Transmigration into One

I'm trying to build up enough data for an independant article on this ability, but I can't seem to find decent background information. I've done a fair bit of research, but all I keep finding are inconsistencies which I fear is all I'll get without a better understanding of the religion Vairocana stems from. From what I've researched thus far, I've reached a few walls.

Transmigration is pretty much reincarnation, which does appear to exist in certain sects of Buddhism, but not all of them. With the original Guatama Buddha teaching that no such thing as reincarnation existed. After that it gets a lot more complicated than I care to explain, but simply put, the transmigration part is confusing.

The "Into One" part I've generally taken at face value, reincarnation into one, as in a singular whole of some kind. I haven't found anything in my research that speaks towards a sort of collective consciousness or universal whole, but I have found two other things that may be the root of it.

"The Shingon Buddhist monk, Dohan, regarded the two great Buddhas, Amida and Vairocana, as one and the same Dharmakaya Buddha and as the true nature at the core of all beings and phenomena." This extract implies that Dharmakaya, an entity that is essentially one and the same as Vairocana is the root of all things. Which could be the "One" referenced.

The second and more likely interpretation in my opinion given the subject matter, is the concept of Śūnyatā, which is generally translated as "Emptyness". Essentially it's the root of the idea that nothing is permanent, that everyone is essentially destined to cease existing with the exception of enlightened beings like Vairocana. Given that this is an attack that is an instant game over attack, reducing everything to nothing more or less, I think this is a likely interpretation.

If anyone can give me a better idea on the Buddhist concepts, or even the literal japanese translations of the Kanji or something, just more data to help me make sense of this I would greatly appreciate it and it goes towards improving the wiki if I can get the relevant information. Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig Tree

"Unconditionally reduces damage from physical attacks, conceptual attacks, inter-dimensional attacks by an amount equivalent to his own HP. Also shuts out mental interference 100%. If it’s Saver who has attained the EX rank, it should be possible to tranquilly receive even the seven desires of man."

Ok, if this skill works exactly how it's described, how is it possible to hurt him if he rejects attacks that are unable to overcome his HP Limit? Zahadrin (talk) 05:14, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

1. That's flavour text not coded into the game.
2. Why is it hard to understand? It is a fixed damage reduction. So you kill him by doing damage that is twice his HP. Simple.

Sacred Fig localized

Forgive me for being dumb, but the article (and other related articles) says that Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig was localized as Sri Maha Bodhiya...and where exactly? Fate/EXTRA reveals next to nothing about Saver, not his identity, his skills, or even his stats. The only place it could be mentioned is if he uses it as one of his battle skills, but I don't recall him using such a skill and the page never listed it among his battle skills. Is there something I am missing? (Also, the problem of him using a skill that makes him more or less invincible as a temporary buff or whatever, but this is the same game that uses Tange Saber's "can do anything" skill solely to get more item drops)--Otherarrow (talk) 20:37, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

I think it's mentioned in Cu's profile under what his Divinity can affect. EGGS (talk) 20:42, June 8, 2014 (UTC)
Yep its in the Cu Chulainn matrix in the Divinity part, I've been going through the game and it does mention 菩提樹の悟り(Nikonu (talk) 21:00, June 8, 2014 (UTC))
I just checked, and it totally does. It even notes that Sri Maha Bodhiya/Sacred Fig is otherwise invincible.--Otherarrow (talk) 21:10, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig (yet again)

OK I defeated him with a level 40 Archer without even trying, I was just trying to stall him until the 14th turn so I could see his NP. And I have no idea what this skill does in-game, since he's that easy to beat. (Gawain and Arc were more troublesome, imo) Sandubadear (talk) 22:59, September 11, 2014 (UTC)

In game, Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig doesn't exist, since implimenting it would probably make the boss fight unwinnable. It's only mentioned in game in the Matrix entry for Cu Chulainn's Divinity and what it actually is (and that Savior had it) is only mentioned in the EXTRA Material. (Also, you though Gawain was tough? Savior out muscles Gawain easily)--Otherarrow (talk) 01:33, September 12, 2014 (UTC)
Like I said, I just used normal attacks on him and Guarded when he Guarded as well, but by the 14th turn he only had like 3k HP, and I only healed once, so yea he was pretty easy. Sandubadear (talk) 02:31, September 12, 2014 (UTC)
