Identity

Also known as Bao Si of Zhou (周の褒姒^?). In many of Tamamo-no-Mae's legends, it is said that she washed up in Japan after committing all kinds of atrocities in China and India. In these legends, Tamamo-no-Mae is regarded as the same entity as Daji of Shang, Lady Kayou of Magadha, and Bao Si, however, Tamamo strongly denies being the same person as Daji. On the other hand, the fact that she doesn't address the other two isn't overlooked by Tamamo Cat. Cat claims that Tamamo did in fact do all the things attributed to those two.^[1]

Tamamo-no-Mae claims that Bao Si and Daji are as different as chalk and cheese sticks.^[1]
