@DarkMaciek999 What I’m saying is whether this Zeus is on the same level as Sefar. It is said that the more the Machine Gods fuse, the closer they get to Chaos; however, the fusion was temporary. So, in theory, he shouldn’t be much above the Zeus from human history before losing his divine body.

Quirinus being considered equal to him kind of reinforces this. Does having a god’s authority equate to having the entirety of their existence? We know that even without their authorities, the Machine Gods still faced the Titans, who became divine spirits.

Honestly, the list you sent doesn’t seem very impressive compared to what Sefar faced, which is at least two or three pantheons.

I mean if consider before PPH one lost his divine body, LB one does have other Machine Gods' authorities which probably does affect his power since he has a better arsenal with it, is probably stronger than PPH one (at least before he lost his divine body) but you may be right

Well, in theory, Zeus becomes stronger the more Machine Gods die, because he can access their authorities through Cronos’s crown. Honestly, I don’t know how much the authorities actually increase Zeus’s strength. Does his power really increase when a Machine God dies, like what happened with Aphrodite or Artemis, Because honestly, it doesn’t seem like it.

It depends, I think. It’s said that Zeus became omnipotent after obtaining Cronos’s crown. I think only three other characters are described that way (Arjuna, Kiara, and Goetia), and among them, Zeus seems to be the closest to truly being that. So, in theory, he could replicate any authority, at least at a basic level.

After all, authority is referred to as a manifestation of omnipotence during the Babylonia Singularity — or is that just in the anime? I honestly don’t quite remember

I mean, Arjuna (which I assume you mean Lostbelt version aka Arjuna Alter) has all Hindu Gods beside Genesha and Kama (apperently) but Kiara... she is a Beast, and also she qualifies for Saver-class aka probably the most OP one considering what person get to that class

Zeus is strong but even after unfusing with the other machine gods he is not capable of defeating Sefar by himself. Sefar is like a universal cancer that gets stronger the more intelligent her enemy is. Amaterasu, who literally embodies a sun on a universal scale (buddhism), had such a humiliating defeat she became a recluse. Sefar literally dog walked every single living god, alien and lifeform. Only falling to Excalibur at full power. She is the sole reason as to why gods decided divine constructs need to exist as safety measures against all kinds of threats. In Lostbelt 6, (idgaf about spoilers) we see what happens when she fulfills her functions. There is not a single landmass left on the planet, she destroyed everything and left behind an ocean of nothing before self destructing. Even after fusing with the machine gods in Lostbelt 5, he was only capable of driving her off the planet where she just explodes due to redundancy. He never was able to kill her. In the battle her limbs fell off and it made it to earth where they gain sentience and became Giants, which the machine gods can easily defeat. Whereas in proper history they as divine spirits couldn’t even scratch these giants. The strongest machine god is Khaos, a literal dyson sphere Ark. even at his dormant state and weakened, he easily poses a threat to not just the planet but the entire solar system. He didn’t even make it through the wormhole that acted as a gateway to our solar system, and he posed such a big threat had Musashi not close it.

Simply put, LB Zeus is so strong as well as being essentially an alien warship, humanity has no means to defeat alien technology. A well written lore.

@SpicyCookie I’m a bit unsure about this whole Sefar issue. Both Aphrodite and Hephaestus make it very clear that Zeus obliterated and killed her, but Nasu says otherwise. Honestly, I don’t know if this was a retcon by Nasu, which wouldn’t surprise me considering what he did with the Grand Servants.

I’ve also heard some people say that Zeus reprogrammed Aphrodite and Hephaestus to claim that, but that’s pure speculation. Zeus himself doesn’t really come across as a liar — in fact, he even shows admiration for enemies who prove themselves worthy. And at the end of the day, he still defeated Sefar, whether he killed her or not.

It is not a retcon. I know what you’re talking about regarding aphrodite and demeter, but they’re both characters who had their conscience overwritten during the entire battle. This is a writing perspective where the characters can only describe what they know/been told. In fact, Goredolf and Sherlock himself speculated that, and their guesses were proven correct. Later on during our confrontation with Zeus himself, he admitted that he could not have defeated Sefar by himself. And even after assuming the authorities of the other machine gods he said so himself he could only fight her to a draw. It was never a retcon, it was an instance of taking what other characters say at face value. Even after assuming the authorities Sefar was just too strong for him.

I mean Sefar whooped Amaterasu's ass, someone who is clearly more powerful than Zeus and the 12 Olympians combined
