A piece of stone from the ruins of the city of Corinth,or a master-crafted, ancient Greek horse bridle.
﹂・・・ History ・・・﹁
Bellerophon is a tragic hero from Greek mythology, most famous for taming the winged horse Pegasus with a golden bridle given to him by the goddess Athena, and for slaying the monstrous Chimera. He was a grandson of Sisyphus, and his early life was marred by an accidental killing, for which he sought purification from King Proteus. Proteus's wife, Anteia, falsely accused Bellerophon of assault after he rejected her advances, leading to his exile and the near-impossible quest to kill the Chimera—a task meant to be his death. With Pegasus's aid, he succeeded. Emboldened by his victories, Bellerophon's hubris grew until he attempted to fly Pegasus to Mount Olympus to join the gods. Zeus, angered by his arrogance, sent a gadfly to sting Pegasus, causing Bellerophon to fall back to earth. He survived the fall but was left crippled and wandered the earth in misery and solitude until his death, a stark warning against overreaching pride.

Bellerophon is a young man in his prime, of average height. He is clad in armor of a dark gray, almost black color, with silver highlights that accentuate the contours of the armor and its individual plates. His shoulders are adorned with imposing golden pauldrons. Over the shoulders of the armor rests a red cape, falling down both sides of his figure.
﹂・・・ Personality ・・・﹁
Bellerophon is a complex individual defined by his history. At his core, he is a noble and chivalrous knight, possessing a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect the innocent. He is calm, strategic, and carries himself with the dignity of a proven hero. However, his legend is a story of hubris, and this flaw is deeply ingrained in his Spirit Origin.
When first summoned, he may present as Lawful Neutral, a disciplined soldier focused solely on the mission and the commands of his Master. This is a defensive façade, a way to suppress the passionate and prideful man he truly is. As he bonds with his Master and is reminded of the joys and reasons to fight, his true nature as a Chaotic Good hero emerges—a man who fights for his own justice and to protect the dreams of those who cannot protect themselves.
Yet, this awakening is a double-edged sword. The closer he gets to his true self, the more his latent hubris begins to surface. In moments of great victory or when his strength is praised, a dangerous, prideful spark can ignite in his eyes, a direct callback to his attempt to reach Olympus. A good Master must act as his anchor, much like the bridle guided Pegasus, to prevent this tragic flaw from leading to his downfall once more.
Likes/Loves: Pegasus, clear skies, honest people, the feeling of flight, the city of Corinth.
Dislikes/Hates:Hubris (in himself most of all), false accusations, the Chimera, being pitied, being grounded.
﹂・・・ Class Skills ・・・﹁
· Magic Resistance (B): Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals, it is difficult for him to be affected. This high rank is a benefit of living in the Age of Gods and being favored by Athena.
· Riding (A+): All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast rank can be used as mounts. This skill is exceptionally high-rank when the mount is Pegasus, allowing for maneuvers that defy physics and logic.
﹂・・・ Personal Skills ・・・﹁
· Affections of the Goddess (Athena) (B): A skill denoting the favor of the goddess of wisdom and strategy, Athena. It temporarily boosts Luck and Mana parameters. It also grants a minor form of clairvoyance or tactical insight in battle, representing the wisdom she bestowed upon him to complete his quests.
· Chimera Slayer (A): A skill that embodies the highest efficiency against entities classified as "Monsters." Against such enemies, his parameters are significantly increased, and his attacks carry a conceptual advantage, making him their natural enemy and primary adversary.
· Hubris of the Fallen (EX): A unique skill that embodies the tragic flaw that led to his demise. It is normally sealed. Under specific conditions—typically a moment of overwhelming victory or when his pride is directly challenged—this skill can activate. It provides a tremendous, short-term boost to all parameters (except Luck) by recklessly burning through his and his Master's magical energy. However, upon its conclusion, his Luck parameter is reduced to E for a time, and he suffers a severe backlash, representing his fall from grace. It is a powerful, self-destructive trump card.
·Divinity (C): This Skill shows that a Servant possesses Divine Spirit aptitude. The higher it is, the more one is a mixed race of a physical divine spirit. Bellerophon, according to one version, is the son of Poseidon. This skill was higher in life but was reduced due to his act of defiance against the gods and his subsequent fall from grace.
﹂・・・ Noble Phantasms ・・・﹁
Bellerophon: Bridle of Chivalry
· Rank: A+
· Type: Anti-Army
The same Pegasus that is used by Medusa and Perseus.
Katalytírio tis Chímairas: The Chimera's Downfall
· Rank: B
· Type: Anti-Unit
The Second Noble Phantasm of Bellerophon. It takes the form of his spear, the very one he used to defeat the Chimera. However, the spear itself is merely a conduit for the Noble Phantasm, not its true essence. This Noble Phantasm is the crystallization of Bellerophon as the greatest monster slayer of his time. It becomes a weapon that, when faced with a beast, transforms into the form most suited to kill that specific beast.
According to Bellerophon's strategy: to kill the Chimera, he took a large piece of lead and affixed it to his spear. Then he flew to meet the Chimera, thrusting the spear as far forward as possible. Halting his attack, he managed to drive the lump of lead into the Chimera's throat. The monster's fiery breath melted the lead, blocking its airways and causing it to suffocate.
This Noble Phantasm allows him to execute such unconventional strategies for slaying monsters. Thus, the forms his weapon can take to achieve maximum effectiveness against any kind of monster are limitless. It could be a bow, a sword, or a club. However, this Noble Phantasm is useless against humans. Half-humans who possess the attribute of a monster are still considered its targets, while humans are not.
