Girls' Work (ガールズワーク, Gāruzu Wāku?) is an in-production anime project from TYPE-MOON and ufotable.
Story
Plot
The story involves a version of Shinjuku that has "become one" with Paris. The city is called "the city that dreams", and is mentioned to be the real main character of the story.

Development
It was announced as an all-ages visual novel in the June 2008 issue of Tech Gian along with Mahou Tsukai no Yoru and the Tsukihime remake. In December 2010, it was announced that Girls' Work would be released as an anime series instead of a visual novel. In March 2012, ufotable's founder, representative director, and president Hikaru Kondo, in an interview for Megami Magazine described project as "very dynamic one" and "most challenging work he has ever done".[1]The last time the project was spoken upon was autumn 2013 during Machi★Asobi vol.11 event, where studio ufotable presented their upcoming lineup of projects. ufotable reasured the audience that the project is still in development and they have not forgotten about it.[2] As of December 21, 2025, there have been no updates on its production.
Staff
The scenario will be written by ex-Liarsoft employee Meteo Hoshizora. Eri Takenashi is in charge of character design, and the background images accompanying the project announcement were done by Teikoku Shonen with lighting by Iuro.
