Story
Fate/Samurai Remnant Introduction is an adaptation of the beginning of the video game Fate/Samurai Remnant.
One night Miyamoto Iori is attacked by ninjas and Rider in the service of Yui Shousetsu, seeking to eliminate a rival Master before the Waxing Moon Ritual properly begins. Iori repeatedly asks his opponents who they are and why they are attacking him, but they do not answer. After defeating the ninjas, Rider overpowers him, amazing him that a person could have such strength and speed. Shousetsu introduces himself and attempts to kill him. Command Spells appear on Iori's hand and he accidentally summons Saber to defend him. Iori asks what is going on, but Saber calls him a fool. As Saber and Rider fight, they are interrupted by Lancer and Chiemon. Shousetsu and Rider pull back to observe the fight, and Saber and Lancer's fight sets the town on fire much to Iori's horror. As Saber prepares to use their Noble Phantasm on Lancer, the manga ends with shots of each Master declaring their individual desires for the Waxing Moon Ritual, ending with Iori saying he will protect the lives of everyone in Edo.
