Only Sane Ones

If I had to guess, our insane host back there is a Baltic Prussian Jew with an axe or two to grind, but that's purely speculative. Though really, am I the only one who thinks he's taking this far too seriously? Hawkeye2701 (talk) 17:20, April 4, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, IPs can be blocked, but we'd have to go to EGGs about it. And yeah, I can understand the hesitance to bring in someone like Judas, but really, these guys are goin' nuts about it. Anyway, welcome to the wiki. Hope that little display of insanity hasn't put you off, I've been here for ages and it's usually much calmer. Hawkeye2701 (talk) 18:44, April 4, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Recent Blogs

Hey Turtles. Honestly, I've no idea where to begin with that, the only reason I got involved was because somebody asked me to. From what I know, Oblivion Twilight doesn't exist, I've found zero sources for it, not even a reference to a project planned before Extra and Apocrypha to do with the Fate series, nothing. Having said that I'm pretty much following EGGS' lead on the whole, 'ignore it if it's not hurting anybody' policy.

As for the aggression, well a lot of that stems from Shawn Warrynn, the user, not the implied character. You recall his whole melt down over Judas the servant and stuff, and since Oblivion Twilight was first mentioned in regards to his blogs, there's people still concerned he's sock puppeting or whatever from what I can tell. Though Chronicler seems to be the one most out to get Shawn, but is also one of the ones saying Oblivion Twilight was a thing, so if it's sock puppeting, it's very elaborate sock puppeting.

Finally, when you say ufo anime, you mean the new UBW one? Personally, I like it. I think people complaining that it's rehashing old ground are getting too worked up since both the manga and movie before this were both UBW based and this is the only one they've complained about. Not to mention you can get a lot more into a 24 episode season than a 90 minute movie. It looks great, the music direction maybe isn't the best with obligatory Inception sound effects in places, but all in all I've been enjoying it, as someone who has yet to finish even the Fate Route of the original visual novel, I find it entertaining, action packed and I'm looking forward to seeing how it might diverge from previously established parts of the route given we were promised a unique spin and that Shirou would be a more hands on hero in this.

The complaints about it just really seem too soon and too childish to mean anything. Like someone saying they didn't like it cause this is supposed to follow the Fate/Zero anime and it would be too bad if Illya dies. I mean, UBW does that anyway and its still the sequel to Zero. The argument that that's something that happens in UBW isn't an valid reason to not like this anime in particular, but the route as a whole. By that reasoning they should hate the movie, the manga and that route all together. Even having said that, it's not happened. Such an event has yet to transpire, it might not even happen in this anime so there's no point complaining. Sorry, I'm starting to ramble here. Anyway, I like it, I look forward to the continuation. Yeah, I quite like that, at the same time the way they've avoided outright saying Lancer is under Kotomine's control is pretty cool, I thought that was a nice touch in the last episode. there are a few issues I'll admit, as usual, the size for Kanshou and Bakuya is forever inconsistant and I wish Rider had done a bit more as anime wise she has always been shafted pretty much. I did enjoy the Illya Rin contest, that was fun, I even have a humourous picture of that as my desktop. XD

All in all it does just seem that the arguments against it are quite dumb and not based on the actual content so much as its title alone. Hawkeye2701 (talk) 23:17, January 20, 2015 (UTC)
