Hello my name is C.R., I'm a rather reserved and laid back nineteen-year old, I have a passionate love for writing, movies, books, and of course anime. I have been a fan of anime since I was around eight-years old and have since been forever enthralled in the world of anime. My favorite anime series of all time are: "Darker than Black","Fullmetal Alchemist" ,"Vampire Knight- Vampire Knight Guilty","Cowboy Bebop", "Rahxephon", "The Big O", "The Big O II";"Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex"- "STAC 2nd Gig", ".Hack//Sign","Spice & Wolf" , and "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," "Fate/Stay Night," and "Fate Zero" to name a few.
I love to exploring life and finding new things to analyze about the world around(or at least I use to). However, due to a rather apathetic streak I haven't been as invested to explore or expand as much as I would like. I'm your average guy who just likes a good time, and at times the nice comfort of blisful solitude but I am not opposed to having fun or enjoying myself, much like drinking(I don't drink by the way, just saying) I like my fun in moderartions. I'd say more but sadly I have no idea what else to say so... there you go, that's me basically
The Greatest of All Heroes
The thunderous crash of the souls of epic heroes of history & mythology’s past battle one another for the chance to possess the fabled chalice; the wish granting instrument for which these wars are possible... the Holy Grail. The omnipotent wish fulfilling device that will grant any men or women’s) greatest and deepest desires; however, to gain such an item they must engage first engage in an all out battle royal to the death. They must utilize epic spirits of legends called Servants who are summoned to do their bidding on the battlefield to not only obtain The Grail for their master but, also for themselves; as they desperately have something they wish The Grail to grant. The Master must both eliminate six other Masters’ and Servants’ to win the Grail, and have their heart’s desires fulfilled. To commemorate the great heroes of legend that the “Fate” franchise uses to create some of the most interesting proxy-type characters yet, so I have decided to list my top nine favorite Servants of all time. So enjoy; and thank you for stopping by my profile page. =]
I. Archer
Archer was once a young boy who had a desire to save the world, a desire so great and so strong that he went to the ends of the earth; to the darkest corners of society to right the ills and the misdeeds of those who would dare prey on the weak and the down trotted. He did all these things in the name of truth, justice, honor…. and peace; however, no matter how many evil doers he sent back to the pits of hell, and no matter how many lives he saved in the end it was never enough; it would never be enough. He continued his quest to become the hero that he so long had dreamed of taking one misspent life after another, after another, after another, after another; never resting, never stopping to think if this was what was right or wrong. He did it for all those who died that day in the aftermath of the Fourth Holy Grail War, he wanted to save as many people as possible to try and make up for him being the only one who escaped that atrocity. He felt like he owed it to those who perished in the fire to do everything and anything he could for humanity, to serve humanity as its ever-vigilant protector and shining knight who would ride up on his mighty stead to vanquish the evils and banish the woes of the unfortunate.
Alas, this grand life achievement would be short lived; a great calamity struck and to save as many lives as his eyes could see he made a pact with the world to be a Counter-Guardian upon his death. However, his heroic sacrifices’ and selfless struggles soon came to a screeching halt when war broke out and he in turn (humanities solemn savior) made out to be the “mastermind” of the war and executed for his “crimes’’ against the human race; his life tragically, and unjustly, cut short. Archer must live out the rest of eternity as a once proud man who now serves the will of those no longer believe in the values of truth and justice; he now walks as a , “a lonely creature bound by the weight of his futile ideals.” A creature who once had a dream, a sweet childish dream, to be the savior of the human race; to follow his father’s example and be a champion of justice who, in his father’s place, would fulfill his dream and a childhood promise he made to all those that died that day. Archer is by far the Fate franchise’s most complex and thoroughly intriguing character; and a personal favorite of mine; I never tire of this ever fascinating character.
