Mio Saiki (斎木 みお?) is a character in the Tsukihime Remake series.

Profile

Background

Mio is a middle schooler on the run from her family. Due to her last name Saiki, it is implied that she is a member of the Saiki branch family of the Tohnos and possibly a relative of Goto Saiki.

Appearance

Personality

Mio ran away from home and does not intend to find a job or go to school, instead just camping out on a Tokyo rooftop for the time being.[2]

While Mio herself did not appear in the game Type Lumina, her tent appears in "Actions in the Lower World" battle stage.

Development

The Saiki family was first mentioned in the Kagetsu Tohya side story Red Demon God, where the head of the family was killed by Kiri Nanaya.

Creation and Conception

Takashi Takeuchi designed her imagining a girl with a subdued color scheme, but still memorable. He states that she's in Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- just to introduce herself.[1]
