Sayo Matou (馬頭小夜^?) is a member of the Disciplinary Committee at Asagami Private High Class Academy in Hana no Miyako. She's also known as Mezu.^[1]

She appears on patrol with Yumi Gotou, during which they see Sakura Kurogiri pursued by Ami Kuzuki. They take off after them and try to fight Ami, but get beaten up for their troubles. They later report what happened to Kureha Kishimi.^[1]
