Be'ze (ベ・ゼ, Be ze?) is the twenty-fifth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors in the Tsukihime Remake series.
Profile
Background
Be'ze taught both Vlov Arkhangel and Ciel swordplay.[1] Be'ze was defeated by Ciel, the Idea Blood kept in her possession afterwards. She developed the magecraft Calvaria Galgalim based upon knowledge from the fight, utilizing the captured Idea Blood to initialize it.[2][3]

Abilities
Dead Apostle Ancestor
In Tsukihime Worlds Be'ze was a Rank IX Dead Apostle, possessing one of the Idea Blood and the Principle, Sword (剣, Ken?). As such, Be'ze was among the very pinnacle of Dead Apostles above the Successors who not even True Ancestors can lay a finger on.[4] He was a big name that would require the Burial Agency to take on.[5] He was eventually exterminated by his last student Ciel, the Seventh member of the Burial Agency.
Be'ze was known as a swordmaster.[1] He crafted a sword style named Phase Slip Swordmanship (位相滑剣, Isō Nameken?) ("The soul is sound") for vampire extermination. While the soul, a higher-dimensional entity, is impervious to direct manipulation, its waves can be perceived. This impact transmission technique, a breach into divine domains, delivers a physical blow capable of penetrating the ethereal. For vampires, blood and the soul are synonymous. Thus, an undead struck by this sword style would suffer the depletion of its internal blood (life stock).[6]
Vlov mentions in Melty Blood: Type Lumina that his primary weapon was a sword made out of dragon bone.

A halo deployed in the stratosphere, blazing with focused sunlight.
A reflector created with magecraft. The 50km long, 10km wide blade of light beaming towards the surface can be compared to an aurora possessing mass, or a guillotine of light. It is High Thaumaturgy that Ciel came up with after defeating the Ancestor who was her sword mentor; apparently she uses his Idea Blood to initiate it.
After firing at full power against Arcueid the remaining magical energy was used to launch one last shot, and it was this move that turned the tables in the endgame.
- ↑ Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- - Midnight Rainbow route - True End - Day 15: "Cloudless Blue"
