DoppelgängerWP (ドッペルゲンガー?) is a Phantom incorporated into the Saint Graph of the Servant Assassin Yan Qing.

Profile

Background

Personality

Self-described as a "hapless wraith who can only survive in the space between darkness and rumor," Doppelgänger is a being that can become any other due to lacking a core self, but it also "can't be anything" due to a lack of innate goodwill or malice. As a result of fusing with Yan Qing in the Shinjuku Singularity, the manifested version separate from Yang Qing feels guilt for the actions of the Yan Qing of the singularity.[1]

Role

Fate/Grand Order

Subspecies Singularity I: Shinjuku

Yan Qing and Doppelgänger are fused together through the machinations of Demon God Baal. Through his numerous transformations, Yan Qing begins to lose himself.

Interlude: A Certain Chivalrous Man's Death

Abilities

Doppelgänger can completely copy the forms of others. In the capacity of Servants, it can copy some parts of Skills, but it cannot copy Noble Phantasms. Its innate abilities allow for complete alteration of its form in an unrestricted manner, allowing for potentially perfect imitations. While normally an ability near the class of a Noble Phantasm, the usage of the Skill Doppelgänger by Yan Qing is of a lesser rank due to his personal restricted usage of the Skill.[2]
