The Department of Zoology, Chimera (動物科, Dōbutsu-ka?) is the fifth (V) Department of the Clock Tower branch of the Mage's Association.
History
Clock Tower Department names are normally that of their founder, but it is called Chimera because the founder of the Department is unknown. As of modern day, it is under Gaiuslink jurisdiction.[1]
The Gaiuslink family obey the orders of the Barthomeloi family to such a degree that they're referred to as "puppets."[2]
Characteristics
Transformation Magecraft, or Shapeshifting, falls under Zoology's purview.[3][4]
The Departments of Creation and Zoology often present research about partially organic dolls, like the Mystic Castles of Van-Fem, especially the latter since working with all sorts of animals and mystic beasts is their thing.[5]
