Mr. Cellphone (ケータイさん, Kētai-san?) is a Mystic Code through which Caubac Alcatraz interacts with the outside world.

Profile

Background

Mr. Cellphone refers himself as Pakeshi (パケシ?), a nickname that Neco-Arc has given him.[citation needed] Mr. Cellphone spends his time in Ahnenerbe.

Appearance

Mr. Cellphone is a mysterious blue mobile flip phone with a male voice. The phone doesn't have waterproof function.

Personality

Caubac puts on a different persona when interacting with most of the cast. Mr. Cellphone is hostile to smartphones. Mr. Cellphone refers to Chikagi Katsuragi as Greenie (緑, Midori?). There is an ongoing gag where Mr. Cellphone would do something inappropriate and Chikagi would break him.

He displays his true nature when showing he is knowledgeable about the Burial Agency, Dead Apostle and Magecraft, not wanting to get involved with Ciel and Kirei Kotomine.

Role

Mahou Tsukai no Hako

It is hinted by Lorenz Trendel and Hibiki Hibino that the true identity of Mr. Cellphone is the Dead Apostle Caubac Alcatraz.

Fate/strange Fake

When Lord El-Melloi II ends up under house arrest in his own Clock Tower office by Policies, a mysterious cell phone colored a blue deeper than even lapis lazuli suddenly appears, ringing, in his cigar case.[1]

Now a smartphone, Mr. Smartphone is the true host of Azumi-no-isora.

Abilities

The phone is a Mystic Code, made by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg. It's original form has wings and handle, like Magical Ruby.[2] Whenever Chikagi breaks the phone, Mr. Cellphone somehow revives himself.

Mr. Cellphone has a digital camera function, but it was removed immediately when Mr. Cellphone took a happy embarrassment image of Hibiki and Chikage. However he had already backed up the important invaluable photo.[citation needed]

Development

Creation and Conception

Mr. Cellphone had his voiced debut by Daisuke Kishio in the TM Ace Bonus Theater Ahnenerbe ni Youkozo! - Fate/wondering journey- (TMエースおまけ劇場 アーネンエルベへようこそ! Fate/wondering journey?) section of the DVD TYPE-MOON MOVIE Ace bundled with TYPE-MOON Ace Volume 4.
