I don't think that's really a thing? Heroes tend to have unique names, its part of what makes a hero, you hear their name and you know who's being talked about. Especially since again, their True Names are in their native languages, so unless they share a time period and region the name will still be different.

Regarding the question, I think in that case, they would use their Class names or some nickname for one of them, but it will really depend on the situation and the characters.

Do you know any heroes to use as an example? I know that some of Jesus' apostles had the same name, but they weren't exactly heroes.

In the real world or Type-Moon?

In the real world (and also in Type-Moon), Saber (Artoria) can be used as an example. We also have Sigurd and Siegfried (I don't know if that's only in Type-Moon or also in the real legends). About the real world, some figures share the same name, and in some cases, so it's not always clear whether they are the same legendary heroes or different people altogether.

Who besides Artoria Pendragon is named Artoria Pendragon? I assume Maciek means totally different people, not alts given "2 heroes share the same name but aren't related to eachother at all beside having the same name."

About Artoria, you have Artorius, not the same, but similar. You can find more information on Saber (Artoria) page here.

Artorius has a very different name, and thus doesn't fit the description. Maciek is talking about a person who has the exact same whole name. Artoria's name is Artoria Pendragon, I shouldn't need to point out how different that name is to Lucius Artorius Castus.

I was trying to think what example I should used to explain it and thought to use Bedivere and Bedwyr but it wouldn't make sense since they are technically connected (EDIT: Plus the names). But in short, yeah I meant a person/hero who has the exact same whole name without being connected at the same time. Like idk, like in Greek texts where there are characters that have the same name yet aren't the same character, heck not even related, like one of the giants whose shares a name with some human I think(?) who isn't related to the said giant, and etc.
