Demon Archer

Am I the only one who finds it hard to believe that that Archer is Nobunaga? Zahadrin (talk) 15:33, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

They apparently make jokes about how Akiha is descended from Oda, explaining their similar appearances. Also, Demon Archer uses muskets, which is a weapon Oda adopted for his army, if I recall. Also, Demon Archer has the emblem of the Oda clan on her hat. It's pretty obvious.--Otherarrow (talk) 16:38, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
The Muskets and Emblem I can understand. But the outfit is far from what they used during Nobunaga's Era. It looks more along the lines of what Germans or Russians used in the 17-1800s. Or, when you say comparing, do you mean the image they use is placing Akiha in Oda's shoes, so to speak? Zahadrin (talk) 19:42, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
I mean, according to a friend who has the comic, they explicitly compare Akiha to Oda in the dialouge. Oda has shown up in the comic in the form shown, so it's probably her "official" form. As for the outfit, who knows?--Otherarrow (talk) 20:45, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

If you're basing this on her wearing a uniform not of her era, I'd like to direct you to Gilgamesh, who wears full plate armour thousands of years prior to its invention, Cu Chulainn who wears a full body leotard with pauldrons, not really ancient Irish battle gear and a dozen other servants who outfits while maybe not as apocryphal, are still highly inaccurate for what someone of their era should be wearing.

In all likelihood they used this sort of military uniform as a visual metaphor for the whole Akiha comparison, making her look authoritarian and as you pointed out it's very reminiscent of more western styles, which Oda was known to have a fascination with. --Hawkeye2701 (talk) 22:15, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

That second part was what I am wondering. If it was an Akiha-depiction or really Nobunaga.

The first part: Gilgamesh wears what he wants, since if he were summoned without the armor, he'd either be naked or wear the royal garb you see in the credits scene of Fate/Zero. As for Cu Chulainn, that was more or less explained by the artist at the time. That's not to say I disagree with your statement, just that there were explanations made/possible. wukong

wukong is not the only character, so instead of putting here and looking weird, make a section in the List of minor characters in the Fate series. Sandubadear (talk) 22:51, July 26, 2014 (UTC)

There are a few other original characters like Nasu-Arc and some representation of Takeuchi, and filling out the quirks of the main characters is also possible. It's just that there is really nothing else to add without it being translated. The Servant listing is a subsection, so that is also part of the characters section.
