Maanna (マアンナ, Maan'na?) is Space Ishtar's spaceship.[1]
Characteristics
Maanna is a modified version of an excavator designed for exploring ruins rather than a fighter.[1] Because it is an old model,[1][2] one nice side effect is that the better the energy you feed it, the better the output. [2] Even without going at full speed, Maana travels nearly at Speed of Light.[3] It has cannons, but is also runs a time particle accumulation sensor and 4D manipulator.[1] The cockpit's gravity controller is a cheap piece of junk, so jumping straight to a Forbidden Zone is not possible. The Maanna's a pretty old ship, so it just can't warp very far.[4]
Maanna's cockpit has two command seats and two crew seats.[1]
Variations
Battle in New York 2019
The Space Ishtar appearing in the Battle in New York 2019 event has her own version of Maanna, which doesn't resemble the one shown in Saber Wars II. Maanna is an enormous flying temple/spaceship that can send out a swarm of tiny ships. The Mini Maannas fire lasers that turn people into jewels, and they successfully turned most of the Servants in the Gilfest. Gilgamesh was the only one still alive after taking a direct hit from Maanna's Divine Raytribution. He is so stubborn he didn't even turn into a jewel, or a sheep.[5]
