She is not a hero of myth,but a heroine of reality. Her true name is unknown to history; "Lucy" is a modern epithet given to the most complete skeleton of an Australopithecus afarensis individual ever discovered. She lived approximately 3.2 million years ago and represents a critical juncture in human evolution: a creature that walked upright on the ground, yet still retained the ability to climb trees with ease.

Her legend is not one of kings or conquests, but of survival and the first, tentative steps towards humanity. Her "feats" are etched into her very bones—the structure of her pelvis and knees that prove bipedalism, the wear on her teeth that speak of a varied diet. Her "Noble Phantasm" is the indelible mark she and her kind left upon the world, the spark of potential from which all of humanity would eventually spring. As a Servant, she is a Pseudo-Servant, where the "legend" of the species she represents has been given a voice and form through the most famous individual specimen.

Her skin is sun-darkened and covered in faint, downy hair. Her eyes are a warm, intelligent amber, holding a deep, ancient curiosity. Her features are a mix of modern human and archaic hominin, with a slightly more pronounced jaw and brow ridge. She stands with a slight, natural stoop, but her posture is grounded and stable. She wears minimal clothing, primarily animal hides and simple leather straps, adorned with feathers, bones, and polished stones. Her feet are bare, calloused, and strong.

Lucy's mind is a strange fusion of primal instinct and profound,nascent sapience. As a Berserker, her primary language is emotion and sensation, not complex speech. She communicates through grunts, gestures, and empathetic projections of feeling. She is intensely curious, examining anything new with her hands, nose, and mouth. She is fiercely protective of those she considers her "troop" (her Master and allies), displaying a loyalty that is simple, direct, and absolute.

However, the Madness Enhancement skill renders her emotional state volatile. A sudden loud noise can trigger a flight response, a perceived threat can send her into a savage, shrieking rage, and a moment of beauty (like a sunrise) can leave her in a state of silent, tearful awe. She views the modern world with a mixture of terror and wonder, seeing steel and glass as strange, cold cliffs, and crowds of people as an impossibly large, confusing tribe.

Likes/Loves: The warmth of the sun, ripe fruit, high places to perch and observe, the sound of flowing water, her Master (whom she sees as the alpha of her troop).

Dislikes/Hates:The smell of smoke and industry, being confined, large predatory animals (even as phantoms), the cold loneliness of being the "only one."

Rather than a curse or magical effect, this "madness" is the raw, unfiltered state of a pre-human consciousness. A Skill representing one who stands at the root of a species' lineage. Lucy is a common ancestor to all humanity. This grants her a unique conceptual defense against "younger" mysteries. Phenomena and weapons born from human history, myth, and achievement have their effectiveness slightly reduced against her, as she is their "origin." It is not a powerful defensive barrier, but a subtle, pervasive resistance.

· Walking Upright - The First Step (A):

The sublimation of her greatest evolutionary achievement. This skill represents the liberation of the hands and the expansion of the horizon. It grants her incredible agility and balance, allowing her to traverse any terrain—vertical cliffs, dense forests, crumbling ruins—as if it were flat ground. Furthermore, it embodies the "potential" of the hand, granting her a preternatural skill in using found objects as simple tools or projectiles.

A form of clairvoyance, but not for seeing the future. Lucy can instinctively "read" a landscape. In this state, her "fragile" human-like flesh is replaced by the enduring, petrified truth of her existence. She becomes a being of stone and ancient memory, dramatically increasing her Endurance and granting near-total immunity to mental interference and poisons. However, her Agility drops, as she moves with the heavy, grinding gait of stone. It is the ultimate defensive state, representing how her true power was not in life, but in the enduring legacy she left for eternity.

This is Lucy's true Noble Phantasm,and it cannot be actively used in a standard Holy Grail War. Its activation conditions are nearly impossible to meet. It is the sublimation of her role as a progenitor. If somehow activated, it does not attack or defend. Instead, it performs a "conceptual rewrite" on a target, reverting them to a state of pure, primal potential—stripping away all the layers of civilization, culture, and even the Mystery accumulated throughout their legend. It is a return to the "beginning," a reset to zero. Against a Servant, this could mean the temporary loss of all Skills and Noble Phantasms tied to their human achievements, reducing them to their most basic spiritual core. It is the ultimate expression of "I am what came before you."

One of the three monstrous children of Loki and the giantess Angrboða,Jörmungandr was prophesied to bring great calamity upon the Gods. Upon seeing the serpent, Odin had it cast into the great ocean that encircles Midgard. There, the serpent grew so large that it could encircle the entire world and grasp its own tail, earning the name "Midgard Serpent" or "World Serpent."

Its existence is one of waiting, of inevitable conflict. Its legendary feud with the thunder god Thor is the stuff of myth. Their first encounter saw Thor attempt to lift the serpent disguised as a colossal cat. Their final, prophesied meeting will be at Ragnarök. There, they are destined to slay one another: Thor will strike the killing blow, but will only manage to take nine steps before succumbing to the serpent's potent venom.

Jörmungandr is not merely a beast; it is a fundamental component of the Norse cosmological cycle, an agent of destruction that must occur so that the world can be reborn.

Dark, scale-like patterns trace along his skin, coalescing into more defined, iridescent black scales on his arms, shoulders, and back. His presence is oppressive, carrying the immense pressure of the deep ocean. When his True Form is partially revealed, the shadow of a colossal serpent might be glimpsed behind him, or the environment might warp as if viewed through deep water.

Jörmungandr is patient,cold, and possesses a perspective so vast it is alien to most humans. He speaks rarely, and when he does, his voice is a low, resonant hum that feels less heard and more felt. He views the world and its inhabitants with a detached curiosity, much like a human might observe ants before their hill is washed away. He is not hateful, but utterly inevitable. He finds the struggles of heroes and mages quaint, knowing that all their efforts are, in the grand scale of time, meaningless. He is drawn to conflict and chaos, not out of bloodlust, but because it is his nature and purpose.

Likes/Loves: The depths of the ocean, the taste of salt, the scent of ozone before a storm, the silence of the abyss, the concept of endings.

Dislikes/Hates:Thor (a deeply ingrained, instinctual rivalry), order and stagnation, being restrained, the "arrogance" of gods and men who believe their era is permanent.

· Mad Enhancement (EX): He is not "mad" in the traditional sense. Instead, his reason is replaced by an overwhelming, primordial drive for destruction—the "madness" of a natural disaster. This skill grants a tremendous rank-up to parameters but completely suppresses complex speech and higher reasoning related to creation or preservation.

1. Monstrous Strength (A++): As one of the greatest Phantasmal Beasts in all of mythology, Jörmungandr possesses an immeasurable level of raw, physical power. This skill can be activated to temporarily push his Strength parameter to an even more absurd level, far beyond the scale of normal Servants.

2. Divinity (B): As a child of Loki and grandson of the giant Farbauti, he possesses a mixed divine and giant heritage. His rank is lowered from its original potential due to his nature as an enemy of the Gods and the World he was cast into. It is not a blessing, but a measure of his divine origin and his intrinsic link to the gods' fate.

3. Nega-Origin (The World) (A): A unique skill representing his role as the "End" of the world. He does not defend against attacks, but rather "denies" the very existence and history of what tries to harm him. Conceptual weapons, history-based Noble Phantasms, and attacks that rely on a target's "origin" have their effectiveness drastically reduced. He is the final destination; tracing the path backwards to his beginning is nearly impossible.

4. Venom of the World's End (EX): The potent venom that is fated to kill even the thunder god Thor. It is less a poison and more a conceptual weapon that accelerates entropy and decay. It can corroce not just flesh and spirit, but even magical energy, concepts, and reality itself. A mere scratch can be fatal to a Servant.

The manifestation of Jörmungandr's legend of encircling the world and bringing about Ragnarök. It is not an attack he launches, but the revelation of his True Form. Upon calling its true name, the boundary between the battlefield and the depths of the ocean that surrounds Midgard vanishes. The area is flooded with a primordial sea, and the colossal, coiling form of the World Serpent is unveiled, grasping its own tail to form a perfect circle.

Within this bounded field, the "World" is effectively ended. Reality is rewritten to reflect the conditions of Ragnarök: the sky darkens, the earth fractures, and the sea boils. It is a Reality Marble-like effect that imposes the "end of all things" upon the current era. All within the field are subject to immense pressure, constant attack from the serpent's body, and the corrosive effects of his venom, which now permeates the very air and water. The only way to escape is to survive until the Noble Phantasm's immense mana cost forces it to end, or to possess a Noble Phantasm of equal rank that can "recreate the world" or "define a new truth" to overwrite the apocalyptic reality.

When a master provides magical energy to their servant, they do so via the magical path connecting them. A master has absolute control over the mana they send to their servant, allowing them to reduce their fighting strength and even force them into spirit mode. We see this done with Medea in UBW.

Assuming this is correct, why is it common for berserker class servants to end up outright killing their master or draining their magical energy to their deaths? If masters have complete control over how much magical energy they give a servant then why can’t the master of berserker in fate zero simply stop feeding him mana? Why couldn’t master of berserker in fate/strange fake limit berserkers power and force him into spirit mode before she nearly got herself killed? Am I missing something here?

Also, where does independent action fit into all of this? I understand the skill allows the servant to survive without a master for an extended period of time, but I’m referring to what the skill does that makes them difficult for masters to control while still bound to one.

Do you think Gil can be summoned as different classes besides archer? If so how do you think that would affect his personality. There’s a period of his tales where he goes crazy about facing mortality, maybe even have his personality based around when he was collecting all the treasures of the world. A Gil that’s excited to fight and “steal/reclaim” his treasure in the form of collecting weapon and item based noble phantasms. Pretty fun ideas for a berserker Gilgamesh, Killgamesh. Get it.
