Should archer's chant for his UBW be included?

Probably not, so long as there's a link to the Unlimited Blade Works (Reality Marble) page, as both versions of the chant are there. And he can cook pretty good, too: A+ Cuisine skill ;).--Twelveseal 05:40, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Durandal, the Peerless Sword

His page says Archer uses it during close-range combat, but has he ever Projected Durandal? If so, when? And does it say where he would've seen it? WestleyCole (talk) 23:11, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

As a future version of Shirou, he has theoretically copied and projected everything Shiro has, so depending on route through the visual Novel, he probably copied it while Gilgamesh was firing it at him. As for when he actually used it in close combat, I have no idea, I was under the impression he rarely, if ever uses a sword besides Kanshou and Bakuya in combat.Hawkeye2701 (talk) 23:50, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
He uses Caladbolg and Durandal during the final part of his fight with Shirou. EGGS (talk) 00:04, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
He is the future version of Shirou, he has pretty much everything that Shirou has, plus, he's from the future, he may encounter more weapons than Shirou currently Vergilheartnet (talk) 13:09, July 15, 2013 (UTC)

Did he use UBW against Berserker

Out of curiosity, did Archer use UBW on Berserker in the Fate route? The only indication I saw in the game was that Berserker was heavily battered but since Caladbolg II managed to take away one life, he could have used some other NP. Just wanna know if it was something the anime added in. --111.68.32.99 09:49, September 22, 2013 (UTC)

Given Archer was injured by Sabre early in the route, and the extensive damage done in the Einzbern castle, it is unlikely that he used Unlimited Blade Works in the route. But hey, if it is cool that way in your mind, no one is gonna stop you. It could have happened. The possibility is not none-existent.--Waifu slayer (talk) 14:01, September 22, 2013 (UTC)

Decisive Battle ~ Hollow scene

A soft chuckle escapes from Archer.
Should he take Saber's courtesy as kindness or cruelty?
When in battle, the knight carried both within her.
There had been a time when he found that contradiction, that self-destructive strength of the heart that would have eaten away a mere human holder, to be beautiful.

(changes to Saber's "are you my master?" picture)

No. Even now, he can't make himself forget it.
Long ago, there had been a meeting.
It probably hadn't lasted even a second.
Yet.
Even should he fall to the depths of hell, he will recall that image vividly.
Locks of hair illuminated by moonlight.
...If he shuts his eyes, even now that image will remain in his heart.

(changes BG back to central building)

"I lose this time, it seems..."

(dialogue continues)

I wonder what the heck he says when "nobody noticed". You would have to be pretty stupid to miss it was viewed from Archer's memory. However, you wrote "the very start of the prologue". What does that mean? The very start of the Decisive Battle is just Shirou and Saber going to the bridge, and the very start of hollow ataraxia is A's ghost story. This thing I wrote is from the middle-end of the scene. Sandubadear (talk) 02:54, October 6, 2014 (UTC)

Nasu was surprised that nobody realized the connection to the very first scene of F/sn, meaning that the very first scene of the VN is from Archer's timeline. EGGS (talk) 16:15, October 6, 2014 (UTC)
Well, basically everything that happened to Shirou until Saber attacked Archer, also happened to Archer-Shirou. There's not any difference until the timeline split. Sandubadear (talk) 18:11, October 6, 2014 (UTC)

Saber and Lancer

Can someone tell me why this page for the longest time had the completely canon fact that Archer could not fight Saber or Lancer in a close quarters fight without having observed them before and even then, he can only  put up a defensive fight and now that piece of information is gone? It even had an image of his fight against Lancer and everything.

Yesterday, I added that bit of information again, but it got deleted.

I think not putting this in results in extremely biased and incorrect information, so can the bigger editors at least change that or not delete my changes?

It's already described in the Eye of the Mind section. EGGS (talk) 18:39, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Nice! Could you add the image where he fights Lancer in the prologue though. I think it would help that bit of information stand out more and would be a good aesthetic addition to his page

Archer's Lover

Okay I've got some info on the lover and according to what I've found, it is confirmed that Archer's Lover was not Saber, Rin or Sakura. The Players of the Games (Fate/stay night and Extra) I've interviewed have all cofirmed this. Stating that in his original Universe Shirou never developed a relationship with any of the Heroines.

Also while not really important, they even suggested that there's some kind of possibility that he may have even killed Sakura and Rin during the Grail War in his universe (althought I, think that's absolute bull, because 1) I can't believe it and 2) I myself have played the games and saw and heard no such thing ever occuring.ChroniclerV (talk) 18:06, January 7, 2015 (UTC)

Well anyway since this is out of the TM Company's source info, and purely Independent research. It may not be valid for sure. So we just need to wait.ChroniclerV (talk) 18:09, January 7, 2015 (UTC)

Wait, what about Saber?Samever (talk) 19:14, January 7, 2015 (UTC)

Saber freaking disappears after the grail war like in the freaking Fate Route. Since this universe is pretty much Fate route with no ShirouXSaber, it is obvious some of the same events occur.ChroniclerV (talk) 19:52, January 7, 2015 (UTC)

I thought so, Cause I remembered that Archer is from a universe where he never had any of the Heroines as his Girlfriend/Wife/Lover.118.101.57.52 15:43, January 24, 2015 (UTC)

Archer's Cloak Origin

Was it really Ciel who gave him the Coat before becoming a counter guardian? there's no reference of something proving that, it could be an INVENTION of the fandom! Blaxe X (talk) 10:04, November 21, 2017 (UTC)

Edit

I'm sorry, I don't know how to fix this, but someone fowled it up...Zahadrin (talk) 16:33, August 16, 2019 (UTC)

I don't know what's going on but when I try to edit this using Source Editor, a lot of the coding gets replaced with {{EMIYAtabs}} making this impossible to edit. Something somewhere is very wrong. Banksia (talk) 00:30, August 20, 2020 (UTC)
Is there any way to rework the article to stop the coding from messing up? This is happening EVERY. TIME. someone makes an edit. Banksia (talk) 01:42, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
It happened to me yesterday and EGGS fixed it up somehow. I didn't know this kept happening.--GuessWhoYoutube (talk) 07:53, August 22, 2020 (UTC)

Archer's armor and bow

Is there any source that these are made of a material not yet discovered by mankind? It was added here by a user back in 2009, and I haven't been able to find a single official source supporting that. ~~ IST O L E T H E P I ES π 23:30, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

CM2 says the bow might be made of some futuristic carbonfiber-like material so maybe a misphrased quote from that statement? I really feel like I've seen it somewhere, but might just be circular reporting. EGGS (talk) 00:30, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

Archer and Honkai: Star Rail

How come his roles in Honkai Star Rail hasn't been added along with the character lores. Also, someone needs to do something about that huge space between the overview and Appearance because that's so much space for no reason, unless the page would break if it was fixed.

The Honkai: Star Rail is still in development and missing several parts. Most of what is related to it should be directed to this page Fate/stay night (Unlimited Blade Works) x Honkai: Star Rail collaboration. Your work has been placed there while it's being reviewed.GameCrusher55 (talk) 17:20, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
