The Seventh/Imitation Singularity (第七/模倣特異点?), originally recognized as just the Seventh Singularity, is one of the seven Imitation Singularities manifested by Beast VI/S during the Human Order Annihilation incident. Located in 2655 BC Mesopotamia, its Humanity Foundation Value is A++ and it has no known Bestia Coccinea designated to it. Meant to copy the singularity of Babylonia of the Human Order Incineration Incident, it was the seventh of the seven Imitation Singularities visited by Chaldea Security Organization in the undertaking of the Grand Order to restore Earth and the Human Order.

The events of Chaldea's visit to this Singularity are covered in the seventh chapter of Fate/Grand Order Arcade, Critical Prosperous City: Babylon (臨界繁栄都市 バビロン, Rinkai Han'ei Toshi - Babiron?), Taboo-Devouring King of Heroes (悪食の英雄王, Akujiki no Eiyū-Ō?).

Setting

FGO Arcade Banquet of Vice

Beast VI/S destroyed Uruk and from Gilgamesh's remains she created a clone of him.[1][2] She then used a Holy Grail to call Nebuchadnezzar II's soul into the era and transplanted it into her clone of Gilgamesh. Enticed by Beast VI/S and his own desire, Nebuchadnezzar II.5 (calling himself Gilgamesh II[3]) accumulated wealth and rebuilt Babylon into an expansive and prosperous golden city comparable to a 21st century metropolis.[1][4] Beast VI/S then began accumulating the sins born forth into her Grail as nourishment for her development into a fully matured Beast like she has done with her other imitations of Goetia’s Singularities.[1][5]

Noah was summoned to defeat Beast VI/S, though he didn’t know that was the purpose of his summoning at the time. But he was gravely injured by Draco, who then left the Singularity. Fortunately, Noah survived by entrusting his Saint Graph and power to Captain Nemo, and started calling himself “Captain”.[5] Some time later, he met Tamamo-no-Mae and Sakata Kintoki, both of whom were summoned as Stray Servants, and allied with them.[6]

Within the Imaginary Number Space, Tiamat from the World of Fate/Grand Order sensed Beast VI/S was plotting to destroy humanity. Not wanting Chaldea’s defeat of her to be rendered meaningless and wishing to protect her “children”, Tiamat sent an Alter Ego of herself to the World of Fate/Grand Order Arcade. After arriving in the era, she established a secret hideout in one of Babylon's underground passageways. At some point, she became associated with Noah.[6]

Enkidu was also summoned as a Stray Servant and they learned of Uruk's destruction.[2]

History

Ritsuka and Mash arrive in Babylon and immediately see it has deviated from the Proper Human History, as it is a golden city comparable to a 21st century metropolis. While searching for information, though, they’re identified by the city troops as people who shouldn’t exist and are attacked. The soldiers’ capabilities are superhuman and when the situation starts to look dire, Tiamat arrives to help Ritsuka and Mash. After repelling the soldiers, Tiamat has the pair follow her.[4]

There she confesses she was once a Beast who manifested in Mesopotamia. She was told by the Ritsuka and Mash she knew that it was okay for her to finally rest. While those words felt lonely, they also made her proud, and so she returned to the Imaginary Number Space. She sensed, however, that there was a Beast trying to undo all of Chaldea’s hard work. Because Chaldea’s loss will render her defeat meaningless, she created a vessel for herself and sent it to this world.[6]

Tiamat then explains the king of Babylon is an evil tyrant and was previously dead. A male Servant says the king’s resurrection is thanks to the Holy Grail, which is also now in his possession. He refuses to give True Name, only saying that he is a nobody; Tiamat calls him Captain. Captain notices that the city troops have released Magical Beasts after them. Ritsuka’s party gets ready to fight them when they notice Sakata Kintoki and Lancelot also fighting Magical Beasts while damaging the city. Ritsuka decides to help them, so the group cut through the monsters to reach Kintoki and Lancelot. They end fighting though thanks to Tiamat wanting to punish them for being “mischievous children”.[6]

After Lancelot is defeated, Tamamo-no-Mae arrives and thanks Ritsuka’s party for their help. She explains Lancelot was suddenly summoned while she and Kintoki were doing recon on Babylon and started rampaging. Kintoki tried to stop him, but the situation quickly turned into a fight, the commotion of which attracted Magical Beasts. Tamamo thanks the group for their help and reveals that she and Kintoki are familiar with Captain. Kintoki explains they were all summoned as Stray Servants and teamed up for the sake of restoring the Human Order. Ritsuka then temporarily contracts with Lancelot on Captain’s recommendation to keep him from going berserk again.[6]

Believing they now have enough firepower (not counting Captain as he claims he wasn’t summoned to fight), Ritsuka’s party assault the giant ziggurat, the king’s domicile. Jeanne Alter and Blackbeard, both of whom were summoned by the Grail to serve as “Apostles of Desire”, bar their way. The group defeat them and continue onward to the throne room.[7] They eventually reach the throne room on the top floor and meet the king, Gilgamesh II. He proves too powerful for them, however, so they retreat immediately.[3]

Back in her hideout, Tiamat reveals she couldn’t find either Uruk or the original Gilgamesh. The group still considers the possibility that Gilgamesh II is Gilgamesh resurrected by the Grail, but Enkidu tells them that Gilgamesh II isn’t the King of Heroes. Enkidu confesses they're a Stray Servant and says they know what happened to Uruk. They also sensed the coming of Chaldea and has decided now is the time to defeat their friend’s impostor. But as they alone aren’t sufficient, Enkidu tests the group’s capabilities to see if they can defeat the Fake King. After the group proves themselves, Enkidu reveals Gilgamesh II is a clone made from the original’s remains possessed by the soul of Nebuchadnezzar II. Mash knows, though, that it’s impossible for a soul to cross into a different era by itself. She suspects someone used the Grail to summon Nebuchadnezzar II’s soul into the era and transplanted it into a clone of Gilgamesh they created.[2]

Ritsuka’s party return to the throne room and defeats Nebuchadnezzar II. But afterward a tsunami of unprecedented scale begins approaching Babylon. Captain deduces that while Nebuchadnezzar II created the prosperous city of Babylon, he never once used the Grail. Nebuchadnezzar II confesses the Grail called his soul into era and incarnated him in the clone of Gilgamesh, and confirms Captain’s deductions. The reason he didn’t use the Grail was because it’s “her” possession. Captain knows “she” is the one who called Nebuchadnezzar II’s soul to the era and calls out to her, knowing she was watching their battle, and identifies her as Draco. Ritsuka and Mash see she resembles Nero Claudius. Captain reveals Draco is the Grail’s true owner, and the one who enticed Nebuchadnezzar II to begin his evil reign, destroyed Uruk, and helped build Babylon. She is also the one who imitated the Singularities, connected many worlds, deceived Chaldea, and accumulated sins as nourishment. Captain reveals Draco is an Evil of Humanity, who collects humanity’s sins of pursuing the Holy Grail into her Grail. He identifies her as a Juvenile Beast, and changing his appearance, reveals he is Grand Rider Noah. He was summoned to defeat Beast VI, Draco, though he didn't know the reason at the time. Thus, he is glad he saved up his power for his battle against her. Draco reveals her name is false and points out the tsunami that will flood the city. Babylon is then flooded, with Draco calling it the end result of prosperity. Nebuchadnezzar II is satisfied with the outcome and dies, regretting he couldn’t build a perfect “city of evil”. Draco proclaims the most prosperous city was fated to be devoured by a great flood, and decides to fight Ritsuka's party.[1]

Noah reveals Draco is the origin of the Bestia Coccinea and further identifies her as Beast VI/Sodom’s Beast. He then entrusts the others with fighting her while he suppresses her Authority. Despite their efforts, Draco’s magical energy is only reduced by a negligible amount. Draco confesses he seeks humanity’s destruction, unlike Beast I, who sought to use humanity. With her imitations of the seven Singularities now complete, her path to Beasthood is open and at its destination, the final Singularity, she will reach full maturity. When that happens, it will be time for humanity’s destruction. Draco then leaves, inviting Chaldea to the Throne of Desires, where countless Chaldeas have poured all their desires into up until now.[5]

Everyone agrees everything went according to her plan, with Enkidu comparing her strategy to thrill-seeking. Noah says that behavior can be exploited and starts to disappear, having used his remaining magical energy suppressing the giant tsunami. He confesses Draco gravely injured him when he was first summoned, but he survived by entrusting his Saint Graph and power to another Heroic Spirit. He then disappears, followed by Kintoki, Tamamo, and Lancelot. Afterward, Tiamat gives Ritsuka and Mash the Grail that Draco was using.[5]
