Great Three

The Great Three (グレートスリー, Gurēto Surī?) are the most powerful Ploys left behind by Yumina, the first generation Meinster Witch and Magician of the First Magic over a thousand years ago.[1] They are also referred to as Crown Phantasm: Supreme Illusion (至高の幻想(クラウン・ファンタズム), Shikō no Gensō(Kuraun Fantazumu)?).

Characteristics

The Great Three, Flat Snark, Thames Troll and Wandersnatch are capable of plastering a Texture from the Age of Gods on top of the modern world, the Mage's Association sees them as more expensive/precious/massive than whole kingdoms.[2] The heir of the Great Three seems to become something akin to a vessel for them, and Wandersnatch in particular will inhabit their body.[3]

     有珠の母は有珠を気遣って、なんとしても自分の子である有珠が「三大プロイ（つまり器物）」扱いされるのを避けたかった。だから、有珠以上のプロイを造ろうと躍起になり、橙子の手を借りたのである。
    Alice's mother worried deeply about her, and wanted to prevent her child from being treated as 'The Great Three Ploys (in other words, a vessel)' at any cost. That's why she was so frantic to create a Ploy better than Alice, and asked Touko for aid.
