Skills and Noble Phantasm

Are there really no Skills or Noble Phantasms listed on his Fate/Apocrypha character design? =/ Cause Balmung and his Dragon-Blood Invincibility is a definite in Noble Phantasms, but are they really not even listed? Zahadrin (talk) 23:51, December 7, 2012 (UTC)

The Fate/Complete Material IV book revealed small details of Siegfried. Unlike other servants details, they didn't add a noble phantasm column for him. His details were background, legend, parameter and concept art. Nikonu (talk)

I was wondering the same thing, I honestly hope they list his abilities and such soon because judging from his legend he should have quite a few. Apart from the obvious invincibilty, he should have the ability of the language of the birds( or Type-Moons version of of the abillity) as well as the gift of wisdom(prophecy) that stemed from him eating Fafnirs heart. Also, I hope they can explain the issue with Gram(found with Gil) and Balmung as to whether they are the same Noble phantasm. Guess all we can do is wait for more info.Syn v1 (talk) 08:55, April 5, 2013 (UTC)

Well I can basically guarantee one thing, Gil's Gram is not the same phantasm. Despite him calling it Gram, it's actually even the prototype to that, it's a nameless phantasm, so despite the name, the more famous sword that Seigfried wields, whether it be Gram or Balmung, is inheritantly different from the one Gilgamesh has. You could say the same for Gae-Bolg, but the abilities are still similar in the end, and that is my main point, Gram is a closer descendant of Balmung than Caliburn is, and Sigurd/Black Saber is the name of the hero whom Gram is said to have belonged to as stated in Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon content description, even the final attack of Balmung seems to reference to it being "the Sword of the Sun" as seen in the description of the Noble Phantasm :The twilight swells around the sword and it is released as a flash of light, a surging wave with the simple purpose of destruction. Saber_of_Black(Noble Phantasm Section). So as far as the information I have read so far, I would say that the Balmung weilded by Seig has to be the descendant of Gram(Nameless prototype) from the Gate of Babylon. But like I said before, I cant wait for more info to be given on Seig.Syn v1 (talk) 08:17, April 8, 2013 (UTC)

Wish

I'm a little curious as to what "Regret" Siegfried had in life. O.o I don't recall him abandoning anyone that would have caused his downfall.Zahadrin (talk) 23:55, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

Probably it's related with the tragic end between him and Brynhildr (the film suggests this idea). But it's better to wait for more information or more analysis about his legend. ギルガメッシュ♛〟 02:20, February 8, 2013 (UTC)
This is potential, but he never abandoned Brunhilde. o.o Rather, he never abandoned his wife, Kriemhilde either. And how will there be more info? Siegfried died. Twice. XD Unless this First Novel takes place already somewhat through the Grail War?Zahadrin (talk) 02:51, February 8, 2013 (UTC)

Suggested Revision

I have noticed a few glaring issues with this page. Quite a few areas of this page are noxiously written with inaccurate retellings of events. It is very clear that the writer or an editor of this page are not a fan of Siegfried. Literally every encounter described in this article diminishes Siegfried's character despite him going toe-to-toe with, and even stalemating with Karna and Achilles. Regardless of how I feel however, this page would benefit greatly by more neutral language and the removal of fabricated information. There is also a lot to be desired as only events from the Apocrypha anime are detailed here despite the source material going into detail and the fact that there are many more stories he shows up in. Overall this page is quite outdated and made up in many fields.

If that is the case, feel free to edit/remove the offending text, or you may tag any section that meets that criteria with {{NPOV}}. EGGS (talk) 01:38, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
