| This is not Clairvoyance, but is quite literally, "one thousand eyes." Indra is sometimes depicted as a deity whose entire body is covered in a thousand eyes. One story tells that when the gods created the peerless beauty Tilottama from the finest treasures to defeat a powerful asura who ruled over the entire world, eyes sprouted all over Indra’s body so that he could gaze upon her. Another anecdote says that as punishment for attempting to seduce a sage’s wife, a thousand marks were cast on Indra's body, which eventually transformed into a thousand eyes.[1]
