<p>At the end of UBW Shirou stops to talk to someone in a pretty much empty hallway at Clocktower. From what I've seen most, if not all, the people that have commented on that particular moment agree that the other individual is Waver Velvet from Zero. I like to agree and while an actual confirmed answer on that would be nice, I'm actually looking for something else. </p><p>When Rider first uses Ionian Hetairoi, there is an individual amongst the army who is dressed very differentlyfrom the rest of the soldiers. One with long black hair and facial features similar to or matching the individual everyone believes to be Waver in UBW. </p><p>So to give this a point, if that IS Waver at the end of UBW, then could it possibly be Waver in the Ionian Hetairoi? The heroic spirits are said to be able to come from any time, past, present, or future (thus Shirou being summoned as archer during the time he was alive in SN/UBW) so it doesn't seem implausible that, upon his death, Waver could actually join the ranks of Rider's army and appear in the Ionian Hetairoi. I've already sort of accepted my own headcanon but I wanna know what everyone else thinks. </p><p>To simplify: </p><p>1: Is it Waver in UBW? </p><p>2: Could Waver join Ionian Hetairoi? </p><p>3: Was that actually Waver in the first appearance of Ionian Hetairoi in Zero? </p>
