimes, sometimes equating the two sometimes not (the explanation that Britain is the navel of the world/Avalon makes far less sense in an article about England). Characters born in other constituent regions, like Gray (Wales) or Gawain and his siblings (Orkney, Scotland), have been put in regardless of sense. It's just overall awkward and inaccurate.
