Explanations about the name change here: http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Fate/Hollow_Ataraxia:Release3.1_feedback#Caren.27s_name_is_mistranslated

Ahem, I can't see any. ~randomvisitor

It was there, but was later removed. I did some research on my own, and Hortensia is in fact a word, being an alternate name for the hydrangea plant, and it is a name, however it is a given name and not a family name. According to the thing before it was removed, The H in Hortensia is supposedly silent and Japanese wouldn't have a way to write that, but my research shows otherwise (on the H being silent at least). I can't say if the Japanese in Caren's last name would translate to Hortensia or not (though a quick google translate gives both Hortensia and Ortensia as possible translations. I know, google translate unreliable and all) So...Yeah. I am unsure what to make of this, but I do think it's at least plausible that "Hortensia" was intended? Someone should probably check on this.--Otherarrow (talk) 05:19, October 16, 2012 (UTC)
EDIT:According to an edit comment on the article itself "Hortensia" was used as an official romanization apparently. So OK then. Sorry for bringing this up again.--Otherarrow (talk) 05:21, October 16, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it's "Hortensia" in complete material V. The original guy who wrote that up there had some weird thing where he tried moving it because of his reasoning, rather than the romanization, and then immediately moved it back without any other talk about it. I then looked it up and found that he was inadvertently correct about it. EGGS (talk) 15:08, October 16, 2012 (UTC)

Likes?

So we have this:

>カレン・オルテンシア

>・身長/体重:156cm/40kg
>・スリーサイズ:B75/W54/H77
>・イメージカラー:銀
>・特技:祈り、悪魔祓い
>・好きなもの:トラウマつつき
>・苦手なもの:野蛮な男性
>・天敵:特になし

The "likes" was translated by google as "The pecking trauma". What the heck is that? Sandubadear (talk) 01:29, August 28, 2014 (UTC)

I used bing translator just now and it instead translates as "Poking the trauma". It's probably her habit of poking people's flaws (her father did that as well). Sandubadear (talk) 02:08, August 28, 2014 (UTC)
